I can't find the 3D option on Photoshop CS6. What can I do to find it?

Windows xp doesn't allow for any 3D options.

    I don't suppose you have a full CC subscription?  It comes with a feature called Typekit which I love. Along with an ever increasing range of top quality fonts, it has the best font manager I have used, and excellent search facility.

  • Where is the "Adjust Variations" option in Photoshop CS6?

    Hi all,
    I often use the Image>Adjust Variations option in Photoshop but do not see the option in Photoshop CS6. I know we are still only in the BETA stage but I am still curious. I hope it is not going to be dropped. I like to use it for quick fixes on small portions of the image every now and again:)

    Is there any reason as to why I cannot select the Filter Gallery option in photoshop cc. I noticed it is not with all my images.

    What do you mean, "not with all my images?"
    The menu needs to be made visible via the Preferences - Plug-ins panel.
    After that, your image needs to be 8 bits/channel RGB in order to use the Filter Gallery features.  Adobe has not updated all these filters to handle deep data (16 bits/channel or higher) images directly.

    Q - Where do I find the "Print To File" option in Photoshop Lightroom (Mac OS and Windows)?
    A - Photoshop Lightroom does not have the ability to print to file, but some print drivers can access the ability of the operating system to print to file. See
    TechNote for further information.

    If you use print to file then you get a file that is meant to be send to a printer and that file has all kind of formatting code for that specific printer.
    Opening such a file in Firefox or a text editor can only work if you use a text only printer to print the file to, so make sure that such a printer is installed and selected.

    If the background layer visibility is set to OFF, there is no option to save a gif file.
    Is the transparent background in GIF and non-interlaced 89a option available in CS5 version or any other image editing software.

    This should be checked on.

    Paste into option for Photoshop CC...When the image is pasted, it is not to scale for the selected area. How do I change this? I have adjsuted the size of the image being copied but it does not help.

    Paste into doesn't auto scale the image to fit inside the selection, you usually have to scale the pasted image manually using Free Transform.

    I can't find the help-deactivate option in photoshop cs3. I need to deactivate to install on another pc.

    I have tried the repairing option, but it came back the same.
    The serial number can't be register on the second computer either.

  • Asian Text options on Photoshop CC

    Hello!
    Well, I was working with japanese text on Photoshop CC and when I was going into its formatation, I wasn't able to do the specific asian options because they do not appear. I already enabled them as I saw on the site once, and it worked fine while I was using Photoshop CS6. (by specific options I mean mojikumi/kinsoku)
    Any tips how to solve this?

    The first thing to check is Preferences > Type and mark "East Asian Text Engine" and restart Photoshop.
    Then in Photoshop's Type menu > Language Options > check East Asian Features   There you should see your Kinsoku/Mojikumi options and other East Asian selections in the Character and Paragraph Panel Menus.
    I'll guess you have suitable Japanese fonts and an IME　It should then work as in this example with the Vertical Type Tool.
    It's been a while since I played with Japanese text, but this should get you in the right direction.
    Another great thing about CC 2014 is that you can install a Japanese Language pack and change your User Interface to Japanese in the Interface Preferences at no extra charge.

    First, go install the Photoshop updates. You're on 14.0.0 and should be on 14.2.1.
    Second, you are driving 2 displays with a card that only has 512 Meg VRAM -- so you may not have enough VRAM available (after allocating 2 framebuffers) to use the 3D features (which require a minimum of 512 Meg VRAM).
