$30 fees, extending equipment dates, what's next?

In the ten years since I became a VZW customer, I have noticed so many changes in pricing/terms that seem counter intuitive to good customer service.
I remember when I could have a smartphone and not be forced into an outrageous data plan. No data plan, no data on phone (that's why it had Wi-Fi). Then of course the attempt was made to force customers into data plans for "feature phones". I argued dozens of times (and won) that I should not be forced to pay 9.95 for data on a new phone, and I already had the SAME PHONE on my other line. A rep actually said that the phone could not work without the plan.....
So then every smartphone being sold was required to have a data plan, and the options for regular phones plummeted, fine.......
Then comes the $30 upgrade fee. So now VZW is telling me that I have to pay them to get a phone, which I am already paying for a subsidized price (for a contract) and paying for a monthly service. Same ** as an activation fee, just to get more money. If I want to give a company fees for doing nothing, I'll use a bank.
Ah, then the Share Everything plans come along....They seem great, I check with multiple customer service agents about my employers discount, I would save a few extra bucks a month. Nice, ok, I'll sign up my 7 lines for this. Then I find out.............its not true. My employer's discount is only applied to the DATA PLAN, not the combination of data/monthly access, or just monthly access. Ultimately, I'm saving less and my bill goes up for a few more dollars and I'm getting nothing I need in return. Thanks.......
Now for the 10 years I've been with VZW, I have been able to upgrade at 22 months, or 20. Usually I waited a bit for a new phone to come out. Now it's 24 months. Pretty cut and dry....Trust me, VZW has made a killing off of me. And I don't mind the fact that I pay more than at most other carriers. I know I am paying for the best cell phone service in the country, hands down. I have loved VZW, but you are doing everything possible to kick me in the face.

I would be curious how much you were paying for those 7 lines PRIOR to switching to Share Everything and what type of phones those 7 lines had active on your previous plan.
Then I would be curious how much data allowance you have chosen with the Share Everything plan and what type of phones you have active on your 7 lines with the Share Everything plan.
You don't give much information about what your circumstances are for anyone to be able to help.

    For credit mgmt, we have last review date and next review date. What happens is whenever a credit limit for a customer is approved, the date on which it is approved becomes the last review date and then this limit is approved for a certain period, the date on which its validity is going to end or a day before that depending on your business requirements becomes the next review date, i.e. on that particular date again that customer's credit limit is reviewed as to whether to maintain the same limit or there is a need to make any changes to it.........
    This date has nothing to do with static or dynamic checks, i.e it is not dependent on them......
    The effect of mantaining this is whenever there is a credit check for a customer, it'll check these dates, if the next review date is in past, that limit is not effective for that customer.....

  • Data migration completed what about next time

    Hi Guys,
    I have sucessfully migrate the data into a new system from our existing Quality server, this is just for testing the tdms implementation, but my question is what about next time, suppose i have migrated all the data from 1.08.2007 to till date and package has been completed, but when we start again we need to create another package i guess and if we need to change only the data selection date then do we have to go for all the step or is there any selective option for us.

    Please see the help file. Here is an extract:
    If no changes regarding the definition of the objects for transfer have been made, you can create a refresh package to replace the data in the receiver system with current data from the related sender system. You can specify a new 'from-date' for the time-related approach and include additional tables in the transfer.
    The refresh package inherits the setting of the related configuration package, which means that you do not have to execute some of the steps that were required for configuration.
    Procedure
    Place the cursor on the related configuration package, and choose Copy for Refresh.

    Base line date :
    Determines the date from which the terms of payment apply.
    Invoice date : jun06.
    Base line date jun 09.
    Say it is over due after 30 days. The 30 days will be from jun 09.

  • T400s, 4th depot return, what's next?

    So, I have this T400s.... 2808-C5U WinXP Pro SP3
    The Ericsson F3507g factory installed WWAN card has now "disappeared" from the system configuration yet again. After exhaustive work with the Lenovo Depot support folks, I'm returning the machine to them, for repairs, again.
    If this were a car, California State Consumer Protection Law would allow me to return the unit and get a full refund via the LEMON LAW. I know the poor CSR's and Techs at the Lenovo can't really do anything but keep replacing the WWAN card, motherboard, and other components ad infinium, but I'd like to actually USE the laptop someday.
    How do I get through to Lenovo? What's next? How do I escalate? I paid $1,400 about 6 months ago for this turd and its various extras (dock, AC/DC, extended warranty) and I'm just about done with it. I'll know more in 48hrs as the machine ships out today.
    Any advice?

    sorry to hear about your experience so far, I can imagine how frustrating this must be. 
    You can escalate by simply telling the service centre that you wish to escalate and create a complaint, the service agent should then be in a position to register your complaint and start the ball rolling. The process will take about three days resulting in you being contacted about your complaint. the key word is complaint.
    I hope the above information helps you, but I would like to add the following in case this may be a factor;
    I don't work for Lenovo, but I am a Thinkpad Reseller and recently experienced a case where one of my customers experienced similar problems as yourself, but not exactly the same. (Like I said; may be a factor). The sytem in question was an X200 tablet, WWAN worked and then stopped working.
    The customer contacted support which resulted in his WWAN card being replaced, but alas this was not the solution. They then replaced the mainboard which again did not solve the problem. At this point the customer was to say the least a little angry, (I would have been too as the X200T isn't a cheap system). They contacted me with the intention of returning the system which they were well within their rights to do.
    Fortunately for me, in this case at least, I have known the customer for several years and there were no personal bad feelings towards one another and they were happy for me to "play" with their notebook for a day.  Using spare hard drives I restored the system to factory, WWAN didn't work   I restored the system with another OS, WWAN didn't work It was not looking good, for me
    Having thought about the problem for a little while I realised that there was one hardware component which had not been replaced, namely the SIM card. I tried a different SIM card and lo and behold everything worked I can only assume that somewhere along the line the customer's SIM card caught a cold, dunno.
    I am not saying that this is the problem in your situation, but have you tried swapping out the SIM card? My customer revealed, when he collected his system, that they had tried two other SIM cards, but they were all the same age as the one in the system - over two years old.
    This all happened three weeks ago and I haven't heard from the customer since - no news is good news as I always say
    I sincerely hope you find your solution and that maybe the information I have provided helps you to that end. Please let us know

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
    For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

    If you have this kind of requirement then you must be having 2 internal tables ,one existing data and 2nd from which you have to insert the records into 1st table.
    so in this case,
    loop at itab1.
      v_index = sy-tabix.
      loop at itab2 into wa where pri_key = itab1-pri_key.
      v_index = v_index + 1.
      insert  wa into itab index v_index.
      endloop.
    endloop.
    Using this code ,your data records similar to your 1st tables primary key records will get inserted into table.

    Looks like you restored your backup file to her phone. If you didn't back up your wife's phone first, then the data is gone, sorry.

    You can transfer itunes purchases:  File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
    The iphone is not a storage/backup device.  The sync is one way - computer to iphone.  The exception is itunes purchases.
    It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Use your backup copy to put everything back.

    It sounds to me like you either got defective parts or otherwise did not make the repair correctly. We cannot help  with self-repairs here, the iPhone officially not user servicable, but you can ask for advice in the forums on ifixit.com, a site which is dedicated to those attempting their own repairs.

    - Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
    Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

    If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

    I had the iOS 7 update available for my iPhone 5 at ~10:45 am Pacific time. I did not update then and checked just now again on my iPhone (over the air update) and the update available to me has been backdated from iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.4 (note that I'm still running iOS 6.1.0). Wait and try again later. It's clear that Apple is limiting the devices that are getting the update because of the overwhelming demand placed on both the download and activation servers.
