3g screen changed from normal screen to large screen...cannot change it back

3g screen changed to larger screen..will not change to normal screen.

You have enabled zoom.  Settings>General>Accessibikity>Zoom>OFF. Double tap with three fingers will reduce the zoom or drag three fingers whilst zoomed to enable you scroll around the screen to get to settings.

  • IMAC OSX 10.7.4 Safari why does screen suddenly change to large print etc when I cam surfing the net and how do I change it back to normal size

Safari - Since changing from Leopard to OSX when surfing the net, my screen suddenly changes to large print/icons etc.  How do I change it back to normal.  It is driving me crazy

That's caused by the "Smart zoom" feature of the magic mouse.  It's a Double tap with one finger to zoom and repeat to unzoom.
You can turn the feature off if desired in System Preferences > Mouse > Point & Click tab

  • My screen picture has a negative look to it. How do I change it back to normal? I think I brushed some keys at the same time

Can someone please help me? My screen has a "negative" look to it because I think I brushed some keys w/my fingers at the same time & made it change & I don't know how to change it back & I've tried looking everywhere but can't find anything that shows me how to change it back. I also have Windows Parallels (a Virtual Machine) & it's doing the same thing on the Parallels side, too.

    Try ctrl + opt + cmd + 8

Wow!  I think I had this same issue just last night.
I was cleaning my macbook pro retina on the outside.  Then I opened it up and was wiping dust off the monitor and I can't pinpoint exactly when, but the colors changed suddenly.  It looked super strange, it was like green halo's and it looked worse when looking at it at an angle.  Of course I took no pictures!!!  I was freaking out that my 2 grand laptop was busted and I somehow removed a protective film or something.
But I digress...  The image looked very green and spacey, it was almost a neat effect.  After about 5 minutes it started to look a little more digital though.  There were straight lines of this halo effect on the edges and top.  After about 10 minutes it turned into a predominate issue with the blacks on screen.  I could open a web browser and it was unnoticable on a white background.  After about 15 minutes, you could only barely see the green cloud effect if you looked at the monitor from an extreme angle.  After about 20 minutes, it was completely back to normal, I almost feel paranoid like I see a halo or something strange.  But I believe that might be all in my head now.
So yerp, lemme know what you guys figure out.

  • 'screen cannot be larger than 2048x2048' after upgrade

I have a Samsung NC10 (Intel GMA 945) which I use together with an external monitor (1280x1024). The external screen is to the right of the netbook, so I want to use the --right-of option in xrandr. This worked fine after adding 'Virtual 2304 1024' to xorg.conf.
Today I ran pacman -Syu which, among other stuff, updated xorg-server (1.6.1.901-3 -> 1.6.3-2). After the upgrade, I can't get dual screen to work the same way as before - when running xrandr, I get
xrandr: screen cannot be larger than 2048x2048 (desired size 2304x1024)
After searching around a bit I found that 2048x2048 is a hardware limitation. However, this is with 3D acceleration - DRI should be disabled here (it was before the upgrade, and xorg logs state that DRI is disabled). If DRI isn't the problem, why was I able to do it this way before the upgrade?
Any suggestion on how to fix this, other than downgrading, is much appreciated. For now I can use --below, but it is far from optimal.

I've positioned my external monitor below built-in, and this worked. But when I next turned on my laptop without external monitor - my mouse cursor became invisible (changing it does not help, rebooting does not help either). Now I can only see a visible mouse cursor if an external monitor is connected. Any ideas how to fix this?

  • HELP!!!! The screen on my mac mini has shrunk and I don't know how it happened and need to know how to change it back. It's really small print and it's hard for me to read.

Please help!!! My compter screen has shrunk and the print is really hard to read. I don't know what I did to make this happen, but I'd really like to change it back to the larger size. Thanks for helping!

Click on the Apple logo in the upper-left corner of your display.
Click "System Preferences," then click "Displays."
Click "Display" if it is not already selected.
Select a resolution from the list of available resolutions. The most common screen resolution is 1280 by 1024 for standard screens and 1280 by 800 for wide screens as of February 2012
Depending of the monitor you have.

You should really start a new discussion because many times people will not even look at a solved post. It's one thing if you read the post and the solution works for you, but to add onto a solved post, especially when you have a different problem than the original person that posted, you might not get the help that you need.
I will give it a try. Close the iBooks app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Why does the screen change to a new one when i open itunes 10.7.1  can i change this back to how it was originaly?

when i open my itunes up it slides over to a new screen, it used to just pop up, im not sure what happened to cause this, but can i change it back to how it originally was?

Sounds like you have iTunes set as a full screen app - to view normally in the iTunes windows go to the very top right of your screen - the title bar will appear with a small blue box in the corner with 2 arrows in it - click on this and iTunes should return to how it was before.

  • Accidently enlarged home screen and cant go back to normal screen frozen and cant even swipe on

Accidently enlarged home screen and cant go back to normal screen frozen and cant even swipe on

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting.
Probably the zoom feature enabled, double tapping with three fingers will bring back the screen to normal size again in that case.
Turn Zoom on or off. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom. Or, use the Accessibility Shortcut. See Accessibility Shortcut on page 139.
Zoom in or out. With Zoom turned on, double-tap the screen with three fingers

  • I changed my "View" to Full Screen..How do I change it back since the Menu Bar with "View" is no longer available in "Full Screen" ?? I tried Esc but that does not work ..

I used the VIEW tab at the top left to change my View to "Full Screen".
Now I cannot access the VIEW tab to change it back. How do I change it back so that that Menu will show at the top of my screen??

    Some choices:
    # F11 toggle Full Screen
    # Move mouse up through the top of the screen to menu bars, if you show them
    # "Alt+V" -- to bring up the View Menu

Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Displays.
System Preferences can also be found in the Hard drive -> Applications folder.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

Thanks.  So there's no means of knowing whether a text message has been delivered, not to mention time of delivery.  Perhaps I've gone for the wrong phone.  It might do a lot but seems to miss out on some basics.
