3G Data not responding as it should

Hey forums, got a inquiry about my iPhone 4's data connection.
Lets say i have full bars for 3G service. I get slower internet connection than before, sometimes even not connecting and it states that "Server not found". Is it the norm to get this error? Oh not forgetting to mention i got 1 dropped call, 3 failed attempts at calling back. All happened in an open area. Just what is wrong? :o

Another thing that I want to mention is that I have ran the "Speedtest" app before (can't remember if i had updated to 4.2.1), on a 3G network, full bars, was running at 6mbps +/- before, now it is running at 3mbps+/- . This test was done at the same location, with same signal strength. This test was done simultaneously, even on different days. Results still show slower internet speed despite the strong signal. I have concluded 3 possibilities which are 1; Problem with the carrier, 2; Problem with the hardware(Antenna) 3; iOS

Try the standard fixes in squence:
- Reset the iPod (may not work because of power button problem).
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup
- Restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod
If you still have a problem, it is likely due to a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I open my computer and use it for a period of time it freezes up and it say Mozilla Firefox is not responding. What should I do with this?

This happened several times already that my computer freezes up and it says Mozilla Firefox is not responding. When this happen it takes a long time before I can use my computer, I would say one hour or sometimes it takes 2 hours. When it takes like 30 minutes of freezing up what I do is I force the computer to shut down by pressing start button.

When computer open up the Toshiba starts loading up all files after that I can use the computer for a while. I don't if there's something wrong with my computer or something else. I also have this problem.
Safari cannot open the page because the server stopped responding.
I have the indication that wifi is working properly, I know that because when i tried to open like kompas - news app in indonesia - it is no problem.
Just with safari, you tube and app store.
I already tried to reset the network, restore to factory setting ans STILL nothing can help me.
WHY apple still have this problem?? and from many forums, i found this kind of problem and always no answer can satisfy customer using iphone or ipad (in my case).

Firefox takes 6 minutes to load and then does not respond so what should I do?

After starting Firefox on my Mac (10.8) it takes 5 to 6 minutes to appear. A minute or so later the "Bookmarks and History system will not be functional because one of the files is being used by another application" message appears and Firefox either does not respond or responds very slowly to various mouse clicks and such. For example, I wanted to disable all plug ins and when I clicked on Tools and Addins it took three minutes for the tab to open and after 20 minutes still nothing had appeared on the tab. I've tried restarting Firefox, restarting the Mac, resetting Firefox to the default settings, starting Firefox in safe mode, renaming the places.sqlite file, uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling from a fresh download, performing a complete uninstall and reinstall in which I remove the Firefox folder from the Application Support folder after uninstalling, and relocating the plugins folder. I've tried just about everything in every Firefox support article that there is and nothing works. Any suggestions would be very helpful.Thanks.

I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the performance of Safari. I would start with clearing Safari History and Website Data. If the issue persists, you may need to take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the second article.

Parameter 'Enter Values' dialogue not responding.

When trying to preview any crystal report from the CRXI designer, it prompts me for parameter values.
When supplying the values in the 'Enter Values' dialogue, clicking on the 'OK' or 'Cancel' buttons does not respond.
In the case of a date parameter, clicking on the datepicker icon also does not respond. It should at least bring up the datepicker control but it does nothing.
I have uninstalled and re-installed Crystal Reports XI (Release 2 with SP4) but the problem persists.

I have managed to solve the problem though.
The 'Enter Parameter Values' dialogue is HTML renderred in IE.
My IE security setting on our network does not allow javascript to be executed and thus the dialogue was not responding to any events.
I managed to resolve the issue by adding "http://localhost/" to my intanet zone in IE security settings and enabling javascript for this zone.

Firefox keeps hanging up and freezing. I get this message. "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing--what a mess.

No matter how many times I open and close, firefox hangs up after surfing a few pages. When I look at task master, firefox is using up hundreds of thousands of kb, causing the processor to stall at 100%. I do not have this problem when surfing with IE. I have the latest version of firefox. I never had this problem with version 5. It keeps getting worse with each "update".

Obviously firefox should not hang after surfing a few pages. I have Firefox installed on an XP including firefox 6.0.2 and do not have problems.

Note by keying in ''about:memory'' into the location bar you will get a report, which includes more info as you roll the mouse pointer over items, that should help indicate where all the memory is being used.

I mainly use the Korg legacy collection synths, and a variety of Waves plugins, and my current macbook can run quite a few instances of the synths and plugins, so I guess based on the information given the base mac mini should be able to handle my projects ok. As has been mentioned, I guess the best thing to do is to try it.

ISight V.3 - user did not respond - US to UK

Hi there, I am beset with the same problems as so many of you are it seems with ISight. I am trying to video conference with someone across the Atlantic with no joy. I use a DSL line here at my office, have bonjour as well as AIM open and can ichat fine with them and video with others in my office (at times), but not with London (I am in NY). It rings , Iaccept and then nothing, and just gently sits there and declares that I did not respond. What should I do? The person I am talking to has one of the new intel MacBook Pros.
Please anyone? help

It sounds like there is no porblem with the ports iChat needs to do Bonjour chats if that is what you are describing.
It looks like it is the other ports the AV side needs to have open that may be causing you problems.
Do you know if these ports are open in any modem or router ?
5060, 5190, 5678, 16384-16403 ?
Do you know what method of opening the ports is being used ?
Can you get to any of the accounts in TAble 1 here

Firefox will not respond after restarting my computer after making changes in the cookies and history settings

I make some changes with cookies and cleared my history for today...and then restarted my computer...now firefox will not open...will not respond...should I uninstall firefox and then reinstall it?
If I uninstall firefox will the changes I made with the cookies and my history be reversed?
If I were to uninstall and then reinstall firefox will I loose my bookmarks if I do this? or does firefox remember them...so when I reinstall the previous bookmarks are reinstalled too?

Does Firefox starts up when you first open it after rebooting the computer but hangs the next time you try to start it? If so, then there's a [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1005487 bug] in Firefox 29 where Firefox hangs on exit when the setting "Clear history when Firefox closes" is selected, so that you get an "already running but not responding" error the next time you ttry to start it. In that case, end the firefox.exe process in the Windows Task Manager (or reboot the computer) then reset your Firefox Privacy options and UNCHECK the option "Clear history when Firefox closes". If that's not the problem and Firefox still not open even after rebooting the computer then try starting in Firefox Safe Mode by holding down the shift key while starting Firefox.
