32 bit version of Captivate

I am currently running 64 bit version of captivate 6 and my laptop is taking ages to preview my projects (about 45 seconds for an F10) and is generally really sluggish around the program. I am on windows 7, 64 bit with an Intel Celerion 2.19 GHZ CPU and 4 G of RAM. Do I need more processing power? Would downgrading to the 32 bit version help speed things up - or is that not an option!

Hi Mark,
Does it happen to a specific project only, I would advise you to check if it is being run from you Local C drive, if not already.
Also, try clearing your project cache for Captivate under Documents as well as your temp files.
Yes, you can try downloading 32 bit version to see if that solves your problem.

64-bit version of Photoshop Elements & Premier Elements 13

Yesterday I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements 13 at an Office Depot Store. I was finally able to download and install the Premier Elements. The Photoshop Elements 13 will download, but it will not install. Near the end of the 35-minute installation (which I have done 8 times) I get a message saying it will not install and that I need the 64-bit version. There was not an option for the 32 or 64 bit versions when I made the download. How can I get the 64-bit version without paying for the product again?

I installed a 32 bit instead of the 64 bit version of the photoshop premiere product, it currently will not open, what should i do?

should I uninstall the 32 bit version?

normally both versions will install on a 64 bit system (and both should work).
make sure there's no antivirus/antimalware program interfering with startup and, if needed, uninstall and reinstall,

On install I get message to install 64 bit version and that's what I have

I have reinstalled Itunes newest version about 5 times and each time I have a different problem. This time it installed OK, but when I plug in my Iphone to sync I get a message that I need to install the 64 bit version--but that's what I have installed. I'm running Windows 7. Itunes 11.1.4.62

Cloud-based version of Captivate?

Is a cloud-based version of Captivate available?
Or at least web-based / fully online?
I'm looking for e-learning authoring software that you don't need to install on individual machines.

I don't think there is an online version which is a bit logical, considering the way CP works. Lectora is different, especially suited for courses with more static content such as text, images, etc. You can use Lectora as a shell in which you drop p.e. I downloaded the 64 bit version of Photoshop and I need the 32 bit and I cannot download it

I downloaded the 64 bit version and it says my computer cannot support that. Dealing with your layers of customer service is frustrating and at this point I am going to shop the credit card payment for this product. I want my money back.

How to install iTunes 12 64-bit version?

I have a laptop on Windows 8.1. Previously I had iTunes 10 32-bit version for awhile. It was reliable most of the times (sometimes the program freezes when playing/pausing songs etc.) but decided to upgrade to iTunes 12 64-bit version so that it would hopefully resolve that issue. I have downloaded from the official Apple website which states it's the 64-bit version but when I install it onto my PC, it is just the 32-bit version. How can I change it to 64-bit or is there an option to select it to 64-bit during installation?

You can't arbitrarily select which version to install - you must use the installer that's compatible with the release/edition of Windows that you are using. You may be seeing the consequences of the fact that the 64-bit version of iTunes is not *completely* 64 bit - the main application is still 32 bit and will therefore, on a 64 bit system, be installed in the Program Files (x86) folder. Other components are, however, required for correct operation with a 64-bit version of Windows. If you download iTunes from the primary source (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) scripts on Apple's webpage will detect the architecture of your PC and only offer the correct version for it ... though there is some anecdotal evidence that those scripts may fail for some users, and you may need to go directly to the relevant downloads:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe

How to install 64-bit version on 64-bit OS

I am trying to install Labview 2011 SP1 Evaluation on Windows 7 64-bit OS. When I go to choose the isntallation directory it automaticaly points me to the 32-bit compaibility folder "Program Files (x86)". I believe this isntall the 32-bit version of Labview. I want to install the 64-bit version. How can I do this?

You got it mixed up here. Microsoft decided that Program Files is always meant to mean the native version, which means that for Windows 64 bit, any 64 Bit applications get installed there. Program Files (x86) is for 32 Bit applications that will run inside the Win32 subsystem in Win64. Most NI Toolkit and driver installers only install into 32 Bit. So if you use LabVIEW 64 Bit you will usually have to copy the files from the Program Files (x86) directory into the according Program Files directory, making sure you maintain the same hierarchy.

Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6 - default to 64-bit version

I have Adobe Bridge CS6 32-bit and 64-bit installed. I prefer to use the 64-bit version, but whenever I right-click a folder in Windows Explorer and choose 'Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6', the 32-bit version always opens. How can I make this default to the 64-bit version? There doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall the 32-bit version.

Edit your System Registry on:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\Bridge
Change the path that is pointing at 32bit version and set it to point at the location of 64bit version:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS6 (64 Bit)\Bridge.exe "%L"
