Yes, should be more than one, you just copied
the .iso to disk.
Not familiar with the program, but look for
burn ISO to disk or similar.
OR, uninstall that, and get ImgBurn HERE
Choose Mirror 8
And click the Betanews mirror, and BLUE Download Now
button. Watch out for all those other download buttons!

  • 3000 v200 BIOS update problem

I am having a hard time updating the BIOS on my v200.  I have followed the directions exactly (I thought so anyway) and no update.  I downloaded the file, made the disk, hit F12 and chose the DVD/CD drive.  Then every time, it just boots up, no question about if I want to update the BIOS or not.
Any help would be great, cause I have all the problems that everyone else is writing about and my machine has the origional BIOS in it.
    Thanks

  • 3000 v200 + Lenovo Enhanced USB Port Replicator + Samsung SyncMaster 2043WM - Can't make it work

Hi there! Have spent tons of time solving this - but if I plug my SyncMaster screen into the port replicator, my 3000 V200 does show a mirror image on the SyncMaster (but its blurred and does not fit the screen) but at the same time I can't make the system recognize that I have two different screens running.
If I plug the SyncMaster directly into the 3000 v200, it recognizes that I have two screens and the graphics are better (but not great) - but all I wanted was just a very convenient docking station like arrangement.
I have tried the software the came with the port replicator (many times)

I am having a very similar problem but do not have an answer either.  I am running an X61 Type 7676A12 with a Lenovo ACP50 port replicator FRU part number 40Y8160.  I am running Windows XP Pro.  The port replicator has never been very great and would not restore the external monitor picture properly when the laptop had been in sleep mode however it was serviceable if not optimal.  After downloading and installing the October MS security updates the machine would get a BSOD when the port replicator was plugged in.  Remove the replicator and reboot and it worked ok.  Plug it in again and BSOD.  I tried upgrading the drivers from 5.1.4a to 7.1.1.03Aug07 and then to 7.1.2.  No go.  Emailing Targus with the problem got no response.  The port replicator is now relegated to my junk heap of useless rubbish.

  • Update to Windows 7 - Drivers missing for Lenovo 3000 v200

Hi, I bet this not the first post on the matter but I really need help with this...
I just got my laptop (3000 v200) updated to Windows 7 and it seems that many of the drivers are missing (fx. the microphone, webcam and touchpad). I've been browsing the net for solutions but sadly I haven't found a single solution which could fix my problem, most likely because I am not an advanced computer guy.
If there is anyone who can point me into the right direction or tell me if there is a complete Lenovo Drivers Update Package then I would appreciate it very much.

check lenovo download page first but i don't think lenovo doesn't provide windows 7 drivers for your computer. if you have vista drivers, you can try to use them instead of.
by the way, are you using realtek drivers for sound? if yes, you can download the drivers from directly realtek.com

  • 3000 V200 802.11n Mode prblem

I am using a 4965agn adapter in my 3000 v200 notebook-I use a belkin n1 wireless modem router. My notebook only connects in g mode, at 54 mbps. Regardless of whatever I have tried, it does not connect in n mode at a faster speed-any clues about what I can do to fix the problem? thank you
    regards

    Hi
The fan shouldn't normally be constantly running, perhaps you have something taking up a lot of processor cycles causing the processor to be continually hot.
Right click on the task bar and select Task Manager, then select the performance tab.  CPU usage when you are not doing anything should be around 0 to a few percent at the most.  I nicely setup system will idle around 0 to 1%.  If you see values higher here, for example it's stuck on 100% or 50% almost constantly, then a program has a problem causing the CPU to remain running, this is generating your constant heat.  If you see this, click the Process tab and look at the CPU column to find the program causing the issue and post back here.
Otherways to help the laptop stay cool.
    1) Make sure the power scheme is not Home Office Desktop, as that disables some powermanagement features of the processor.
    2) You shouldn't use them on your lap, they are notebooks not laptops.  The underside has lots of vents and on your lap you will be blocking those vents, causing it to get hotter than it should.  If you must use it on your lap, sit it on a rigid surface such as a tray and then sit the try on your lap, this will keep the vents from being blocked.
Notebooks are designed to run hot and will be uncomfortable on your lap, hence they should really be used on a solid surface.
    Regards
    Phil

  • ACPI button/lid problem

    Hello all,
I have been running Arch on this laptop for quite some time now. Recently though I had to do a reinstall of it because I messed it up while trying to do something. Anyway, I got everything working except for the lid problem, i have the age old when I close it, it freezes. I have installed ACPI and it recognizes the Lid event, however it is still frozen I checked the /var/log/messages.log and this is what showed up:
    Jun 19 11:33:12 UsbArch logger: ACPI group/action undefined: video / VID1
Jun 19 11:33:12 UsbArch logger: ACPI group/action undefined: video / VID
All I can tell is that it doesnt recognize the laptop screen or something. On the last install acpi worked like a charm, I dont know why it is not working now. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you, Levi.

I bet it does not freeze.
Test it, follow these steps exactly as they are written:
    Start xwindows
    open a terminal
    close the lid
    open the lid
    wait for a second
    then type this
    xset dpms force on
    then press enter
Your monitor should come back on.
If this works you will need to edit your /etc/acpi/actions/lm_lid.sh file
also make sure that you install laptop_mode and acpid
here is the content of my lm_lid.sh
    #!/bin/sh
    test -f /usr/sbin/laptop_mode || exit 0
    #lid button pressed/released event handler
    #From: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Automatically_turn_off_your_monitor
    if grep -q open /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID/state
    then
    XAUTHORITY="$( ps -C xinit f|sed 's/.*-auth \(.*\)serverauth.*/\1Xauthority/p' )" /usr/bin/xset -display :0.0 dpms force on
    /usr/sbin/laptop_mode auto
    /usr/bin logger dpms force on
    else
    XAUTHORITY="$( ps -C xinit f| sed -n 's/.*-auth \(.*\)serverauth.*/\1Xauthority/p' )" /usr/bin/xset -display :0.0 dpms force off
    /usr/bin logger dpms force off

  • Memory upgrade for Lenovo 3000 V200 - only 2Gb seen :(

    I bought 2 Transcend DDR2 800 SO-DIMM modules 2Gb each to upgrade memory on Lenovo 3000 V200 notebook.
When I installed them, BIOS (and Windows) sees only 2Gb instead of 4Gb (i use x64 OS so no prob with OS here).
When I install one of new modules and original 1Gb that was in notebook initially - only 1Gb seen instead of 3.
I already checked that all memory modules are OK, both memory slots (if used only one) are OK too.
But when both slots used together only lowest volume memory module is seen.
BIOS update to latest awailable (6th release, ...60WW) didn't help.
In specification stated that this model support up to 4Gb memory but I can't force it to support even 3Gb, only 1 or 2.
Is it possible to do something in this situation?

Probably the Transcend memory is not compatible, it does happen.

  • Memory upgrade on 3000 V200

I want to upgrade my memory on 3000 V200 up to 4GB if possible. I got 32-bit version of  Windows 7 and according to Lenovo website it says: " Windows Vista supports up to 4GB maximum memory (32-bit versions of Windows Vista cannot support 4GB). Windows XP supports up to 3GB maximum memory"
So my question is does anyone knows if this applies to Win7 as well? Thanks

32 bit operation systems don't support 4 gb ram. if you want to use 4 gb of ram, you also need to upgrade your windows to 64 bit.

  • I have a MacBook Pro 15" 2.53GHz Mid2009.. updated to Lion which is now 10.7.3 build 11D50b... when I close lid and connect to Cinema Display, display will not activate... disconnect display, open lid laptop display will not activate... used to work fine.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" 2.53GHz Mid2009.. updated to Lion which is now 10.7.3 build 11D50b... when I close lid and connect to Cinema Display, display will not activate when keyboard/mouse used... disconnect display, open lid and laptop display will not activate... only way out is hold power button.  Worked fine before Lion update.   Any Advice?

Thanks very much Coander15... I've printed the doc you pointed me towards and I'll run through it.. hoping it helps!
Before I installed Lion I simply hit any key on the keyboard or clicked the mouse...
The keyboard is USB (usually connected to monitor which is connected to laptop... have tried direct connect to laptop as well with no luck) and mouse is USB wireless to one of those tiny plug in's... have tried direct connect USb mouse as well with no luck.
I could plug the closed/sleeping laptop into the monitor and unplug from the monitor without incident all day/night... always worked fine.
Had heard something about this happening w/ Lion but went ahead anyway.
    Oh well...
Hoping your pointer helps... will let you know how it turns out.  Thanks very much for responding!!!

My macbook wont shut down when I close lid, how do I prevent this?
This had happened before and I seem to recall having to disable blue tooth.
    Is this correct?
    Charles

It's not suppose to shut down when closing the lid, it's supposed to sleep.
