3D geometries and shapes change in real time

Hello everyone,
I'd like to realize a D object in Scene Display, now I can control a geometry in real time, I mean change the length of a box for example.
But further I want to be able to change it to a other shape,in real time too,and also its geometries can be changed in real time,for example from cylinder to a Box or a cone.
Can anybody help me, very appreciate for you suggestions!!

Creating one of each and inserting the active image and removing the previous will not suffice?

For creating cluster tables first u have to create table pool ...
create a table and specify the fields and other tecnical settings and
then Goto EXTRAS --> Change Table Category and selct the Pooled table and activate it...
Then Create another table And specify the required fileds and also the settings and then
Goto EXTRAS --> Change Table Category and selct the Cluaster table and in Delivery and
Maintainence Properties mention the Pooled table that u created and activate it...

I just bought QuotesRT and PortfolioRT to check real time stock quotes. But today, after comparing with another real time quotes service and Yahoo Finance real time quotes, I noticed that the stock quotes in QuotesRT and PortfolioRT are not real time at all!

Changes to Real-time cube through input-field entry

Hello,
I have created query on Real-time cube (which has some data ) and enabled input-entry field for one of the key figures.
2).Created a "Push-button" to save the changes made in query.
Issue : changes are not saved at cube level , when i press "Push" button.
For Push button Properties, I used "Planning -specific Command" --> "Save"
Pls. let me know possible reasons and solution to the problem.

Hi,
Check at first that you dont have a lock data issue (TCODE SM12).
If you are using WAD or Query Analyzer, please double check the following:
1) Your input-ready query must be created based on the aggregation level but not direct to the real-time infocube.
2) In the Query Analyzer look into the query properties and check that Change Mode is marked on and the key figure properties on the PLANNING tabstrip check that you have at least one method for ready-input.
3) In WAD Data Provider is linked to your input-ready query.
4) Check your Analyzer web item looking for data binding to Data Provider just mentioned.
5) Add a couple of push-buttons with SAVE_DATA command and RESET_DATA also.
Please check step by step and try again.

Simulation and complete lack of real time

Hi,
I have installed multisim and put down a a very basic 555 timer where I noticed everything is in slow motion.
So I hooked up a signal gen to a scope at 50 hz, the scope then draws the signal wave at less than 1hz?
My processor is almost on idle so I cannot forsee any lack of processing power.
What completly blows me away is that NO where in the manual is this made obvious, how can simulation of electronics be done at 1/10th of the real speed?
What even confuses me even more is that if I up the freq of the signal gen, I get proper high speed results plotted on the scope, so this means it has nothing to do with CPU usuage.
When I plot 50hz I get this rediculous slow motion less than 1hz on the output of the scope.
please help explain this?

I usually have the opposite situation. My low frequency signals are usually fairly fast and my high frequency signals simulate extremely slow.
Multism using the transient simulation (pressing the run button) does not run in "real time". The time indicator at the very bottom of the screen indicates what I would refer to as circuit time. It is the exact time in the real world that it would take for a circuit to accomplish what it is doing even though it may take 1 minute of our clock time to simulate a 1 second circut event. The reason behind this is that it take time for all the spice commands and circuit mathmatics to be executed, interpreted, and then a solution arrived at and then all the outputs plotted on the instruments. It is this number crunching "on the fly" that makes the simulator run out of sync with real time.
One thing that can be used to speed things up is to look under SIMULATE>INTERACTIVE SIMULATOR SETTINGS then go down to where it says Set Maimum Timesteps (TMAX). Click the circle next to Maimum Time Step (TMAX) and in the the little box to the right change it from 1e-005 to 1e003.
With the obve setting you can approach real time with simple circuits, but with more complex circuits or high frequency circuits this could cause problems as the simulator doesn't have time to converge to a solution and you will get "time step too small" errors or the output will not look as you expected it to look.. This setting is basically the resolution setting of the simulator. The lower this setting is the less accuate the results but the simulation speed is faster. The higher this setting is the more accuare the results but the slower the simulation speed.
I hope I have helped somewhat and that this helps explain what you are seeing.

What is the best way to match clip and sequence settings for real-time editing?

I am a long time FCP user and trying to make the After Effects workflow a little smoother by utilizing the Adobe suite.
One of the most valuable things I miss about FCP is that when I drop a clip in a blank sequence (no matter what the settings of the seq) it will ask if I want to match the settings of the clip. This ensures that no rendering is required to quickly edit the video in real-time.
Is there a plugin or function in Premiere CS4 that I am missing that will afford me this feature? Currently i am doing everything I can to match the clip settings when creating a sequence, but sadly i'm still having to render the timeline to preview the edit.

And in CS4, if there is not a matching Preset, you can choose the Desktop Preset, which will allow you to customize nearly every attribute to match your source footage. The name is a bit of a misnomer, but has been around for a long time. I would have called it the "Custom Preset," but Adobe never called.

THE SIGNAL I WANT TO ACQUIRE IS 0-10 Vcd FROM A SENSOR, THE PROBLEM I HAVE, IS THAT I AM ACQUIERING THE DATA AND IT SEEM THAT THEY ARE UPDATING EACH SECOND, BUT I HAVE BEEN MOVING THE PARAMETERS SUCH AS TASK TIMING IN THE DAQ ASSISTANT VI AND NOTHING HAPPENS.

Hi barron,
If you want to see the data update quicker, you can decrease the value in the "Samples to Read" field of your DAQ Assistant. This number controls when data is transferred from the DAQ buffer to the PC. If the sampling frequency remains the same, but this field decreases, it means the buffered data will be returned more quickly.

Monitoring file changes in real-time

Hi,
Is it possible to monitor which files are being modified in Solaris within an application?
For example Windows provides hooking mechanism and once you call the required system calls, you become able to capture file system events in real-time. In fact, real-time virus protection applications totally rely on this feature. Another way is to code virtual device drivers, as far as i know. Does Solaris 9/10 provide an API, signaling or a callback mechanism to implement a such kind of application? Or is it possible to write virtual device drivers in Solaris to achieve this functionality?

In real time based on client practices, the cost/activity plan will be based on activity dependant cost.
ex: There is Quality control department and it carries out testing of the products.
now, to get plan/budgeted cost/activity, we can choose the requied cost elements to be planned for the period.
like:
the cost elements are
QC cost elements
Salararies & Benefits
Indirect Materials
Indirect Expeneses
and fixed expenses
for above cost elements we do cost/activity dependant plan and calculate the cost per i hour of testing based on parameters.

Adjusting volume and pan curves in real time

Can I adjust my volume curves and pan curves while i'm doing playback?
Example, in pro tools when you play back, with you controller you can change the volum or pan as you want and it "memorizes" you movements. Can garageband do this? or do I have to make them all myself?
Also doesn anyone know if this feature, along with retard and tempo changes, and a different metronome going to be offered in a new version of garageband?

Hacker violating my privacy even though I have security and have changed passwords several times. Who ever it is, they want me to know because they have the nerve to take control over this computer even when I am logged in. The cursor just starts moving.

Someone is stealing my private information and logging onto my computer at the same time that I am logged into it. The cursor moves by itself and they log me out of whatever page I am working on. I have security and have reported it to my internet provider.
I have spent so much money trying to keep them out of my system to no avail. I also attend school on line and this is a huge problem for me. This thief changes my internet picture right in front of me.
I have tried to report this to the police, but they are no help at all and this is not right. They need to at least try and see who it is.
What do you suggest, I really want to know who is doing this.

This could be done in many ways so it's quite hard to pin point what's going on and how it's done.
The first thing I would do is to reset the the router you have, creating a new password for loging on in case they have gained access this way, then create a new password for the wireless network if you are using it.
Then reinstall your computer, if they/you have installed some software and gotten a Trojan, the only way to get rid of it to 100% is to reinstall. There is no meaning in trying to find it and uninstalling it since it's gotten this far allready.
Depending on what router you have, you might be able to get the logs and see from where they are connecting and trying to pinpoint their location.
There are probably other ways to find out more, but if this happened to me, the first thing I would do is to get rid of the problem, ignoring who they are.

After upgrading to OS 7.1.1 Maps no longer works correctly. It is constantly "locating" and does not do real time updating. Tried "Scout" map app it does the same thing. Do I have something not properly set up for viewing Maps the way I used top?

After upgrading my iphone 4s to 7.1.1 the Maps application does not work properly. It updates very slowly and is constantly "locating". Why is this happening after the upgrade? I also tried SCOUT App it is does the same thing. It seems like it is losing the GPS position. Is there a fix for this?

Any change after turning Airplane mode off and on and/or or after turning Location Services off and back on?
If not, any change after doing a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release?

but I can see Skill_Group_Real_Time reports and all historical reports.
tried to find the reason but no luck.
