3.6.13 installed and bookmarks went away, won't open backup to restore, won't import and won't create new bookmarks Thanks.
Don't know what else I can add, except that I opened it today and my last browser session with open tabs is lost, and FF didn't recognize that fact, as it usually does.
I can add that I have multiple bookmark files saved to my Time Machine (Mac). The only corrupted file is the one from today when all the bookmarks disappeared. However, when I try to restore any of them, Firefox says the file cannot be restored. I saved an html copy and looked the files, and they are fine.

Google doesn't pick the name up, are you sure you didn't make a typo? If you're really interested, you could try to find the add-on's files in your profile (see [[Profiles]], then "extensions" folder, then the folder with install.rdf file inside containing the name you see in the add-ons window) and check its source or post it somewhere and try to get someone to look at it. -

Yes, I've done all "the ususal suspects.." repaired permissions, zapped pram, "reintroduced Time Machine to the backup drive by turning it off and on... etc

Hi - I'm on a Mac - OSX 10.4.11 Trying to get DNG 6.7 installed. Says 'sucsessfull' but big line throght icon and app won't open. Previous DNG was 5.6 and was fine. Dragged it to trash to delete. and deleted trash. Then realised poss mistake and installed AppDelete and reinstaled 5.6 and draged to AppDelete - along with 6.7 then tried again to instal 6.7 but still no good. Any ideas what I can do? or where things have gone wrong and how can I fix? Thank you .
If this is a compatibility issue because you are using an older operating system then there isn't much you can do aside from updating your OS. Do you need DNG converter 6.7? You said that DNG converter 5.6 was working fine. You could reinstall it if it supports your camera.

My iphone 5c went black screen and it still can cut on and off and it went black screen when i was on facetime with a friend and could still talk to them perfectly fine. After upgrade to 6.3.4 cannot create new bookmarks by dragging nor open existing bookmark properties
Just upgraded to 3.64. Now I cannot create new bookmarks either by dragging a URL or trying to create a new one in organize bookmarks. For existing bookmarks when I hit properties on the pop up menu all I get is a title bar that says "bookmark properties for (name of bookmark)" but I can't resize it or otherwise manipulate the title bar to access information or change the properties

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Error message appear when creating new bookmarks
When creating new bookmarks a pop-up window appear with the following info:

The bookmark is saved at the bottom of the list but it is not possible to select folder to store bookmark. How do I fix this problem?I believe Trust Checker is part of Zone Alarm, to test this try disabling the Zone Alarm add-ons in Firefox to see if you can then create new bookmarks.
To disable extensions:
Click the Tools menu and then select Add-ons . The Add-ons window appears.
# In the Add-ons window, click the Extensions panel. The list of installed extensions appears.
# Click the name of an extension in the list to select it.
# Click Disable to disable the selected extension.
# Click Restart Firefox .
If it does turn out to be the Zone Alarm extension causing the problem, check for any updates to Zone Alarm, if none you could report the issue to them. -
I keep receiving this error every time I open LR, "Lightroom encountered and error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" and the app won't open. It said LR would try and fix this error next time I opened it but the error remains. I tried uninstalled and installing the app and the error remains. I have windows 8. Can anyone please help???
Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. The normal location is Pictures\Lightroom. Locate a folder with the extension .lrdata and delete that folder. Then you should be able to start Lightroom again, and Lightroom will begin building and new previews folder. Do not delete anything else.

I cannot create new bookmark folders
When I try to create a new bookmark folder, the option appears gray in my toolbox and won't let me use it. I can't seem to create new folders though I can use old ones.
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Thanks for responding. Since I upgraded ITUNES to IOS 6, my IPOD Touch no longer works at all. I had numerous apps, music and videos on this touch. It made me restore to factory reset and it still does not work!!! Nothing I do will work on this touch now. I have so much data on this, I don't want to loose or have to restore!
