3D Hardware accelaration
The video card a ATI Radeon 9800 PRO in my mac MDD 2x1,25 GHz, 2GB RAM (System 10.4.11) is not detected for hardware accelaration. Do i need a special driver or is the card to old for...
Thank you for comments.
Hi,
Are you sure you have 3D accelaration in your machine ? Nothing in this material mentions about 3D

No video on mac with hardware accelaration enabled
hi there, i just posted this thread yesterday in the flash player category, but i think it might be more correct if its posted here. we are creating a live stream with a digital rapids encoder, and getting no video on macs if the hardware accelaration is enabled. we have also on demand videos which are encoded over a main concept codec without this bug.
so now my question. is it possible to disable the hardware acceleration from within flash or does anybody have similar experiences?Hi, I can only supply some information of the options the end user would have on Hardware Acceleration. From what I have read is that even though Adobe Flash Player has included the Mac to be able to use this, Apple may have only allowed it to function on certain Mac and iMac editions. So the end user can turn the H.A. off if it is causing issues with Videos etc. Also with the Flash Player version 10.1.82.76 the H.A. is turned ON by default, hence the option of turning it off. Now if a Mac user wants it on, or even those using other operating systems, it is also recommended to update the video and graphic drivers to the latest versions.
From your end as to what you do I have no idea since this is the Flash Player forum and just speaking for myself, I have no experience with what you do.
Perhaps the Flash Forum would be helpful or one of the Adobe Forums for the particular Adobe Program you use.
Thanks,

Audigy 4 hardware accelaration/buffer iss
First off let me say that I've been using the Audigy 4 for months now with no problem. I consider myself a person that has above-average computer knowledge. I have done nothing to affect the card in any way as far as I can tell.
I primarily use it for music and gaming, and while playing Call of Duty 2 I noticed it sounded different than normal. So I look around in the audio settings and find that for some reason EAX was turned off. So I go to re-enable that and it throws me a DirectX error of some kind and exited the game. This happened every time I tried to change that setting, so I finally just re-downloaded and re-installed DX 9.0c. That didn't change anything.
Then later on I noticed that under the audio settings for Halo, the "Hardware Acceleration" option was turned off and grayed out. I couldn't even get to the EAX option to try to turn it on.
Running DxDiag showed nothing out of the ordinary, except that the DIrectX acceleration level was down to "basic" rather than "full". Fixing this did nothing either, and I finally ran the DirectSound test. ALl the sounds played, but it popped up with yet another eror that told me that my card doesn't support hardware buffering, so all buffering wil be done by software.
Since then I've completely wiped all Creative software and drivers off my machine twice, and then above and beyond that, I took the card out and booted Windows once just to make sure Windows noticed it was gone. I then popped it back in and did the re-installs.
So I'm at a loss of what to do now.
I haven't recently installed any hardware or software, I've done not one but two completely clean re-installs, but a once-working card has gone from the pristine 5. EAX goodness to being a glorified normal stereo card.
I haven't tried the clean boot, but I seriously doubt it's anything of that nature.
Any ideas to get my hardware acceleration working again?Hmmm. Had a play to try and fix my card problems and now made things much worse.
I?did the clean sweep thing in the FAQ and ended up losing all sound. The drivers could be removed but any attempt to re-install from my original disc told me that I did not have a Audigy 2 ZS installed. I then removed the card and re-seated, Windows XP found a multimedia audio controller but not Audigy 2 ZS. Again, attempts to install from original disc failed.
In desperation, deleted all files in the various creative folders and also removed all creative keys from the registry. Reseated card and tried again. Same lack of detection from XP but I was able to 'trick' the system into at least giving me centre speaker support by installing the latest downloaded driver from website. I now have basic sound in all applications but nothing from all the 'extra' speakers in my 7. set-up and the only creative product on my PC (Audio Console) won't start (tells me that I do not have an Audigy 2 ZS installed).
So now I want to know how I can download/re-install all of the various EAX/THX/Diagnostics/Calibrators/DTS controllers again and get my system back to where it was yesterday (or ideally, back to how it was 2 years ago when everything worked fine!).
Tried to contact tech support but the website makes it impossible. If any tech support people read this, please let me know how I actually seek support!?!
Is very frustrating having to watch/play 7. games in 2.0 when I have all the extra speakers....... -
I want to disable hardware accelaration because it freezes my pc at startup.
I am convinced that HA causes this problem.
My OS is Crunchbang (http://crunchbang.org/about/) .
My pc is a pentium 4, nvidia 5200 gpu, nouveau drivers.
I ask for help at MozillaZIne Forum (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2767265) and at Crunchbang forum.
I disable HA in firefox (preferences and about:config) without result.
In FireFox General Options "Use hardware accelaration when available" is disabled.
In about: config gfx.content.azure.enabled is false and gfx.direct2d.disabled (user set) is true.
Also xorg.conf doesn't help me.
In xorg.conf (configuration file of Nouveau GPU driver) hardware accelaration is disabled.
The only solution is to disable nouveau hardware accelaration editing the boot menu (kernel boot parameter : nouveau.noaccel=1) and firefox works.
But HA is necessary for other applications like OpenOffice.
If HA is disabled menus, buttons and other UI components do not show properlyHello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
* [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
* [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you. -

Just curious when Adobe might be updating Premiere Pro CC list of support graphics cards for hardware accelaration.
The iMac 5K Retina has an optional upgraded AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4GB GDDR5 graphics card.
But this is apparently what happens in Premiere Pro CC when you start the program on an iMac Retina 5K with that graphics card: the hardware acceleration option is greyed out.Looking at this, it doesn't seem that the Retina MacBook Pro's NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M is on the list. And the NVIDIA CUDA driver will give you nothing but heartache (a frequent source of kernel panics).
You might want to take your question to the Adobe Premiere discussion boad to see if there are any current 'workarounds' -> http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere.

Yet another high cpu using flash issue
Salutations. What I'm about to tell you won't come to you as a surprise as there have been many similar topics discussed here. In fact, on the first page, there were two. So let's get on with it!
hp pavillion entertainment notebook dv6 e2170ee
windows 7 64bit
6gb ram
intel core i7 cpu q 720 @ 1.60 GHz (never overclocked. don't know how to)
nvidia geforce gt 230m
firefox is on safe mode. kind of better than regular mode.
firefox waaaay better than chrome in handling flash. haven't tried it on ie. don't want to. i left ie8 at version 8
flash hardware accelration is off
firefox hardware accelaration is on
latest flash player enabled
latest shock player enabled
latest flash director enabled
latest firefox
no idea if my vents and cooling system work properly. read several posts about this issue being related to hardware.
i have updated my drivers using hp support assistant, driver detective, and windows update. wouldn't be surprised if there was a conflict with all this nvidia driver as well. went to the site. it detected my model and sent me the driver. had audio and video options in it.
while writing this post, the adobe tab + 4 flash tabs off the same site (youtube, younow, cam sites, etc) are open.
performance tab in taskbar says
flashplayer 15 *32bit (2 processes with the same name but diff cpu usage by the way. why 2?) is using 5%
firefox *32 bit is using 5%
audiodg.exe is nowhere to be found
now firefox and flashplayer keep alternating ofcourse. flash always ends up with higher cpu when everything breaks. i have noticed that even after closing ff, ff and flash are still in the processes table. they stay there for a bit. why?
ISSUE NUMBER 1: i can't play a video and have flash players on at the same time. I'd like to watch a movie and every now and then look to my other screen to see what's going on with the flash site. it can't be done. all is well at the beginning then it goes to hell. i have the latest free version of bsplayer and videolan. Yes vlc handles better but it all goes to hell in the end. sometimes the video won't even show on vlc; only audio
ISSUE NUMBER 2: i don't understand the logic behind the increase in cpu. if i have 6 tabs open all flash all is well. but at some point it just spikes up. so i always try to keep the number of flash tabs as low as possible. sometimes 4 are no issue but 5 are a big issue. sometimes closing a tab helps and sometimes it doesnt.
ISSUE NUMBER 3: audiodg starts using more than 2%. It can go up to 11 or 13 even. That shouldn't happen. I've been told that for it to go beyond 2 or even 3 means there's a conflict. I had trouble dealing with this issue. I don't know what or where the conflict is. So if there's anyone here that's good at this please contact me. Ill post a pic of device manager. For the sound, i have 4 nvideo and 1 idt audio codec. I cdon't know which to disable or uninstall. im thinking of unintalling every audio/video driver i hav and start from the beginning. BUT LETS NOT MAKE THIS ABOUT AUDIO/VIDEO CONFLICT
QUESTION 1: was there ever a time when this issue didn't exist? perhaps there's a "stable" version of ff or flash that don't cause this.
QUESTION 2: ive seen a lot of posts about this but I honestly can't remember any participants saying OH REALLY? ODD, I NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE
QUESTION 3: isn't there some kind of tracer that can track the moment that it goes to hell? im sure there is but no one's mentioned it so far
QUESTION 4: would buying a new laptop solve this? I'd like to think not since the issue is flash not the capabilities of a laptop but i can't help but think that a better laptop will fix this. My laptop is 4 years old.
QUESTION 5: i don't know anything about multithreading or multiple cores handling a single process but if someone showed me how, would that resolve my issue?
MY WISH: for flash to coexist peacefully with human beingsDisabling Hardware Acceleration in Flash means that we're doing all of the processing on the CPU, instead of on the GPU. The GPU is purpose-built for 3D graphics and video decoding and is far more power efficient. Decoding H.264 video in software is very CPU intensive, which is why we made the huge investment to enable hardware acceleration on the vast majority of available desktop hardware. Running six CPU intensive tasks simultaneously (which is what you're doing by using six simultaneous tabs) is unsurprisingly going to tax your machine.
If you've disabled Hardware Acceleration because video wasn't working right or something, figuring out how to get that enabled (or moving to better hardware with good driver support) would solve the vast majority of what you're describing here. If HP doesn't offer updated drivers, I'd recommend trying the corresponding Nvidia drivers, as OEMs aren't always motivated to pick up the latest fixes once a model is no longer generating new revenue for them. The chipset manufacturers tend to provide longer support, but those drivers aren't officially supported by the OEM.
The architecture for Protected Mode for Firefox is a result of the fact that we've retrofitted a modern plug-in security approach to a legacy plug-in architecture. As you've noticed, equivalent sandboxing in other major browsers is designed into their plug-in architectures, and is therefore more efficient. We've made huge investments to support modern security architecture and always do our best to accommodate efforts from our partners in the browser space to further secure the browser. You can find a detailed explanation of our approach to Firefox here: Inside Flash Player Protected Mode for Firefox
Firefox controls the instantiation and destruction of Flash instances. You'll also notice that Firefox hangs out for a while after shutdown. This is something that we're aware of, but it's beyond our control.
Flash doesn't have much to do with audiodg, except for the fact that it generates sound and uses the windows sound subsystem. This article seems to present some reasonable advice in resolving issues with high CPU consumption from the sound subsystem. Fix Audiodg.exe High CPU Usage in Windows 7 | Windows EXE Errors
Hardware accelerated video encoding is typically not available on consumer-grade hardware (primarily because of the difference in licensing models for encoding and decoding with popular commercial codecs), and therefore is done on the CPU. The particular website chooses what codecs and bitrates are involved, and higher quality feed will consume more CPU. It's also worth pointing out that not all video can be decoded in hardware. We provide clear guidance to content providers on how to encode video so that it can be played back efficiently, it's ultimately up to the content provider to follow that advice.
So, long story short, each tab consumes resources. Running a single tab is going to use less resources than running multiple tabs. The latest version of Internet Explorer does some stuff to reduce resource consumption in tabs that you're not actively looking at. We're discussing possibilities with the Chrome folks for doing the same thing in Chromium-based browsers. Mozilla isn't interested in investing in browser plug-ins, so we don't expect to see the necessary browser-side improvements there. The Chrome sandboxing model is more efficient that protected mode for Firefox, so tasks that require moving a lot of data (like streaming video) may use less CPU in Chrome.
To answer your questions specifically:
1.) There was a time before we supported multiple tabs, webcam streaming, H.264 video decoding and modern security sandboxing. I wouldn't recommend using those versions.
2.) There are a few posts about this, but we have ~1.5 billion users. The majority of the very small number of folks relative to our install base are complaining their machines are overheating, which is a symptom of an ineffective cooling system.
There's nothing magic about Flash that causes it to somehow superheat the CPU.
There was a time before tabs, where people didn't normally run 5-50 browser windows. Websites also got much more complex, and the security threats got far more serious and complex.
Playing video as a plug-in in the browser as opposed to something like VLC is inherently less efficient, as pretty much each pixel and packet gets passed through the browser before it gets to the OS or drivers.
All of these things require additional processing. The resources on your computer are still finite, and there is an upper limit to the number of simultaneous tabs you can use.
At some point, you come to a juncture where you need to decide between throwing more hardware at the problem, or using less tabs simultaneously.
Also, most laptops have power saving CPUs, so they'll ratchet the clock speed down to save battery. You might want to check your power settings to make sure you're running at the CPU's full capacity when plugged in.
3.) Not that would generate anything really useful.
4.) Possibly. You actually already have a multi-core machine. I think you'd get more bang for your buck by enabling hardware acceleration and switching browsers.
5.) You already have a multi-core machine that we support.
Your Wish: We're constantly addressing security issues identified through our own testing, emerging research and intelligence from our partners in academia, government and industry. We're also looking for opportunities to tune the player, but the reality is that Intel, Nvidia and ATI (and a long list of others, in addition to Adobe) have tuned Flash Player extensively for their hardware. We work closely with the Internet Explorer and Chrome teams to continue to make the Flash experience better, and are always happy to work with the Firefox team should they decide that they're interested in plug-ins and the desktop browser again. At the end of the day, Flash is just a low-level runtime. It's just as possible to write inefficient ActionScript as it is to write inefficient C++, and while we provide some fantastic tooling for profiling your Flash content, it's up to individual content providers to write efficient code. It's really difficult to find opportunities to make generic optimizations that don't break a percentage of the hundreds of millions of sites published with Flash content.
I'm actually still not clear on what the problem you're experiencing is. All software running on your machine that's actively processing something is going to use a non-zero percentage of CPU time. The symptoms you describe indicate that Flash consumes 5% of the CPU, which is totally reasonable. I'm guessing that I don't have the complete story. -
Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300 has stopped working
I have Firefox 13.0.1, Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit, latest adobe flash player version 11.3.300.262. Latest nvidia drivers 301.42 - WHQL, 260 gtx nvidia card. I did a clean reinstall for nvidia drivers, and flash drivers, still same problem.
Everytime I go to fullscreen mode, my screen turns white and I have to left click on my mouse so the white screen goes away(otherwise the white screen hangs indefinite), I get a windows message stating adobe flash player has stopped working. After that I get send crash report for adobe.
Image to when the flash crashes. http://i.imgur.com/fX7Ld.jpg
This never happened with Adobe flash player 11.2, never. With the latest update it crashes, everytime I go fullscreen. This happens on http://www.twitch.tv streams, any livestreams. Youtube seems to be fine, when going fullscreen mode. And no, I don't have RealPlayer installed. I only have 3 addons installed and enable. Adobe Acrobat, Flash, and Silverlight, all latest editions. Everything else is disabled, or uninstalled.
I've Disabled Hardware accelartion in firefox still same problem, but with flash hardware acceleration enabled. I've tried Firefox Safe mode with all addons disabled, same problem.

Question about freeze and ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT
Hi,
I have an aluminum 20-inch iMac 7.1 OSX 2.0Ghz intel Core 2Duo, mid 2007 running SL 10.6.8.
Some months ago it started having a random freeze problem that happened sporadically and then increased to happen from around 20min in 20min.
-mouse moves but nothing happens and I have to shut it down on power button.
After extensive troubleshooting not working I took it to repair, they tested my hardware and said it was perfect so at the end I did a clean install, ran repair permissions and brought my documents from my back up without using time machine nor migration assistant and installed all my apps from scratch.
It got much better, and first I thought it was a problem with Little Snitch app so I uninstalled it.
Also I had noticed that while using latest versions of Firefox the graphic display would have a strange glitch, such as brief instances of pixel artifacts that can also appear on my display when out of the browser.
- I turned off hardware acceleration on the browser's preferences and it seemed to disappear.
Although this freeze is still happening, specially when I wake up the mac from sleep and yesterday I got a black screen.
I think I may have a problem related to my ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT and I would like to ask if anyone here has a similar problem or if anyone knows about a fix .
I tried to update the ATi from apple’s site but the update’s installer said I don’t need the update.Hi
@dmaude and George, thank you both I am glad there are more people now coming forward with this problem.
George, I believe you are right, I came to that conclusion several months ago, it is a problem with the GPU and my ATI RadeonHD 2400 and something wrong with the driver, maybe a kernel extension.
And I came to that conclusion when I noticed that if I turned off Firefox "hardware accelaration" the browsers prefs would not freeze but it happens with,e.g. Photoshop, when I use tools that pull from the GPU.
I am going to read the link you left here.thanks
dmaude: I installed Techtools and Diskwarrior, and now ran it periodically after my radical clean install where I brought all my files manually without using time machine nor migration assistant and installed all my apps from scratch.
I am a web artist thus I am not even using much of my 250GB, I have 200GB free and 3GB memory.
No bad blocks, no problems with fans nor temperature, I download all updates, absolutely nothing.
It is a virtual freeze and I am almost sure it started with snow leopard 10.6.3 update.
What I did though that seems to alleviate the problem was to install this tiny program/app called "caffeine" that stops my imac from entering sleep and so I still get the freeze but it happens less times. I leave here the link, maybe it helps you because I got so tired of this problem that I did not even want to upgrade to Lion.
http://lightheadsw.com/caffeine/
I filed many bug reports to Apple, no response. I found a link from 2007 related to something similar and where Apple finally confirmed it was their bug, as stated there:
"Apple technical support has already confirmed the issue with several users, according to the threads, and the problem reportedly has been narrowed to the ATI Radeon HD cards inside the iMac."

Adobe clip notes quicktime playback Win XP 64
Hello
Havng an issue and wondering if anyone has experinced similar problem. When I open adobe clip notes .pdf file in adobe reader (that I exported in PrPro CS4) on windows xp pro 64 bit- the video comes up but the little quicktime play bar with play, pause and stop does not show up- just black where the bar should be. Now I can click on the black and if I click in the correct areas (blindly) I can still pause and play and fast forward- but this is not a good option. When I play the same pdf in Windows XP pro 32 bit the quicktime bar works just fine. I have quicktime 7.6.4 installed on my XP pro 64 bit machine.
I can export to Windows media and that works with both XP 32 bit and 64 bit- but windows media player won't allow me to scrub the video forward and back like quicktime does
Any suggestions
Thanks

Enable and encourage user input in PDFs (viewed with Adobe Reader)
with FrameMaker-to-Acrobat TimeSavers + Form Assistant
Half-hour webinar (free; no fluff, no hype, no nonsense)
Wednesday, June 5, starting 9am PDT
Register at: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/157658438
Enabling PDFs for various types of user input can strengthen the interaction between users and the content, and improve satisfaction due to greater user involvement/control. In addition, designated avenues for user input can contribute to documentation quality and provide outlet for frustration, for example by sending inputs regarding the documentation or the product directly from within the PDF.
Techniques demonstrated in this webinar include features that are all embedded in PDFs that are viewed with the free Adobe Reader:
• text fields where users can record data values and options
• checkboxes to track progress
• page marks and notes (optionally e-mailed)
• embedded grading/feedback forms
• storing of useful search queries within the PDF for future use

C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txtI have Firefox 13.0.1, Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit, latest adobe flash player version 11.3.300.262.
This never happened with Adobe flash player 11.2, never. With the latest update it crashes, everytime I go fullscreen. This happens on twitch.tv streams, any livestreams. Youtube seems to be fine, when going fullscreen mode. And no, I don't have RealPlayer installed. I only have 3 addons installed and enable. Adobe Acrobat, Flash, and Silverlight, all latest editions. Everything else is disabled, or uninstalled.
This issue does not happen when hardware accelaration is disabled in flash settings.
Please fix this issue. -
Right click context menu displayed as transparent
I'm on FF35 and I've started noticing this problem for the last 6 or 7 versions.
When I right click anywhere in the page in order to display the context menu, this is shown as transparent (only the lower and left side panel shadows are displayed).
This problem usually occurs approximately 4 time out of 10 (see attached image):when this happens, it usually takes a few more repeated right clicks to finally display the menu correctly.
I already tried the following to no avail:
1) Change window theme: problem also happens with the default theme
2) Disabling hardware accelaration
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Hi cor-el,
thanks for the suggestion but as mentioned in my post I had already tried that.

'''''Update'''''
It looks like the culprit was really hardware acceleration after all.
I'm quite sure I tried disabling it and it did not fix the problem.
I then tested the problem running FF in safe mode [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1047248#answer-691726 as suggested by Diego Victor] and the issue was gone: I therefore thought that the cause was to be found in one of the extensions.
Reverted to FF in normal mode, I found that the problem was still gone.
Went to re-enable hardware acceleration and the problem re-appeared.
Thanks cor-el for having me try it twice :)

YouTube 3D playback with black screen
I have desktop and laptop Win 7 Pro 64-bit computers both with latest Firefox and Adobe Flash Player. YouTube 3D videos (latest squashed format) playback fine on laptop but have black screen on desktop. I tried older version of Flash Player and disabling hardware accelaration on desktop which did not fix problem. The 3D button responds with "An error occurred, please try again later." only on the desktop. The laptop works fine. The same problem applies to the latest IE with the latest Flash Player on the desktop. I am looking for new suggestions to fix problem.
I just tried to install Premiere on my new MacBook Pro as well but I'm still not able to playback the picture. The sound works but the playback screen is completely black.
MacBook Pro (Retina) OS X: 10.8.2.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6: Version 6.0.2 (072 (MC:264587))
Source Footage: Quicktime (56 gb in one file): Apple ProRes 422, Linear PCM, Timecode.
I also have some smaller clips in this Quicktime Codec: H.264, Linear PCM.
No error messages. Sometimes the program just freezes and I have to force quit it. Or it just won't playback.
It was a entirely fresh install of the software. I'm a member of adobe cloud so I downloaded it from the application manager.
I'm also running photoshop and inDesign which are working just fine. At the time i launched Premiere no other Adobe programs where running. Just programs as: textedit, mail and evernote.
No third-party codecs installed.
Tried to update Premiere with the latest updates but that didn't do any difference. -
1. when clicking on a menu bar item, i get a double view , very small of what the dropdown menu should look like, and it is not stable: it tries to zoom in/out.
2. on the same menu item , i get the dropdown sometimes in very large view .
2. when clicking on a link in google with the right mous button, you normally get "open in a separate tab,..."
Instead i get a preview of the full browser screen.

http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a596/djoeri1/firefox_issue_3_zps6637099e.pngHello ,
i upgraded to Firefox 19, and since this is a brand new PC, i also performed a "restore to factory settings".
I'm also using the default theme because i did not do any configuration to this pre-installed PC.
I disabled all add-ons and extensions before i posted this problem.
Leaves me only with the option of diabling the hardware accelaration, and upgrading the graphics driver if there would be one available.
I don't understand why the graphics driver would be an issue, because both Chrome and Explorer are running fine on this machine,
so to me this seems a pure Firefox issue.
I wlll however try to find an upgrade for the driver, and if it would fix something, i will update the post.
Untill then, Chrome is the only option i have for the moment, because with this bug i cannot use any menu of Firefox.
