3.50mm to 6.35mm plug adapter, music in Midi Sequence for

Hey all,
I just bought the X-FI Platinum card to go with my Logitech Z-5500s. The problem is the platinum card only comes with ONE 3.50mm to 6.35mm plug adapter, and two are needed to connect to a headset's sound jack and microphone jack, on the X-FI I/O Dri've. Where can I shop online to buy another 3.50mm to 6.35mm plug adapter? Please link if possible.
Also, I've noticed that ever since I bought the sound card, the music that I have on the computer that are Midi Sequence Files won't play any sound. It would play on my old onboard nforce2 soundstorm. What is wrong? I have two files that are in this format so I'd like to hear them.
One last thing. Since I have the Logitech Z5500s and X-Fi platinum, what kind of wire should I need to buy to connect to my TV? and PS2? Thx

) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ype=osi_widget is the type of adapter that you're looking for.
2) Click on Start->Settings->Control Panel->Sound and Audio devices->Audio Tab and from here set the MIDI music playback device to be your soundcard's synth A or synth B.
3) It depends on what outputs your TV's got. If it's got a headphone socket you could use 3.5 mm double ended cable to go to your Z5500s aux input from your TV's headphone socket. A better way to do it is to use a phono x 2 to stereo mini-plug cable
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/wbrI...es_AudioCables
if your TV's got phono x 2 outputs at the back. You can plug this into your Z-5500s aux inputs.
You should really be asking this on the Logitech forums.

  • I am going to buy a time capsule it it will work on European 220v as the Mac Book Pro does.  Can anyone tell me if it does when you use a plug adapter.  Thanks

Will the Time Capsule work on European 220v if it was bought in the US.  Do you need a transformer or just a plug adapter?  Thanks

The Time Capsule will run on 100-240 volts and 50-60 Hz so you only need a plug adapter, not a transformer with this device.
For more details, look under the Electrical heading on the specifications of the Time Capsule.

  • Charging an iPad Air in the US via a plug adapter

    Hello everyone,
I have a question about charging my European-bought iPad Air in the US.
I am using the original iPad Cable and a socket adapter from SKROOS to charge my iPad and I've noticed that it takes much longer to charge the device compared to Europe. To illustrate I left it completely discharge and then plugged it in in airplane mode and after 4 hours the battery is only 50% full. I do not have another cable to try charging it with, but I've tried two different sockets (at home and at work) and in both cases it takes longer than usual. Hence, I was wondering if taking longer to charge is normal given that I'm using a socket adapter.
Any advice on how to improve the battery charging? Would it be OK if I bought a US charger from Apple? From what I understand my EU-device should hadle the voltage?!
    Great many thanks!
    Robert

All Apple chargers work from 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz power. All you will need is a plug adapter for the country you are in.
See the various plug configurations for different countries at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4341
Using US power vs European power shouldn't make a difference.
Try this first -  Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

  • Heading to Sri Lanka - do I need a voltage converter or just the plug adapter for my Ipad?

To recharge my IPAD do I need a voltage converter or just an outlet plug adapter?  The print on the plug that came with the IPAD is so small I can't read it!

Just the plug adapter, as the power brick itself can go from 100-240 VAC, 50-60Hz. I'd take a spare charger and cable, just in case.

  • US IBook AC plug adapter into European MacBook power adapter?

    Hello everybody,
I have a MacBook white, bought in France, and I would like to use it in the US. Some years ago I bought a power adapter for my IBook G3 in the US, so I kept the AC plug adapter. Do you think it is safe to use the old AC plug adapter with the new power adapter? It looks just like the plugs shown in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit, but I prefer to be sure. I just don’t want to burn my Mac!
    Hoping someone could help…

Perfectly fine. It's a standard connector that Apple hasn't changed in years. It's an extremely simple passive connection with no electronics. I've been freely swapping the adapter plugs from iBook, MacBook, and iPod power adapters.

  • Need power converter/plug adapter for trip to Russia

A family member will be in Moscow, Russia for a few weeks, later this month. I've already talked to AT&T about the cost of using the phone, SMS and the data network (it ain't cheap!). However, our REAL concern is how to charge the iPhone 3G while in Moscow.
Can someone recommend some converter/adapter devices that will suffice for the trip? I know nothing about how Russia's electric power differs from the US.
    Thanks

Apple's Ultracompact USB Adapter works with 100-240v, 50-60 Hz. Moscow electricity is 220V 50Hz. All you would need is a European plug adapter with two circular metal pins. Here's one: http://www.calcellular.com/uni-ad-2la.html

  • What plug adapter do I use to connect the new Macbook USB-C port to a cinema display?

What plug adapter do I use to connect the new Macbook USB-C port to a cinema display?

If you intend to connect your 2008 display to the new macbook then you will need a USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter ($79) as well as a mini display port to VGA port adapter ($29) and also a VGA-VGA Standard 15-Pin VGA Male to VGA Male Cable ($5).
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MJ1L2AM/A/usb-c-vga-multiport-adapter
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB572Z/B/mini-displayport-to-vga-adapter
    http://www.amazon.com/VGA-VGA-Standard-15-Pin-Male-Cable/dp/B0002AHT0M
The 2008 old cinema analogue Apple Cinema Displays were mostly pre-quipped with a mini display port rather than a  VGA or HDMI port. So you will have to connect the mini display port to VGA port adapter to your 2008 ACD and the USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter to your new macbook and connect the two female VGA ports with a VGA-VGA Standard 15-Pin VGA Male to VGA Male Cable.
But I can't guarantee though that the above setup will work for your new macbook and your 2008 Apple Cinema Display. You should double check with Apple support regarding my suggestion. Just let me know.......

  • When I plugged my iphone into the computer for the first time I lost all of my music and my ringtones. Is there a way to get them back without buying them back?

When I plugged my iphone into the computer for the first time i lost all my music and ringtones. Is there a way to get them back without buying them again, or will I have to buy them again.

Download the free app My Contacts Backup and use it to back up the contacts on your device now (it will back them up as an attachment to an email that you send to yourself).  Then restore your device to your most recent backup to see if it will recover your contacts.  If not, if necessary you can open the email and tap the attachment to re-import the contacts you have now back to your device.
If you need to restore to an iCloud backup this has to be done in the initial setup process, which requires you to first erase your device.  If you have any more recent data on your device now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first.  Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  You will then go through the setup screens on your device, and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below).  Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

I have it set on manually manage music and videos. So there is no automatic syncing going on or anything like that. Yes iTunes was open and when i plugged in my phone i could see all the music and everything on my phone, everything was working like it was supposed to, I didn't have a problem until I unplugged the phone.
