3.3 bios for k7n2 ILSR Delta

Hi I am looking for the 3.3 bios and I cant seem to find it anywhere, anyone know of any links that I can use to find it?

The bios numbers for the K7N2 Delta ILSR start at 7.1 to 7.6 so don't know what mean by 3.3.

Hi, i need the BIOS for the Bios for MSI K7n2 delta 2 LSR Motherboard, because i have a Mobile Barton 2800+ CPU with FSB 266 and it isn't recognized correct, i would like to set the Multiplier to 16, the highest setting is 13 - but at 13 my system didnt boot anymore. I already said in the other thread you can't set 16 manually. Set it to auto.

Extended test ended up going back to 193x11.5 (2222)
Crashed in looping of demo 3Dmark2001SE after 45 mins.
Noticed my Nostromo game pad not being reconized , lights stayed on(not good)USB
Backed up fsb a couple notches to stable again. All is good
passing all extended test.
gained 1 fsb from 192 to 193. I'll still take it.

Are there any such thing even as i have noticed alot of AGP drivers for Intel based boards .... i am looking for one to suit a AMD based board a MS-6570 ILSR K7N2-Delta running a AMD XP2600+ with the FX5600 but looking for AGP drivers for board... Thanks :]

K7n2 - ILSR Delta crashes with fsb at 166

Just bought a K7n2 delta-ILSR and im running an xp 3000+ 333 fsb with 2x 512 crucial pc3200. When i run the fsb at 166 i get random crashes but if i run the fsb at 133 it runs ok.
Any idea why it will not run at the proper speed of 166.

kingston removed k7n2 from their support list.

why msi has not removed kingston is a mystery.

Problems with 3.4 bios for k7n2-l

1) everytime i switch my pc on, it hangs. i have to press the reset button to get it to post.
2) i got 5 entries of "memory controller" in device manager. after flashing my bios, windows auto-detected these entries.
3) i can't oc that high anymore. my pc would hang if i set it to 191fsb. before, i can even reach 200.
i'm really disappointed with msi. makes me wanna switch to another mobo manufacturer. i'm just sick and tired of this motherboard. i can't even set my ram voltage.

With my older kt266a chipset and a 1700+ cpu, I had the regular cpu temp higher than case temp.
But then I applied a patch that enabled the use of the CPU HALT command. This effectively stopped the cpu completely when it wasn't doing anything. The temps at 100% load did NOT change, but the temps at idle were dramastically different.
Considering the effectiveness of todays heat sinks, it is not unbelievable for a cpu temp to be lower than a case temp, as long as the cpu temp is above ambient. In my case, I have 2 7200 rpm hard drives, which have 2 80mm fans blowing on them. There is also an nvidia gf4 4200 which puts off a good deal of heat. If the mobo temp sensor is located in such an area that it picks up the heat from those items, and the cpu get's airflow that has not been heated by those items, then I can see how there would be a large difference in temperature from mobo to cpu at idle.
at load, the cpu should be above mobo temps if you use a regular case and air cooling method.

Just purchased a tv card, how can i connect it's audio output the mobo, as i'm using the onboard sound.?.
Seems to be no input pin other than CD.
Any help would be appreciated.

if you use winxp then remove cd audio cable as its not used by default.
the sound is taken through the ide cable.
you have a line in.

I bought it from second hand and Live Update tells me,that MB uses BIOS for K7N2 L. When I want upgrade BIOS for ILSR,awfl826b tells that file size doesnt match
How to flash the right BIOS? I want to use SATA hdd....There is Promise SATA 150 on board.

K7N2-ILSR Sudden freezing due to onboard sound

I have had a few problems from the start with the K7N2-ILSR, i have overcome them all except my machine freezes when the onboard sound is enabled. I do not have any other cards in my machine except for my Geforce4.
The problem will only occur when the onboard sound has been eneabled in the bios it will happen when you play sound or not it just locks up or restarts!!!
I have read through alot of the posts and i havn't come across any problems that are the same.
Could you please give me some help as i am getting really annoyed with it.

No If i enable onboard sound or install a PCI card i will get a lockup whenever! I don't have to be doing anything it will just suddenly freeze.
I am using my machine now with the onboard sound off and it will not freeze at all but after this session on the internet i get an error and then my machine will not BURN

I installed win2k on the HDD on IDE1 (Master) after setup finished i added the second HDD on IDE3(Raid) set it to a "0" array.
I am going to try a fresh install onto my HDD on IDE3 (Raid) with WINXP chosing the Raid option in setup then install all the latest drivers from nvidia and so on.... The only problem i have is time or lack of!
i have ran the memtest86 V3.0 and i din't get any errors but i ran the test while i had dual ram setup. I will try again seperately.
I have also changed my DDR settings to 333 to match the CPU this has had no effect.
What powersupply would you say is the best? Where to get it from? and how much?

Problem. Started out with a K6 mobo, all went well but after a week PC failed and I had to re-install Windows. Then started getting random shutdowns, initially only when using DVD Shrink but then all of the time until Windows crashed out again!
Went through re-install and some diagnostics and eventually changed mobo for this one, K7N2.
Fresh install of Windows. (Had to phone Microsoft!!) Everything fine for two days and then......random re-boots, mainly on DVD Shrink.
Did following, Changed ram. Hard drive. Power supply up to 550w. Disconnected all drives except master. Disconnected all drives. Re-installed windows to different drive as a test, same issue, possibly seems ok until i do all the updates and get the latest drivers in? Have tried ROM config's only 1 rom connected etc to isolate those. Have changed all cables in case of tiny hidden cracked wire.
In other words, I have tried everthing i can think of, have basically re-built the thing and get same prob under different conditions, installations, even after 2 mobo's, only thing I didnt change yet is the chip. My feeling is probably its a driver issue, have read the comments on the BIOS site and flashed to 7.7 so thats up to date. Am now going to re-format, re-install and run with basic drivers, see how that goes, then introduce drivers and see what makes it crash. Will let you know how I get on if I doont throw the damn thing off of a bridge and take up Knitting instead. In the mean time if any of you can help.......PLEASE!!
PS I Use dvd shrink as a test because it almost always causes a crash, but not always, and during the encryption process which I imagine is very processor hungry, writer doesnt cause crash as its not involved at crash stage.

:idea:ok this i what happen to me when i first install windows and like u geting update and my pc went nut more or les :noidea:I didn,t inable the fire wall. In my case win xp so things keep going wrong if it wasn,t this it was that, still I didn,t know? so what I did was to disconmnect the internet and and once again start from scarch format the drive I intsalled windows xp ( advaned)inable the firewall than updates and things r great, :rolleyes_anim:Give it a shot

I had this same problem but i think i found solution. STEP 1 plug mouse to ps2 keyboard port and vice versa, if that will not help ... STEP 2 in bios set BOOT UP NUM LOCK LED to off and GATE A20 OPTION to normal that should help!!! it REALY solved my problem!!

K7N2-ILSR boots in BIOS - 2 LEDs on

Hi.
I have a real Problem with my K7N2-ILSR MB. The last evening, I switched my PC off. Next day, I wanted to start it, but the boot-routine always goes to the BIOS. A RAM Test ran successfully. The D-Bracket shows the following sign, but I don't know the meanig of it.
Lamp 1: RED
Lamp 2: GREEN
Lamp 3: RED
Lamp 4: GREEN
My HDD ist an SATA one and I also have a Radeon 9800 PRO from Sapphire.

Do you have another video card to try?
Check the memory, remove it and put it back in.
Were you overclocking anything.
Could it be a weak power supply?
If you have a look on the power supply you will find a sticker with the following infomation arrange in a grid/table.
eg
400W
+12v = 18a
+5v = 32a
+3.3v = 28a
