3109 Classic - Can I change main screen?

Just got a 3109 Classic and getting to grips with it!
One thing that I would like help with it the main screen:
It has 4 icons across the top (Calendar, Web, My Items and media)
- How can I access these?
- Can I change them?
Below that are some 'notes'
- Can I prevent these from being displayed?
Have looked through manual and, so far, not found the answers - hope someone here can help!

You need to customise active standby to change these settings.
Page 24 of the user guide tells you where to find active standby.

Agentry: Trigger action when changing main screen tab

Hi,
I'm adapting Work Manager for iPad and in my main screen I have 4 tab screens: Work Orders, Notifications, Time Sheets and Crew Manager.
I would like to trigger a List Selection action step when the user navigates to the Time Sheets tab in order to select the current day of the week automatically. I already created and tested the action with a button and it's working fine but I don't find a way to trigger an action when changing main screen tabs.
Here my main screen:
In the screen definition there is not much I can define... just the icon, size and styling...

Regarding Bill suggestions I think there are too many possible actions in the main screen where to apply the selection step.
And to apply Jason's workaround I need to do a major UI change and user's are too familiar now with the solution that has been in production for a while...
I think I will set the date after transmit. It won't work on the initial load and when user manually selects a different day and comes back to the tab, but I think it will cover more than 90% of application uses since they are supposed to synchronise every morning and register time for the current date usually.

Yes. Use an iPhone browser, such as iExplorer, to access your iPhone's file system. The screensaver photos are stored here;
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleTV.framework/DefaultAnimalPhotos
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleTV.framework/DefaultFlowerPhotos
Once you locate these files, you can replace the photos with your own or add more to the folders. Do not change the name of the the folder.

Is the screen-rotation lock on? If it is then there is a padlock shown in the upper right by the battery icon. To turn off double click the Home button and fully swipe the bottom row fully right past the music controls and tap the padlock.

Can't Change Lock Screen Background Image and User Account Picture in Windows 8.1.

I am running Windows8.1 Single Language with windows activated. Upgraded from Window 8 to Windows 8.1.
Lenovo Y410p.
4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB) with 16GB RAM.
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT750M 2GB .
I tried all methods that I found on web included :

First of all, please run the command slmgr.vbs /dlv
After that, check the License status if it is licensed.
Is there any error message when you couldn't change lock background or this option just grey out?

Apple does not replace parts. Again, they replace the iPad. Replacing parts yourself voids the warranty. Not sure when you bought it.

Home button frozen can't change the screen

my home button is frozen 99% of the time so I can't change screens. anybody else have this problem on their iphone? this started before i even updated to icloud. i've turned it off/on/toggled, etc. no luck.

I am trying to find a way to change the screen saver for my apple tv while I stream my music. Anyone have a solution? Besides my photos, can i show the awesome equilizer? Or can I show the album artwork screensaver that the macs have? I feel like this feature is much needed on the Apple TV while I stream my music to the Apple TV 2nd generation!

you may want to try using a feature called Airplay Mirroring to show whatever you'd like on the screen while your music is playing. We have a couple of articles about that online that can tell you more information about Airplay Mirroring. How can i change the screen name in my icould account?

my Apple ID used to have my Dad's name because of the billing issues.. now is changed again to have my name, but i keep seeing that my account on icloud.com still says my dad's name, so if i try to send an email through there it says my dad's name and my email address instead of my name...
how can i change the name that appears linked to my icloud account? (note that as i already sayd my Apple ID has my name now, i jsut want to know why is not my name in my icloud account?)

I believe it can be changed by going to https://appleid.apple.com/, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in with your iCloud ID, select "Name, ID and Email Addresses", then click "Edit" next to the name listed under "Your Name" and change it as desired.
Also, if you are trying to change the sender name for your iCloud email account, you'll want to go to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done. Then quit Mail (Command-Q) on your Mac and re-open it. Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.
