Hi,
I have a 3g iphone ios 6 and have audiobooks on the 'more' app. Tonight I put 2 more books on and now none of them
-either the new downloads or the old ones -have any sound.
Also recently updated the audible app on the iphone and now cannot access any of those books as it has locked me
out and won't recognize my password which I have not had to use previously. Anybody help??
Press the home button while music is playing, hold it vertical, touch the iPod icon again and it should display the vertical view again. I have found the tilt to be inconsistent in its behaviour especially in Safari. Sometimes it takes a few attempts before it tilts from vertical to horizontal, or your tilt sensor has got a hardware problem if the problem persists.

hi, i lost my phone yesterday night and today i received a email saying that the app "find my iPhone" was disconnected, one minute later i got a new email saying that my apple id password was succefull changed and it wasn't me. what can i do? there is something that i can do to block the phone or try to find it.
Report it to the police. Change all your passwords and cancel you credit cards and other credit accounts.

I have three iPhone 4 models purchased in late 2010 (for my family) that all share the same iTunes account for access to apps and music, but each phone/user still has his/her custom contact list, email accts, and select lists of apps and music from the one iTunes acct library. The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. Is there a way to work with two or more app at the same time on iPhone or iPad?
What i am attempting to achieve is to work with at least two app at the same time. For example: select any picture from my albums to attach them in an email. Another example is get data from an app to use it with the calc app. And there are more exaples for it. And for sure I need support for an iPad air. I mencioned the other tablet just to try to be a bit clearer.

I purchased extra Icloud storage because I couldn't take any more pictures on my phone, or download any more apps. The extra storage purchase did not change a thing. I still can't take pictures or download apps. Help!!
Icloud storage has nothing at all to do with the storage on your iphone.
Icoud storage is on a server somwewhere, not on your iphone.

When I tried to sync my 4G iphone factory unlocked to iTunes I got this message "An update to the carrier settings for your iPhone is available. Would you like to download it now?" Should I hit "Download and Update"? or "Learn More" ?
I have a factory unlocked iPhone 3GS (eg: purchased from Apple). I received the same message at some point and eventually (after reading a bit more) accepted "Download and Update". No problem. No apparent bad effects. It just seems to update things specific to the carrier (Bell Mobility in my case).

It is not an iOS 6 issue. The screen of the iPhone 5 has more pixels tall than other iPhones and the app was not made for that screen size. You will have to wait for the developer to update the app to support the iPhone 5 (and 5G iPod touch) screen size

I (stupidly) have two Apple IDs and when I got an Iphone 6, only the apps from one Apple ID are on the phone. How do I get my other apps (from my old Iphone 4) on my new Iphone? Thanks
You can use the same appleid that you purchased the apps with on the phone for the App store. Settings> iTunes & App Store and continue to use the other id for everything else allowing you to have access to your previously purchased apps. You can then either sync or download the apps without paying for them again.
It can be quite handy having two appleids - it can be quite useful if you can manage them correctly. One id for the store and one for imessage is good for privacy if you have the same id in use on another device. -

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -
How do I empty trash after deleting music, apps and photos from my iPhone to make more room for upgrading to iOS 8.1? It says I don't have enough room to upgrade so I have deleted some of everything but do not see an improvement in my storage space. Help?
No need to empty anything.
You can update by connecting your phone to iTunes on your computer. This way you bypass the space limitations.

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked. -

If you activated the Find My iPhone service (in Settings>icloud), and if the device's batteries still have a charge, the device is not turned off and has not been reset and is connected to wifi, then you can try to track it. Using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and look at the Find My iPhone page. On a device, invoke the Find My iPhone app (get it for free at the itunes app store) and log into the icloud account. Note: The Find My iPhone **app** does not turn on the service, you can only do that through Settings>icloud.
If the device is listed as "offline", then one of the requirements listed above is not met (like being connected to wifi, or if the device was stolen and the thief reset it). -

You don't have lots of apps running. The number of apps installed does not affect the battery life.
