3D bar charts export as jagged PDFs - how can I make them smooth?

I want to export my 3D bar charts as PDFs, but they export without anti-aliasing or smooth vector lines. The bars are jaggy, not clean. How can I make them higher quality?
I've checked my system settings and those in Acrobat 7 Professional, the 'smoothing' is turned on. I can't find any similar posts here either.
Any ideas?

Nevermind. I just renamed the folder on my mac and synced it again and everything is now in its proper place.

That got me closer, but I'm not quite there yet. On each ofthe two computers I've allowed all users File Sharing and Remote Management. Each computer has an address 192.168.1.2 (or 4). When I enter those addresses into "connect to server" the reponse is either 'drop box' or 'public folder'. So it seems that only very basic sharing is allowed. I have'nt set up a public folder on either one.

Get yourself two or more of the very intensely geeky books on streaming media. In this case, though, it's got nothing to do with your export or compression/encoding settings. It's all about how rapidly your server can send the file into the Internet when it called.

I don't know much about computers, so I don't know how this happened. Also, I can't find any discernible pattern to why this happens with some pictures and not others--ie: what I described above is usually true, but I have had e-mailed photos or old photos turn out the way I want them, which is in the larger size in iPhoto. Why is this happening, and how can I make all the pictures the larger size?

There are a variety of ways to go about creating effects. YOur best bet at finding how to do them is two-fold...
1) search the internet using terms relative to what you want to learn... something like "Flash fireanimation tutorial" or "AS3 Snow tutorial"
2) invest alot of time and effort at learning how to use Flash
The second is the most important
If you look closely at the first example you point to, you will see that it is all somewhat simple repetitive animation... the smoke repeats and even the tiny specks repeat. So the approach for this one basically takes drawn elements, such as the smoke and the sparks, and just continuously plays them over and over.
