3D Menu not displayed Photoshop CS6 Extended
Hi all,
I have just installed Photoshop CS6 Extended from adobe.com as the trial, but after installing it I don't see the 3D menu at the top.
I have tried reinstalling several times but still no 3D menu.
I have a ASUS GTX550Ti graphics card with 1gb of ram so I thought this would be sufficiunt.
Also running windows 7 64bit.
Any help appreciated.

People report this from time to time. Adobe's response has been along the lines of "of course the trial will show you the 3D menu", ignoring the fact that a user is reporting that it doesn't.
Did you get the Photoshop trial software directly from Adobe.com?
It's not a problem with your hardware being insufficient, because if the GPU or OS/driver weren't up to the task the 3D menu would be there, just grayed-out. That you're not seeing it says that the installer has done something wrong and has set up the trial to run as the Standard edition somehow.
Unfortunately, no one has reported a sure way to make the Extended features show up in the trial so far, since mostly the problem has been dodged, but here's what I'd suggest.
Uninstall the trial, then run the Adobe Create Suite Cleaner Tool, then try a reinstall.

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

No Analysis Menu showing in Photoshop CS6 Extended
Hi all,
The 3D menu is there but not the Analysis menu. I'm trying to set the scale measurement; i have the scale icon and it works, but i need to go into the Analysis menu to set the scale - and it's not there! Can't find it, or any reference to this (only to the 3D menu being missing, which is usually they don't have Extended).
Running Windows 7 pro on a Radeon HD6850 graphics card, i have "use graphics processor" selected in the preferences menu. Any help gratefully received!
JoeIn photoshop cs6 the Analysis functions are under Image>Analysis.

Photoshop CS6 Extended Installation aborts
I can not install Photoshop CS6 Extended on my Macbook Air 2011 (Lion). Each timethe installation aborts at 47%. There is no error message, but the MAC freezes completely. I have tried it many times. Also a reinstallation of Lion has not helped. I do not know what I should do more.
The cleaner tool I have used for the removal, but it has not solved the problem.
Meanwhile, I've talked with the German Technical Support from Adobe. They have advised me to start the installation in safe mode of Mac Lion. First Mac to shut down. Second Switch on and press the Shift key immediately after the startup sound.
In secure mode, the installation worked perfectly.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

Can someonee please assist me in my Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. I keep getting a 'Couldn't Complete Your Request because Dynamic Link is not Available?" Is there a way of getting a software patch for this problem? I thought you didn't need extra software. My software other than that problem works fine.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?

I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?

No, installing Photoshop alone would do, that would also install Bridge on your computer. But you do have to download the whole-suite download to install Photoshop from it. The individual Photoshop download will never accept your suite serial number.
Incidentally, the "suite" concept is a fabrication of Adobe marketing and bean-counting types. The engineering teams are totally independent of each other, they are not only in different buildings but in different cities and states of the American Union, even in different countries.
The fact that they have little if any communication among them is highlighted by requests occasionally made in these forums by top Adobe engineers to let the other teams know when there are problems in one application that impact our workflow in another one. -

I'm trying to download the trial version of Photoshop CS6, but adobe just returns me the download page of Photoshop CS6 Extended. Where can I download that? Is that available as a trial?
The only way is to buy a license I have complained to Adobe for I do not want to be a beta tester and do not want to even see extended feature during a trial. I talk for over an hour with their support on the phone before paying for a licence. They told me the bug I wated fixed in CS5 was fixed in CS6 so I sprung for a license only to find out they lied the bug is still in CS6 andAdobe has added additional bugs. Things that work in the past now have bugs. IMO what I paid for is a beta not a good release so many Actions and Scripts fail if your preferences is set to edit in floading windows. The Only way to even use CS6 it to edit with preference set to open in tabs then float windows with tabs option in effect. New features support like Bicubic Automatic was not added to Photoshop Scripting which breaks Script that reference a users interpolaton preference when the preference is the default Bicubic Automatic. Installing the Script listener disables the new allow tool recording option. The new Allow Tool Recording is machine dependant recording a massive amount of data on fast machine and a small amount of data on slow machines. Playing an action that record tools on a fasts machine when played on a slow machine is unuseable. There is at least one new bug in the Action player and one new bug in the Action recorder. The there are other new features like content aware move the feature may work on a document where the move is relatily easy to pull off. Professional as well as well as amatures tha pay the price for Photoshop want tools that are well designed and work not tools that may work on some machines or work on easy problems not hard ones. IMO CS6 as is is beta code and has some design flaws as well.

Why?I don't follow. all trial versions are PS Extended. If Extended functionality is not avialable, ite means your system doesn't meet the requirements. Refer to the tech specs on the product page.

Photoshop CS6 Extended not available in Creative Cloud single app membership?
I have read everywhere that Creative Cloud includes Photoshop CS6 Extended. So I went to buy a membership and figured I only need access to that one single app, and paid the US$19.99 for access to a single app license. But whenever I try to activate Photoshop now, I get regular CS6, not Extended. If I go into http://creative.adobe.com and look at my Apps it says just "Photoshop CS6" but when I click Learn More it brings me to the CS6 Extended product page. My question is whether I actually am entitled to CS6 Extended, or if I have to buy the more expensive $49.99 membership for access to all apps in order to get that? The marketing should be more clear if that's the case. Thanks in advance for any help!

You're correct, when you get a membership to Photoshop CS6 by itself it is the standard version, versus with Creative Cloud membership it is the Extended version. I didn't find this written out anywhere. I did notice when I clicked the Photoshop picture from here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/cssubscription.html it took me to the Photoshop standard product page versus here it does say Extended http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tools.html and links to the Extended product page.
Where are you seeing this "Learn More" link that takes you to the wrong place (Extended page)? Can you post a screen shot?
This seems like something that should be called out on the first subscription page and here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/faq.html#subscriptions
I'll see if its possible to get something added and possibly change this Learn More link once I get more info.
