3D option cs6

I have photoshop cs6 in windows7 32bit. But in my toolbar i dont have the 3D option... any help?

Good morning,
How does one specify file location when exporting? I'm new to CS6 (on a mac pro, too), and don't see the option (PP1.5 had a dialog that opened prior executing).

If you click on the file name in order to change it, you should see a way to also change the file location.

Read the fine print. Some legitimate resellers sell volume discounted Student / Teacher editions. But you must qualify as a student / teacher to register & activate your product.
Software upgrades are much less expensive than the full scale versions. But if you buy an upgrade for CS6 and you don't already own a registered copy of CS5 or CS5.5, the upgrade won't help you. You'll need to buy the full scale version.
Purchasing from Adobe ensures you're getting legitimate software.

EPub object export options CS6

Is it true that it is not possible to set object export options as part
of an object style?

Seems a bit feeble.
I'm thinking of writing a script, in that case. Select an object. Run
the script. Select an object style from the list the script gives you.
Click OK (or Done). Now all objects that have the selected style applied
will have the object export options of the selected object applied to them.
What do you think?

3D Option CS6 Photoshop Unavailable

Hello,
I've purchased full extended master collection and had my 3D option work just fine.
I've recently updated all softwares and now that I go access my 3D it won't let me.

Look in Photoshop Preferences > Performance. "Use Graphics Processor" must be enabled for the 3D to be available.

Moving from mask to image.

I've just moved from CS3 to CS6. Previously, when working on a layer mask I could make the image active by Command – ~ . This doesn't work now - is there another keyboard shortcut for this? I can't find any references to this anywhere. I use a Mac, OS 10.7.4.

From CS4 onwards, you have to 'Option + click' on the layer mask to reveal toggle between image and mask.
However, there is an option CS6 has for seasoned legacy users, like you!
Photoshop > Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.
Enable checkmark on highlighted read area in the image - Use Legacy Channel Shortcuts. You'll be able to revive the legacy shortcuts for channels/ layers.
Do note that CS6 has a lot of improvements in shortcut commands for other layer/ channel options and tools within PS. You will be sacrificing these if you choose to use Legacy Channel Shortcuts.
Nevertheless, trust this helps

Annoying Photoshop CC bug

Hi everyone,
here's a post just to share a recent photoshop bug: while using a vector tool and trying to change color, an alert appears saying that "The program cannot perform the requested action due to an error" (approximative translation from French!)

I have recently purchased Photoshop CS6 Extended Student Version...I have had my product verified and recieved a customer ID No...Not sure how to download CS6, do i have to download the trial version first ? and do I have to use Creative Cloud to do this ?

Adobe Bridge (CS6) - bulk action - JPEG Options must be OKed for every image

Hi all-
I created an action script for a watermark in Photoshop CS6. Then, I ran my script as a bulk action in Adobe Bridge (CS6) against my JPEGs. However, the JPEG Options dialog/window appears for every image in PS. Is there a way to have this automatically OK (and at the highest quality) so that I don't have to sit and click OK over and over?
I am on a Mac btw.

In Bridge CS6, my "Tools" tab is now missing the Image Processor option.

Two glaring changes were made in my system all by itself. One is that in Bridge CS6, under the "Tools" tab, the "Image Processor" option is gone. All that's left is Batch Rename and Cache options. Does anyone know why this happened or how to restore this. Also, whenever I double click an image, it now goes directly to Photoshop as opposed to opening in Camera Raw first like it used to. All and any help is appeciated. Thank you!!!

Does anyone know why in Bridge cs6 under the "Tools" tab, my "Photoshop" option is missing? That is how I have always batch processed images. In Bridge, I choose the images to process, go to the "Tools" tab, down to the "Photoshop" option then to "Image Processor" and process. Now when I go into my "Tools" tab it only has the options: Batch Rename, 4 kinds of Metadata related options and Cache. Can someone tell me why this has happened and how to fix it? Thank you!!!

This problem lasted for two days. I tried many suggestions but nothing worked immediately. Suddenly I turned my computer on last night and it was fixed...inexplicably. Not sure what worked but something did. I appreciate you taking the time to offer advice.

Text Wrap Contour Options Not Available in CS6

So I just started using CS6, and I know from CS5 that there used to be the "Dectect Edges" option when trying to do a text wrap around an object shape. Every time I try to text wrap like this in CS6, the "contour options" menu is "greyed out," and I can't adjust my text wrap. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a screen shot below. It is happening in all of my CS6 documents, around PSDs and objects created in InDesign.

In your screen shot you have the text frame selected. That would disable the contour options. You want to select the object that you want the text to wrap around, not the frame that holds the text you want to wrap.

I have spent the last two or three days trying to do what you suggested. I uninstalled Adobe 6 from Windows. Some files that CS6 placed on my system during installation remained, including fonts and .dll files.
I had to abandon the Cleaner Tool you suggested because in one screen it allowed me to specify removing CS6 only, but on the following screen it only gave on option to remove ALL Adobe programs. I could not do that because I didn't have the serial number handy for CS3 in case I want to reinstall it at some point.
I tried to get technical help with the Cleaner Tool problem but no definitive help was available, so I reinstalled CS6 again without having the benefit of the Cleaner Tool. I tried to get the serial number for CS3 so I could use the Cleaner Tool but spent 2 wasted hours in chat. Even though I had a customer number, order number, order date, place of purchase, the email address used AND 16 digits of the serial number, in two hours the agent couldn't give me the serial number. After two hours I had nothing but instructions to wait another 20 minutes for a case number.
Illustrator CS6 is still trying to open some backups as Text and otherNone of the problems have been fixed. I have tried to open/use the .ai files in CS6 installed on another system and am getting the same result, so I don't think the software was damaged by the cleaner. The hard drive cleaner is well-known and I've run it many times without any problem to previous versions of Illustrator or any other programs.
When I ordered, the sale rep promised good technical support and gave me an 800 number, but after I paid the $2000, I learned that the 800 number she gave me doesn't support CS6 and hangs up on me. Adobe doesn't call it a current product even though they just sold it to me about 3 weeks ago.
Would appreciate any help you experts can offer. If I can't solve this, the last backup I can use was from June and I will have lost HUNDREDS of hours of work and assets that I cannot replace.

Save options panel not displaying correctly on a mac - photoshop CS6

I am finding that when using photoshop cs6 on a mac and when saving files as png or web files - the options panel displays as black and you are unable to see any of the options.
how do you change this?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
Are Photoshop and OS fully updated?
As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed) by keeping command-alt-shift pressed on starting the program or starting from a new user-account.
System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for such tasks.

Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)

If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of those may be responsible for the problem.

Since updating to Yosemite and CS6 2 of my print options are greyed out on my epson R2880 print pane?

My colour and colour settings options are 'greyed out' on my Epson printer pane since updating to Yosemite and CS6,this happened before after running a software update on the printer driver! The driver version at that time was 6.62 and now it has updated to version 9.00....could this be the problem??

That's strange ... did you try restarting before printer install? You also may need to delete the printer itself (System Preferences > Printers & Scanners) and add it again , in order to access the proper drivers (?)
Can you show screen shot(s) of your incomplete print dialog?
