3109 can't connect to PC Suite

I am on my third 3109 and have always used PC Suite, no problems with the others.  The latest one I have named the same (bluetooth) as before and set to visible.  I have connected it and paired to my laptop, as I always do.  Then when I search for devices in PC Suite - I see 2 phones called silvercue.  One says it needs to be connected, but is greyed out and the other says it needs to be connected and authorised and is greyed out.
I have restarted the phone and PC Suite - always the same.  I can't connect, when the phone is, or is not connected to the laptop.
What is wrong?  This is the same process I have always used with identical handsets and always used the same phone name with no issues.

I have some problems with the connection but in this moment, I am working "well".
First: Please use the Driver included in the CD with the Original Cable. Not use the driver downloaded from the site.
Second: When you connect the cable in the phone, you will received a error message, ignore it, wait near one minut and you see a message "Nokia 6103 is connected" in your PC
Third: To disconnect the phone, first go to "Admin Conecctions" in the Nokia PC Suite and unheck "Serial Cable (CA-42)", when you received a message of desconnectio, you can unplug the cable from the phone.

    Testing the connection results in the following error:

    Hi,
    may be you have to use ODI to read JMSQ and to put data to BAM11gTP4 because it does not work with SOA10g. Alternative you can use WebServces to publish BAM11g Dataobjects.

  • Can't connect using PC Suite 6.8.3

    My PC is using Windows XP SP2. I've installed PC Suite 6.8.3 & every time I try to connect either using infra red or bluetooth I keep getting the bubbles telling me my phone has been found, plus two others to do with my phone being detected.
    My phone keeps loosing connection & these 3 messages just keep cycling. I can't stop them & it eats processor power. The only way to stop it is to restart my PC. I can never get passed this.
    I used to use an older version of PC suite which was ok, but since I got my replacement 6230i I've installed the new version of PC Suite & now constantly have issues (i did have major problems installing it in the first place).
    I have tried removing the app & restarting several times but no good!

    And that is that Ovi Suite can't seem to recognize my X3-00.
    I can access the phone via "My Computer => Portable Devices => Nokia(the phone's name)", which means that it can''t be the USB-cable

    I had the same problem with my E75, with the earlier OVI 2.2.0.242, that the synchronizing only work for som of the components.I saw not my own phone icon only a normal one. Then upgrade to 2.2.0.245 and follow the process when driver for the cabel was installed, what I saw was in the driver cable install windows all the different things was installed then OVI was synchronizing and found everything.
    My opinion is that You have to try to get the cable driver to be installed in the right way
    (PC has windows vista, the driver installing could also be on the Vista side, my XP work ok without problem.

    I'm trying to update my N95 with a new firmware and that request to update Ovi.
    After the update I can't login to Ovi in order to update.
    There's any problem that Ovi software can't connect or something else.

    I have the same problem on pc in the office. I uninstalled and installed the old ovi suite 2, but it dosn`t work. When You connect Your phone it will do, but connect to Your Ovi account through the telefone. I havn`t got any answer until today.
    I use Nokia 5230, want to connect to my Ovi account also, when the phone isnt connected to the pc. I hope, we will got a resolution.
    By installing the old Ovi suite there are only problems with winxp, it dosn`t work really. Thank everyone for help or answer. philipp

    Ths is a shot in the dark, but if you're using a USB cable, you might need to install
    Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver_eng.msi
    Apparently later versions of PC Suite shouldn't need it, but my experience suggests otherwise.

  • Ovi Suite can't connect to Server

    Hi,
    I'm trying to update the software on my new E5.
    I have a MacBook Pro.  There seems to be no way of updating my phone that is OSX compatible, so I am now running Windows XP(SP3) under parallels.  Have installed Ovi Suite and it starts the update process but then can't connect to the server to verify my login.  
    I can access internet using IE on this windows set-up, so I think it is an issue with the Ovi software, not the computer.
    Can anyone please help?

  • Can't connect Nokia 6360 phone with PC Suite

    I upgraded the free 6085 from AT&T to a free Nokia 6350.  I have the USB cable to connect my phone to my Win XP PC  and was looking forward to transferring ring tones, etc to my new phone.  Unfortunately, I can't get the PC to communicate witht eh phone.
    When I connect, the PC recognizes new hardware but I can't get the PC suite or Nokia phone browser to recognize my phone.  I checked out the Nokia support page and they don't even list the 6350, despite the  user manual saying PC suite will work with the phone.  I've gotten no reply twice from Nokia's email support and am getting frustrated.

  • Nokia Suite: Can't connect to Service (Nokia C5-05...

    I updated Nokia Suite with the new version 3.4.49 recently and after that I am not able to install any app from Nokia Ovi store. Whenever I click "Download via PC", the Nokia Suite gives the error "Can't connect to service".
    Please refer to the attached image.
    How to resolve the issue?

    Copied from a member of the Nokia Developer Team. It worked for me.
    "This problem can be also because of expired certificates that you have on your computer.
    To remove the problematic certificates, do the following:
    On your computer, open Control Panel and click Internet Options.
    In the Internet Properties window, select the Content tab, and click Certificates.
    In the Certificates window, select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab.
    To sort the certificates, click the Expiration Date column header.
    Select any GTE CyberTrust certificates that have their expiration date in the past. You should be left with one GTE CyberTrust certificate that is valid.
    Click Remove and, when asked for confirmation, click Yes.
    After the expired certificates have been removed, please restart Nokia Suite and try signing into your Nokia account again"

    Nokia suite 3. 4. 49 can't connect to server. Says to check the internet connection and if that's not the case, to wait because the service may be unavailible just now. However it has not been working for 4 days now. Please help.

    Disable Windows firewalls and see if that makes any difference ...
    There is no other way to download applications from Nokia Store unless you are doing it directly thru' the Store client on your Phone ... Else, you may have to download applications directly from Developers' site if available there ...

    You have to put your phone on pc mode then open the pc and click on settings the folow the instroctions to make a VPN and your network pasword after that you can use usb to connect to web,if you dont have the info of your network ,you can find it under the menue>conecctivity>network also you call to your service provider and ask for VPN and etg,,,,,,
    there is anouther way to connect to web , is to use JOIKUSPOT.COM their free 3G apps of WIFI ,its up to you which one you like to use .R

  • Loss 3D graphics and can't connect to external display with NVIDIA card

    I note this morning that the graphics in 3D mode of iWork (version 4.1 with system 10.6.8) no longer appears in all software suite. The 2D graphics are displayed perfectly. I also notice I can't connect an external display when I am on NVIDIA card but work well with Intel card.
    The 3D graphics are printed but not displayed on the screen (it also appear inthe thumbnail). It seems to be a worry to display.
