321 Movement type

Hi,
How do I know the date of the movement type 321 for the material?

Dear Varsha,
Use report MB51 or MB59 by entering the material,plant and movement type as the input.
After executing you can find the date along with the material.document no's.

In our case If user has done wrong production entry for a Particular inspection lot & it has also cleared by quality, how to reverse this i tried for removing Inspection Type Tick & do 322 movement type but as stocks are lying in quality for the material so we cannot remove the tick,It gives the error message as below

To deactivate QM, the inspection stock for the
material must be empty
Please guide how to handle this issue

Hi,
You can do following things --
1. First reverse all the production order with movement type 521
2. then with that all your goods movement will get reversed.
3. Mass closing of production order/TECO of production order.
4. after this create fresh Production order.
5. then you do rest of the operations.

Material document cannot be processed
Message no. M7130
Diagnosis
This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System Response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.

Automatic TO Creation and Confirm for the 321 Mvt type

Hello Experts,
Like to know the customisation invovlved for automatic TO creation and confirmation for the 321 movement type in which QM is activated.
I have already activated in OMKZ as below
1.Automatic TO for 321 mvt ytpe
2.TO item to be confirmed immediately
3.Propose confirmation
Table T333 -AUTTA
          T333-SQUIT &
          T333-VQUIT is activated.
Please let me know any other settings to be performed

I am trying to create the Automatic TO and TO confirmation for the mvt type 321.
I made the below settings
I have activated in OMKZ as below

Table T321-TBFKZ Immediate TO Creation with "A"
T321-TAFKZ TR creation with "X"
After doing the settings i am not able to see the Posting change number in the Material document created for the mvt type 321.
Please let me know how to create the Posting chnage notice for the material document and how to convert the Posting change notice to automatic TO and confirmation.

Material to Material transfer with movement type 321

Dear Experts,
Material to material transfer with movement type 309, the system create a price difference account if price control "S"
but we transfer material to material with movement 321 (quality ), no price didderence account is generated, system showing different document
Exp--- Material "A" with STD price 150
Material "B" with STD price 100
document is created
Material A A/c. Credit 100
Material B A/c. Dr. 150
My question is, the price difference where is adjusting, is finance and costing books of account will effect.
Kindly help to solve the issue

Dear Wasim,
321 movement is to transfer the stock of a material lying in quality to unrestricted stock.
It's not used for material to material transfer.
Check and revert back.

Linking between movement type 101 & 321

Hi All,
We prepare the GRN against the Purchase order vide movement type 101, this material is lying for Quality inspection in same plant and storage location
After Quality Inspection we are transferring this material from Quality Inspection to unrestricted stock in same plant and storage location with movement type 321
Now we want to link Purchase Order with 101 (which are there) and also with movement type 321 can any body tell us how to go for this. Here we are interesting in linking Purchase Order GRN (101) Goods Transfer (321).

Hello Vinayak,
As I understand when u do the receipt against PO using 101 mvt, it will ask for a batch number and will receive the goods in quality inspection. After u use 321 to move the godds from QI to unrestricted u would give the batch number again so ineffect for linking PO->101->321 u need to use batch number to link. Get the PO numbers from EKBE table and get related 101 from the same. use MSEG table to connect using PO material and batch number.

Movement Type 321/322 for Quality Inspection in warehouse

Hi Experts,
I have stock of 950 To in Leanwarehouse in plant. I wanted to move 50 TO material or Quality Inspection to same leanwarehouse 0001 by movement type 321 but it throw error
Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp 11 TO : 1727 4040 0001
In MMBE I saw the stock for the same material. Why there is an error? It is also not blocked.
While I tried with movement type 322 it got accepted.
Can anyone explaing the reasons for this I shall appreciate.

Movement Type Change From 321 to Some other In Stock Posting (Insp Type 05)

Hi,
    While doing the stock Posting From quality to Unrest - Automatic 321 Movment type is happening
    But my client neads to identify how many qty from custmer return is passed to unrestricted from
    quality.
   i have problem in identify since 01 and 04 and also 05 all are having the same mvt since it is automatic
Can it be possible to chnage the mvt for the particular Inspection type 05.
kindly give me is there any way to solve this issue.

Dear jaikumar
No need of changing movement type for the same. You have too many options to get this fugure
You can use Tcode se16, se16n and in the table QALS you will be able to know the quantity posted to unrestricted by selecting 05 inspection and from to date in input for the table view
else go to the standard report . Tcode MCXC, MCXI you will get the report based on inspection type and period

Regardin a postatl change wen movement type 321 is done

The PST CHANGE documents that SAP creates when the 321 movement is done.
It seems that if there is more than 1 bin or if there is a 903 RECFOREIGN, or a 901 (for local receipts), the PST CHANGE does not know which storage type to select. what is the solution for this.

if you putaway Q-stock before the quality usage decision is taken, then you may need to select the quants manually when processing the posting change notice.

Before Movement type 321, 322 should be created?

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me that before creating movement type 321 for material. Movement type 322 should be created?
I am trying to create movement type 321 for material through MB1B, but its giving me error "Deficit Quantity" I dont understand what is the exact problem.
Please anybody can help me on this. any docs, tutorials will also be helpful.
I searched old threads in SDN, but couldnt find a exact solution.

even with 1 quantity its giving the same error.
Deficit of BA Stck.in qual.insp 1 EA : 16289 1100 WHMC BAT111
321 is movement type to move goods from quality to unrestricted and
322 is movement type to move goods from unrestricted to qualityright??
so, for moving stock from quality to unrestricted there should be enough stock available in quality.
I think before 321 we should do 322 if there is not enough stock
am i right??

Auomatic TO creation and confirmation from PCN with 321 MVT type

Dear Friends,
I am facing following WM issue, Kindly go through it and reply me with your valuable solution.
In my plant QM is active, so while receiving goods against any Purchase Order (MVT TYPE 101), all my stock goes to quality. After UD check, 99% material move to unrestrictd stock (321 mvt.type) and 1% used for quality (331 mvt. type).
For an example if I have received 1000 kg material (which initially goes to quality), after UD 995 kg material come to unrestricted stock and 5 kg used for quality check.
In my existing system for material document with mvt. type 321, one PCN is generated in the background, and using LT05 we make TO from PCN and confirm it.
But is it posible to create the TO and confirm from the PCN (Mvt. 321) in the backgroung itself, i mean to say that while my QM user is doing UD, material document with mvt 321, one PCN and TO will be generated and TO will be confirmd in the background itself.
I don't want to use LT05 separetely to make TO from PCN.
Please reply me soon.

You need to make the config settings here in ur system.
SPRO > Logistics execution > WM > Interfaces > Inventory Management > Activate Automatic TO Creation
Assign the relevent setting to movement types...

QM Quality Module - error in transfer insp to blocked via move type 350

QM Notification - Additional Functions in Action bar - error in Insp to blocked (movement type 350)
We are trying to implement the movement of goods from inspection to
blocked stock through QM. We have added an item to the action bar and
are using movement type 350.
We have implemented several inventory transactions via the action bar in Quality notifications. All the transactions work except this one. We get the message "Must change Inspection Quantity in QM system". This is Movement type 350. The Inspection to Free (Movement type 321) works fine, as do Blocked to Inspection (type 349) and Free to Inspection (320).
Has anyone encountered and resolved this?

You cannot run this FM as QM stock can be moved only by QA11 tcode. You may try to create a BDC to post the material

What Is a Movement Type?
When you enter a goods movement in the system, you must enter a movement type to differentiate between the various goods movements. A movement type is a three-digit identification key for a goods movement. The following table contains examples of movement types.
