3 times in a 4 hr period iTunes has stopped working.
I was listening 2 some of my music when in a period of 4 hrs iTunes stops working 3 times. I get the message the app has stopped working.
There are just too many possibilities of ntdll.dll error.
Check the Windows service pack level you're running and then check Microsoft's support site to see if there is a more recent service pack available for installation. Some issues that caused ntdll.dll errors have been corrected in these service packs from Microsoft.
Update drivers for any hardware in your computer where updated drivers are available. Outdated drivers sometimes cause ntdll.dll errors.
Test your memory for damage. If you're receiving ntdll.dll messages, one possible cause could be a bad memory module in your system. Testing your memory will either identify a problem or clear your RAM of any responsibility.
Replace your memory if it fails any of your tests.
Ntdll.dll errors could occur if you have an Iomega Zip drive on the same IDE cable as the hard drive inside your computer. If so, move the Zip drive to a dedicated IDE controller.
Replace the IDE cable connecting the hard drive to the motherboard. If this cable is damaged or malfunctioning, one symptom could be the ntdll.dll error you're seeing.
Repair your installation of Windows. If individual software reinstallations fail to resolve the problem, a repair installation of Windows will replace the ntdll.dll file. (You have done that)
While extremely rare, if everything else has failed, including the clean installation from the last step, you could be dealing with a hardware issue with your hard drive.
Reinstall iTunes if the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use only this program.

I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded. When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:
iTunes has stopped working.
The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up. The computer will shut down the website.
"Check online for a solution and close the program"
"Close the program."
There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details. When clicked a long list of items show up. I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them. I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version. How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?
Here are some of the Problem Details:
"Problem signature: APPCRASH
Application Name: iTunes.exe
Application Version: 11.0.1.12
Application Timestamp: 50c8fc7e"I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.
Good Luck.

Every time I try to import a CD I get "iTunes has stopped working"
I updated to the new 9.0.3.15 version of ITunes a couple of weeks back and ever since I have not been able to import CD's?
It seems it works with every else syncing etc but not importing CD's.
Every time I try to import a CD it will start then within a few seconds I get the message "iTunes has stopped working" and another message saying Windows is looking for a solution.
I have tried going into Control Panel and Programs and repairing the installation but no luck.
Anyone know how I can fix this.I can see messages for other programs that have had issues but nothing for iTunes.
Hmmmm.
Maybe try provoking the error another two or three times, taking a careful note of the time showing on the PC. Now head back into the Action Center. Is there a problem report for any application or operating system component that appears regularly at the same time as the iTunes errors?
If so, paste a copy of a typical error report for that in a reply. (Fingers crossed that might get us a bit closer to understanding what is afoot.) -

After upgrading to version 11.0.4.4 I get a "Itunes has stopped working" message when I try to start a movie on my PC. I have updated Quick time and previous version of Itunes worked great.
One thing is for sure, and that is if the only page i visit is the Google homepage (not logged in) or this site (mozilla forum), the problem does not occur, ever. I can't make it happen.
If i visit yahoo.com (not logged in) (or ighome.com, logged in), as examples, it happens every time. -

My itunes has stopped working out of nowhere. When I open iTunes a message appears stating "iTunes has stopped working." and windows closes iTunes sayng it will look for a solution. I have Windows 8.1 64-Bit and have been using iTunes 11.1 (or the newest one out there). I have un-installed and re-installed multiple times. The same message continues to pop up.
Hi biazonmg,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If iTunes is unexpectedly quitting when you open it, this article has steps to isolate and troubleshoot that:

Every time I close iTunes: "iTunes has stopped working"
Every time I close iTunes, I get the message, "iTunes has stopped working" and "windows is searching for a solution". While this does not cause any problems with using iTunes, it's getting very annoying. I also get the same message when I close Windows Media Player and Adobe Digital Editions.
Ever since I started receiving this message (many many months ago), I've upgraded iTunes several times, but it doesn't fix this problem.
Does anyone know what is going on and how I can fix it?
Thanks!Hi there isaacariah,
