3D option not working in Photoshop CS6

I have Toshiba computer, Vista and I can't get 3D to work. I looks like Adobe Creative Cloud might not be compatible. I need 3D to work for my class at college. It keeps telling me OpenGL us disabled. I can't find a solution to enable it. Anyone have any ideas to get this to work. I'm paying a lot for nothing.

Problems with 3D objects. PS freezes every time I create a 3D object and try to come out of 3D mode or save the file.
TRIED:
Updating driver for ATI Mobility Radeon HD560V display adapter
AMD website auto-suggested and installed HD 4650 (?) driver.
That made PS work a bit better, but other stuff started freezing (Chrome, Bridge)
Went to Dell site and reinstalled HD 560V. Had to uninstall and reinstall Catalyst Control Centre.

3D Mode Tool are not working in Photoshop CS6

Hello everyone. First, I want to tell you that I use ATI Radeon HD 6730M with 12.2 driver series. and I just found out that my Photoshop CS6 3D mode tool not working in advanced drawing mode, like this.
As well as normal drawing mode. Please help to fix this problem.

When you changed the options in the Preferences - Performance - Advanced Options section, did you close Photoshop and restart it before testing? That's necessary or you won't be testing what you think you are.
Assuming you have done so, if you have exhausted the various GPU options, I don't think you have any other options beyond waiting for a new and improved display driver. I suppose it's possible the Adobe folks might improve their code to make it work better on different setups, but generally speaking these kinds of things seem to be glitches in the display driver.
I just tried a similar operation to what you're doing on my Radeon HD 5670 with Catalyst 12.6 drivers and it seems to work okay.

I'm experiencing the auto-select in Photoshop CS6 not working when it is checked and I click on different layers. It worked fine in 5.5, but I am now using PS CS6 cloud and it works only sporadically. Any reason why?

Mouse not working in Photoshop cs6 on OS Mavericks

I am using Photoshop CS6 on OS Mavericks.
Now I can't use my mouse anymore in Photoshop. The mouse doesn't change with respect to the tool I selected, when I go over the image. So i can't use the mouse for nothing in Photoshop.
Its my first time I use PS under OS X, before I always worked on a Windows system.So propably I am missing a simple step or a setting?

I just found the solution, so simple: My bluetooth connection was on, so my Macbook connected to my external keyboard, which caused the problem.

Contact sheet II not working in photoshop CS6 or bridge CS6?

I keep getting error messages in photoshop CS6 and Bridge CS6 when trying to create a contact sheet. Does anyone know what the problem might be? The error messages I'm getting are attached.

Oil Paint Filter not working in Photoshop CS6?

Ok, so I have had PS CS6 for a couple of months with no problems. I downloaded the oil paint filter, but to use it i needed to update my GPU drivers, so I did and it started working. Last week, i noticed that when i attempt to use the filter, it says that need to have the box in the preferences section saying 'enable graphics processor' checked. before it was previously checked. Now when i go to it, it is greyed out because of an 'error' in my display drivers. I reinstalled my display drivers but it did not solve the problem. For some reason it is still greyed out. I know that my GPU meets the requirements for using oil paint, it was working fine before so why has it decided to stop working now?
I have not removed any parts from my computer so it wouldn't have affected it. If anyone could help me on this issue then i would be extremely grateful.

You haven't installed the Photoshop updates -- you should be on 13.0.3 or 13.1.1, not 13.0.0.
Oil Paint uses the GPU, and requires a decent GPU.
Your GPU doesn't support many of the features needed by the Oil Paint filter, and barely supports any of the GPU features in Photoshop (notice that it does not support OpenCL, or Normal or Advance mode for GPU drawing).

Hi. im using pc with windows 8. and i just downloaded the trial version of photshop cs6. for some reason everytime i try to use 3D, it doesnt work. It says you are trying to convert from the current selection and there is no current selection.

3D Not Working In PhotoShop CS6 CC

I have everything installed properly. I have moore than enough VRAM (2096 MB). I have the latest video card. I can't get the 3D function to work. The menus are there; the features appear as they are supposed to; but I can't use the options of turning my images (other than sid to side as in Free Transform); and my images aren't casting any shadows.
Please offer solution.

Upgraded to Yosemite 10.10 now magnetic tool does not work in photoshop CS6 also using intuos 5 tablet.

Can't set the printer (print option not working) in Photoshop CC for Mac (Yosemite)

I can print from all other apps but a couple of days ago Photoshop just stopped being able to print to my HP Color Laserjet. Photoshop either gives me an error message: will not print until a printer has been set OR it just crashes. I have de-installed and re-installed Photoshop, but the problem did not go away.

I've tried to add the crash report here but the comment won't save -- should I be sending it to you directly?
Also, FYI there is someone trolling this forum, posing as an Adobe emplyee who tried to convince that he would de-install my cc app and sell me a different version of Photoshop -!

PSE8 off-line help only extends to the Organizer.
For the Editor, unlike earlier versions, you must have an internet connection.
PDF files are apparently available but this is another hoop that Adobe customers are expected to jump through.

Could not load MMXCore Routines module because it does not work with Photoshop CS6?

Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm using paths to silhouette an image on a photograph to use in another document and I need a hard edge on it, not a feathered one.

In the Paths panel, click the flyout menu (in the top right of the panel) and choose Make Selection (this option will only be available if you have a path selected). Reduce the Feather Radius to 0 (zero) and click OK. This setting will be the default even when clicking the Load Path as Selection button.

Does ScriptingListener work with Photoshop CS6 beta?

We're working on building some scripts, but really need the help of the ScriptingListener plugin. Is it available for Photoshop CS6?

Plug-in Compatibility
In general:
3rd Party plug-ins that are compatible in Photoshop CS5 should be compatible in Photoshop CS6
Adobe provided plug-ins, and additional plug-ins, for CS5 are not compatible in Photoshop CS6 Photoshop CS5 Optional Plug-Ins (Mac/Win)
TWAIN plug-in | Photoshop CS4, CS5
OpenEXR Alpha plug-in | Photoshop CS5 Extended
Do:
Check the plug-in manufacturer's website for the latest version of your plug-in
Use the manufacturer's plug-in installer to install their plug-ins
Don't:
Do not point Photoshop CS6's "Additional Plug-ins" preference (Preferences>Plug-Ins...) at a previous version of Photoshop's 'Plug-Ins' folder.
Do not manually drag plug-ins from a previous version of Photoshop's plug-ins folder to Photoshop CS6's 'Plug-Ins' folder
that was posted in another, now locked thread.
so it seem there are some issue.. thought to just copy the plugins seems to work fine for me.
but if they say so.... be warned
in the end it is a beta .. don´t use it for critical work.
of course you should not copy the plugins that come with CS5 over to CS6.
the plugin folder structure from CS6 has changed.
