3D Application Support for SunRay

Hi,
<p>We are considering taking advantage of SunRay technology in our organisation (Engineering Construction) for its ability to hot desk, increased reliability, lower total cost of ownership and a host of other reasons.</p>
<p>The one limitation I have found with the SunRay is its inability to display 3D accelerated graphics for CAD applications.</p>
<p>Our use for 3D graphics is only occasional, to work out simple problems like pipe stab in's, 2D profiles of 3D objects, or view files from clients and suppliers. We don't require very intensive 3D capabilities, low end PC's suffice.</p>
<p>No modifications are required for the SunRay client to support 3D, instead the SunRay Server Virtual Frame Buffer could be modified to support 3D accelerated graphics using EGL with 3D OpenGL Hardware rendering performed by the Server.</p>
<p>3D support on the SunRay would free our organisation from PC's and their expensive total cost of ownership.</p>
<p>Sun would also need to support mulitple XVR-2500 frame buffers on their application servers, the last Visualisation server sold by Sun was the V880z.</p>

  • Where is my application support for iWeb?  I find no Library folder in my User area at all.

I need to transfer my iWeb site to my new Macbook Pro but cannot find any "Library" folder in my User area, hence no application support for iWeb and no domain.site to transfer.  How can I transfer my site?  Any help is appreciated.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1
    tell application "iWeb" to activate
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder.  So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

  • Missing application support for download

I have lost my itunes and have tried unsuccessfully several times to uninstall, following the steps given of the component programs with itunes, but now I receive a statement after reinstalling that says Error 2, missing apple application support.  How can I overcome this?  I have installed all updates with windows as well, and rebooted the computer each time.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Adobe PDF on Application Support for Leopard

    All,
Just came across this... LR on the list of "needing an update" so expect errors. The Photoshop forum is indicating errors on CS3 as well. Guess I'm holding off on the install for a little bit. Some of this to be expected I suppose, but hopefully fixed soon.

  • I need to download Apple Application Support package but have not found a site to facilitate that for a Windows 7 PCthis.

Experienced problems with Itunes and research had me delete several apps.  I have downloaded Itunes but now I need to download Apple Application support. I have tried a couple of addresses found on Google but got a lot of spyware and not what I wanted.  Where is a site that I can download Apple Application support for Windows 7 64 bit machine?

  • No iWeb in Application Support in Library -- so where's my iWeb file?

I have a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Imac. I’ve had it for a couple of years, and it’s been a great machine.
I just installed Leopard (no, not Snow Leopard -- Leopard, OS X 10.5.8), and the only reason I did that (I was happy with 10.4.11) is that I’ve been doing some Web pages in iWeb and I wanted to be able to have the multiple sites separated out for publication, so that I could upload individual sites, not all at the same time. For that, I needed iWeb ’09, and for that I needed Leopard.
Okay, the question: Where do my iWeb files (or file) reside? Under 10.4.11, I could find Domain in the Library, in the folder Application Support, and then in the iWeb folder. It was easy to make a copy of, or back-up. But, what’s freaking me out now is, the Application Support folder in the Library doesn’t even have an iWeb folder in it, and I can’t find Domain anywhere using Spotlight. There seems to be a folder in Application Support for every application -- except iWeb.
And yet, every time I open iWeb, it opens up all the stuff I’ve done most recently, without fail, so it must be getting itself saved somewhere. But where?
I’m desperate to back it up, for safety sake.
    Help, anyone?

    Heya,
You're most likely looking in the wrong place. The Domain file is located in the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder, not the system Library/Application Support folder. There's two Library folders which may be confusing. Again, your Domain file is located in the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. From Finder Press Shift/Control/H which will take you to your user Home folder. From there navigate to Library/Application/Support/IWeb and you should see your Domain file there.

The reason that the audio objects got bigger when inserting a plug or assigning a group is that the audio object is not "one" size" you can actually change the the size of an audio object! Drag it 4 times the size and you'll receive a grey big and ugly fader:-) Theres little "headroom" if you want the fader to lookk like you're used to but the size is actually variable:-)
Anyway it's great that the standard size is now not changing its size when instatiating:-)

  • BUG! Not system locale Filenames support for 32-bit applications error in Windows 8.1 x64 and other microssoft x64 OS-s.

BUG! Not system locale Filenames support for 32-bit applications error in Windows 8.1 x64.
All Windows x64 (XP,2003,2007,Vista,7,8) have no support for not system locale filenames|foldernames for all 32-bit applications. I think it is BUG!
For example,  it is possible to read files|folders with French or Chinese in English locale windows installed, rename it, but it is not possible open it, edit or delete. (ERRORS: File not found OR Unknown format)
With using 64-bit programs no such problems. How does it works and how can I fix this? Is it problem with encoding in translating kernel instructions for 32-bit apps in x64 Windows OS's? Whether there are
solutions to this problem OR some hacks|fixes?

    Hi,
Have you installed the language package for French or Chinese?
If no, please download the language package and install them.

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Method one which has already been described is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. Have a look at this article and see what you think and go for whichever you feel suits your needs best: How To Use Multiple iPods with One Computer
Another option when using a single library is to set one or both of the iPods to manual update: Managing content manually on iPod
Choosing the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod ( for example, around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB Mini or Nano). You can read more about playlists at these links:
iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
