3560 switch status showing as amber

Hi,
In 3560 24 port PoE switch status is showing as amber and i given the sh env all command in the swiych i got the following output. Please help me to resolve the issue.
The ouput as follows.
3560#sh env all
FAN is FAULTY
TEMPERATURE is FAULTY
POWER is OK
RPS is NOT PRESENT.

Hie Ram,
I guess the fan has gone faulty and hence switch is heating up. I would suggest to replace the fan immediately and keep the switch off till then.

The trunk ports are working just fine. I have configured all necessary remote management with no issues. However, my access ports are not working. I have set them up exactly the same as the adjacent switch A and it works just fine, but the same configuration on the new switch has not been able to pull IP information. I have provided information as to how the switch access ports are configured on both Switch A (working) and Switch B (not working).  I should note that I tried this with a Cisco 7940 phone and it got stuck on "configuring IP" then I tried it with my laptop and it pulled a 169 IP address. Both were direct connections into switch B. When I run a show mac-address-table, neither device shows up in the table. Only the gig port MACs. Any thoughts? Please let me know if you need any more information.

It looks like you're guiding me in the right direction. I did a "show port security interface fa0/2" on the new switch and nothing was out of the ordinary with the exception of the 0 MAC addresses learned. But then I did a "show spanning tree vlan 224" Here's what I found:

So with this new information, and with my trunk configurations above, what did you mean by a disconnect on the trunk?

1142N NON_CISCO-NO_CDP_RECEIVED with 3560 switch

I thought the 3560 switches, the 8 port and 24 port are 802.3af standard switches? When I connect 1142N radios to them I get the no cdp error and the radios are disabled. I have 17 of these that I converted to LAP, and I got the issue both before and after upgrading to LAP from AP. It's not like I disabled CDP on the switches.

I may have found the problem. I thought I had initially connected to a switchport that was just setup as a switchport access vlan, with no other configurations on it, and after looking at the port found it was a trunk port, which should work, and does for the other AP's I worked with, but not the 1142N.
I took one of the other AP's that is connected to the test switch I am using to setup the WLC and AP's and connected that to one of the unconfigured ports, with default settings and the radios both powered up and I saw CDP neighbor detail,
I removed spanning-tree portfast from the trunk port, and reconnected the AP to that port, I saw it negotiated full power, but I dont see neighbor information. I had to console in and do a no shut on dot11radio 0 for it to come up on all 3 of them.
I went back and pulled that new one out of the box and reconnected to the interface I used before after removing portfast, still had the same problem, then removed the trunk configuration, and rebooted. Now I see

Why would radio 0 be admin down? It is enabled on the WLC. I went into the AP and did a no shut on it too. Not sure what is going on with this, never ran into this sort of issue before.

Some 2950 switch ports led turn amber even without cable connection

Hello. Due to a likely NIC problem, after connecting my laptop to a port on the 2950 switch, the led turns amber even after disconnecting the cable.
2 ports on the switch are having this problems. Ideally the led should be off when nothing is connected.
Please, how can I correct this problem without restarting the switch because its in a production environment.

Hello,
which two switchports are amber? Try toggling the port LED modes by pressing the mode button.
Have a look at

for the different port modes meanings and their respective usage of port LEDs.
It would also be helpful to see the port status from the switch CLI in case the procedure above didn´t solve the problem.

The CISCO-ENVMON-MIB is a good one to look at for these types of queries:

My airport time capsule did not set up successfully, and then status light flash amber

I am the first time user of the time capsule, please help how to proceed?
I have set up the first time and my airport time capsule does not set successfully, then I try to reset to factory setting. After this, although I use the ethenet cable to connect the router to the airport, the status light flash amber, always, even after the reset.
Also, I can see that airport time capsule base station from the wireless network when airport is plugged in. However, when I want to access to it.

Purchase Order has approved but Status show as Unapproved

Dear All Experts,
I have a Purchase Order need to go throught approval procedure. The Purchase Order has approved by user and add into system and printed out. When second time, open the same Purchase Order, the status show "Unapproved" but the Purchase Order windows header name show Purchase Order [Approved], this make user unable to copy to GRPO. I have try to restore stored procedures in SAP B1, it does not make any changes. The user is using SAP B1 2007A SP0 PL49. Please Advise.

the purchase order once approved has to be added on to the system after approval if u say that u have added the purchase order after it got approved then that seems to be a concern for that u need to contact ur sap partner or if u are a partner then u need to get in touch with sap to resolve the isssue as it could be because of problem with ur database
but before that please be sure off that u are using the correct way and have sucessfully added the documnt apon approval.

Sale order status showing being processed

Dear Friends,
I am working in SAP ECC 6.0
My sale order Qty is 10 pcs eing processed
and delivery qty is 10 pcs - Completed
Good Issue - 10 Pcs - Completed
Invoice - 10 Pcs - Completed
In spite of carrying out full delivery sale order status is still showing being processed.
is there any configuration missing or is there any program to update the status.

2 Doubts i have:
1)
In our case for the Item Category we have not maintained anything in Completion Rule however we have maintained Update Document Flow in Order to Delivery Copy Control.
Our Document status shows as Completed in this case as well. Hence i do not know the Significance of maintaining Completion rule in item category.
2) I have a order type which has Order Relevant Billing. The Copy Control for Order to Billing does not have any Update Document Flow Check Box. We are using a Service Material in this Order Type.
After creating the Billing we still have Order status as Being Processed.
Can you help in finding a solution to the above?

I my client created sales order with 100000.700 ton and with 42 Piratical delivery document with different dates and 42 billing document and clear accounting documents
But the problem is Sales order status showing as Being Processed
I check all delivery documents if was showing total quantity delivers and i check copy controls OR to ZLF Updated document flow is there
and i Item category TAN don't not having completion rule
My question is it is mandatory to maintain Completion rule in item category
The Problem With Only One sales order it showing Being Processed, rest of sales document Showing completed
Do we need to Updated Status manually ?
Can any one guide me what could be a Problem

Has anyone upgraded the Ironport ESA to 8.5.6-074 and had the issues of Raid status showing unknown? After we upgraded our appliances we are having issues with our ESA appliances showing the RAID status as unknown. When we reported the issue to CISCO we were updated there were no issues reported at all. Could anyone please confirm if you have experienced the same issue.

There are times post-reboot, that you'll see and get notification of RAID sub-optimal --- meaning that the appliance is running through on a health-check of the appliance's RAID. You should be getting a notification once RAID status has returned to OPTIMAL, or as per the older OS revisions, READY:

Please Check the Billing Document its Transfer Status must have been Indicating Not Transferred to R3,Since the Order has Errors in it the Billing Document, Error Order's does not replicate to R3 so the Sales Order need to be made Error Free and Then try to Repost the Billing it shall get Transferred to R3.
Please Suggest the error in Sales Order for Further Help

How to read USER1 DIP-switch status of a cRIO chassis from FPGA?

How can I read the status of the DIP switches on a cRio chassis from the FPGA?
I am working with a cRIO 9022.. My idea is to set the system into a "service" mode by setting the USER1 switch to ON and communicate with the FPGA via the FPGA-GUI(VI) on the host computer instead via the RT module which is used under normal conditions.
Any ideas? Unfortunately, I do not have an unused channel left ...and (as far as I know) can't use the RS232 from the FPGA.

Hi, this is the correct information. You cannot read from the FPGA the DIP switch status. The only thing you could do is to use the Read Switch.vi function located under Functions -> Real Time -> RT utilities palette
This is how you probably know only for the RT Host side and not the FPGA.

Machine status shows unkown in VM manager

i got 2 server pools in the oraclel vm manager.
poolA & poolBpoolB displays everything perfectly but poolA machine status shows unknown.
Machine in poolA are running currently & i can connect to them from network but cant control machine behaviour from Oracle vm manager as its showing status "unknown" in oracle vm. i cant start/shutdown the machine from Oracel vm manager.
from command line using oracle sql promt i shutdown the machines & restarted it again & status had changed in oracle vm manager.
but today morning again same thing happened.
any help is appreciated.

Switch for showing my telephonenumber locked

The switch for showing my number is locked. My iPhone shows unknown number when I call someone. I think it has something to do with my iCloud account. I tried to put my SIM card into another iPhone and my number showed. So I got a new iPhone and downloaded my iCloud profile to the new iPhone and the same problem was back. I started this iCloud profile with a 3s iPhone with a diffrent telephone company and a diffrent telephone number. Any thoughts?

The carrier I'm using is connected to my office and several of my colleagues uses iCloud and doesn't have this problem.
I have my old mobile number divert to this number I'm using now. Can that cause this problem?

Airport Extreme Shows SOLID Amber light only after Powerup

This is a relatively new Airport Extreme (802.11n), bought from the Apple store. This morning, all of a sudden I had no internet access. I finally determined that it wasn't the cable or the modem, but the base station.
I have tried powering it down (unplugging it from the back) and even leaving it powered down for up to five minutes. When I plug it back in, it shows green, blinks once and then shows solid Amber.
Solid Amber is supposed to mean that it's starting up. Airport Utility does not recognize the base station at all. I've tried a hard reset, but it seems to have no effect. No blinking light or anything.
Am I screwed?

Bummer.
Make sure you turn off the Airport card when you hook up to it with Ethernet.
There's a small reset button on the back that you should hold down with a paperclip or pen. Restart and see if that clears it.
If that doesn't work, it looks like you need to take it to the nearest Apple store
