OK so I'm a bit embarrassed to post this as at first glance it might appear to be a bit of a beginners question but for some reason i cannot re-install yahoo go. i discovered that the messenger shortcut had vanished from the phone so i decided to delete the yahoo go app and re-install it. but i just get the above message every time. i have deleted everything yahoo related plus a couple of other files but still nothing. I've even formated a spare memory card but still i cannot re-install the app.
the memory card is 256 MB with 50MB free
the phones memory (c drive) 1869 KB
the yahoo go app is 1.754MB
as i only store contact details (about 200) on the phone, i cannot work out why its memory is so low but as I'm trying to put the yahoo app back on the memory card surely this shouldn't affect anything? i have used fexplorer to try find whats going on and I've compressed the memory but no joy.
can anyone help??

Hello,
I'm having this same problem... But innitialy the phone does not have the Memory Card. I install a new one (128MB) and the message still appears.
I have deleted all messages, all contacts, all files, everything that I was able to delete, and the message still appears!!!
How can I RESET the phone to its default, or fix this problem?

do you have some apps installed on the phone memory istelf. there are some apps that will only install on the phone and not the memory card. is your firmware up to date? did you add anything new, try also removing some of the messages from the memory card and all the folders, send, inbox, outbox if applicable and see if this will make any difference.

Your products listed are 10.6.7 ... and that IS Snow Leopard. So why do you need to buy it again.
In terms of latest updates ... Go to Systems prefs > Software update > Installed software. That will tell you what software has already been downloaded. What your computer is telling you is that all the software relating to your current OS is up to date.

You very likely have a second gen ipod touch.

i deleted all of the messages in inbox and in memory card. i also tried *#7370#. stil the memory is full. i check the phone memory status everytime i delete the messages and it will show available memory for about 30kb. when i restart the phone and check the phone memory, it will indicate that it has 0 kb left. i didn't installed any application in it.

i don't remember seeing your name in the thread above, and i don't remember you TELLING me before that you don't want to format.

N70 - Not Enough Memory Delete some data first

Hi,
Could someone please help with a problem that i am having with N70. Messages Empty(All Folders) and no images or media files on the phone memory, al applications also are on the Memory card(1GB and 3/4th of it is free). But still i am getting this message of "Not Enough Memory to eprform the Operation. Delete some data first". Could someone please advise what i could do to resolve this, as now i do not have any log of Calls(missed, rec, dialled), no incoming messages etc.

It could be a few things.. Try this on your phone..
Open this link on your phone

Choose to save this file. Save it in the documents folder on your phone
Now, open an x terminal and type in this command exactly
sh MyDocs/.documents/debug2.sh
It will take a LONG time to finish.. but when it stops, connect your phone to your PC and browse the storage.. you'll find a file called debug2.txt.. Drop that in an email to me (check you personal messages for my email address) and I'll have a look

Memory Full. Delete some data

I am trying to delete some data because of the message I get when switching on my Nokia 3230.
The message says : "Home Screen: Memory insufficient. Delete some data first"
However, I cannot access the MENU/File Manager/Options by pressing the Menu key.

If the phone is unusable then unfortunately the only options you have are a hard reset or a trip to a nokia care point. Both will result in the total loss of all data and content that you have added to the phone.
Hard reset:
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
3. While holding these buttons, hold the power button for a second to switch on the phone.
4. Release when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.
It may take a few attempts and very flexible fingers.

If they were deleted from your camera roll that should have resulted in a corresponding decrease in the estimated size of your next backup.
If it's still saying that you don't have enough storage to back up, read through this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4847. It provides some suggestions for reducing your iCloud storage, such as deleting unneeded email.
The other area to look at is your text messages. These are included in the backup. If you have lots of photos and videos attached to your messages, that can significantly increase the size of your backup. If that's the case, deleting these may make a big difference.

Well if you have 3 gigs of music that is taking up half right there. Pictures and videos also take up a lot of space as well. Another thing is texts are saved on the phone. Try deleting them but texts don't nomally take up a lot of space.

After having the Treo 755p device for only a week, I am receiving a message "The free data storage space on the device is low. Some data could not be saved." My problems are similar to Lauren, but backwards. For months now I have had problems with my Treo 755 reseting randomly. Sometimes during calls, sometimes while typing, sometimes while just sitting in the holster. As many as a dozen a day and then not at all for 2 weeks, no rhyme nor reason. This Free Space error though is brand new to me today and quite strange. The error is showing up when I bring my phone out of "sleep". I press the end button to sleep the phone and everything is fine. When I press it again to wake the phone up the error is sitting behind the keylock waiting for me.
Obviously I have done nothing yet for this new memory error, but I've tried everything for the reseting. Deleting software, Soft and hard resets, software updates, everything I and Sprint support can think of. With this new Free space error now I am going to just take it to a service center and demand a new phone. I think there is some kind of hardware error as I have done nothing in the programming. No new programs, no deleted programs, no changed settings.
I loved my Treo 650 and never had any problems with it. I am getting very disappointed in Palm now though with these ridiculous problems.

Just to change a bit of terminology in the reply, within the mapping, click on operator properties and choose TRUNCATE/INSERT.
Note that truncate is dependent on constraints, so you probably must disable those before doing this. You can of course do DELETE/INSERT...

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

Hi, I am trying to delete some aps, but the delete "x" does not come up when the ap is pressed. Anyone know how to fix. Also, my ipod is turning off on its own and won't power back on unless I plug it in although it is fully charged.

For the apps:
- You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod
- Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if there is the Restrictions set that prevents deleting apps
