Your question is a little difficult for me to understand. If you think the LCD Display connector on the Ribbon Cable #1 is damaged, the fix is to purchase a new LCD Display. The Ribbon itself is not truly a replaceable part that I know of.
When working on an iPhone 3GS the iPhone must be OFF, or you risk damaging the LCD Display or the Logic Board components that control the LCD Display.
I do not understand how you know “don’t have two pins”? I have never heard of this problem? If you really know that two pins are out, then also examine the #1 connector on the Logic Board to be certain is has not sustained damage too.

Running recovery when laptop display broken

computer needs a recovery run and set back to factory settings. the problem is that the display on the mini notebook is broken and we are running on a monitor. We can activate the recovery process from windows but once it restarts and is doing the recovery (i assume) it does not return to the monitor it attempts to display on the broken mounted display. I cannot access bios because during startup it again uses only the mounted display and does not utilize the monitor we have connected. Is there someway to access the recovery program within the windows environment. Is there someway to have the mini laptop use the monitor instead of built in display without going into bios. Again I cannot access bios since the mini laptop does not utilize the monitor until windows is started. Would like to return windows to factory settings but cannot see the recovery program since it runs outside of windows. Mini laptop only uses externl monitor while in windows, so accessing bios is impossible and accessing recovery program impossible.
How do I make mini utitlize external monitor instead of mounted (broken) display as primary so that startup process is visible and perhaps I can access bios or run recoverey successfully?

I grasp that you are having an issue with trying to do a recovery with an external monitor. When using the external monitor the bios screen may not be visible but you should be able to just let the recovery complete.
You can do a recovery from within Windows.
Here is a link to HP PCs - Performing an HP system recovery (Windows 7) as a guide. There is a video within the docment for you to view.
During the process there is an opportunity to backup your personal files to prevent data loss. If you have not already done one, now is a good time.

Technically it is not supported. You could change a few middleware settings to transmit the bdocs as XML to prevent issues, but really if your CRM is unicode then ERP needs to be unicode and vice-versa.
Only exception is that generally the english code-page non-unicode works okay with unicode english.
You can adjust CRMRFCPAR for the bdoc to transmit in xml vs native.

(It's like a mirror image) When I put my phone near a mirror everything is displayed fine.
I now have to leave my phone on all the time cos if I press my top button it will display backwards again and then I after keep pressing it loads of times. I have got the latest updates and I have re-booted my phone from scratch I'm running out of ideas. I have phoned Apple up and they have just told me to press my home button down with the other one to re-start it. No Joys :-(
This phone is not jailbroken,I'm on 02 pay as you go it was bought from new 2 years ago from the 02 shop.

Sounds like it's dying. Bring your phone into Apple for an out of warranty exchange for $149 or find a 3rd party repair shop near you.

Also attempt to restore while connected with a known-good 30-pin Dock Connector cable, computer, and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value (00 499901 064000 0) can also confirm a hardware issue.

Faulty iPhone 3GS Display

I recently replaced my cracked iphone 3GS display (with a full front panel assembly) and it worked perfectky for a while, but then the display went and all I can see is the backlight. It goes on when I press the home or lock button and goes off when i repeat. I have tried putting the original panel back (the display still worked on it) and the same problem occured. Please help

There was probably some damage to the logic board that occurred when you cracked the screen. It has gotten much worse.

After upgrade to OS 4, my 3GS display twice normal size

I installed iTunes 9.2 and downloaded OS 4.0 for my 3GS, then installed it. Now I can't use the phone because the 3GS display is apparently the wrong resolution for the new OS. I can see only the centre half of the screen. How do I fix this?

Double-tap using three fingers to un-zoom, and then go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
If you have trouble with that. connect to iTunes and click the "Configure Universal Access" button in the Summary pane and turn off Zoom there.

Help with external display/broken macbook screen

I have an old MacBook that has a screen which broke a while ago, since then I have been using it hooked up to an external display through the mini-dv port.
However yesterday the system froze and I had to do a hard reboot. When it came back on, the external display was no longer set up properly. Being that the screen is broken as well, I can't figured out how to fix this.
How do I force my macbook to use the external display at startup?

I have the same problem too, but when I try, nothing shows up on my external. I cant see my screen at all, and the laptop just keeps humming as if its still starting up. I just had the hard drive replaced a couple weeks before my screen "magically" shattered.. any advice?

I am not a developer but I put together my company's small site with Dreamweaver CS4. Here is the link to the site:

I manufacture accessories for planted aquariums.
The layout and style of the site are very simple, with a main column on the left, a smaller sidebar, banner and horizontal menu. I put together the menu with Spry Assets: I couldn't really understand my way around that, but it was the only ready-made horizontal menu bar that I could find.
The site seems to be working alright, but the visual display is broken in Explorer. The page does not seem to be wide enough to accomodate the menu bar because the last couple of options return down below the rest. Much of the content also displays as center-justified.
Does anybody have any ideas for fixes? Here is the CSS.

I don't think that you can have a <div> inside a <ul> You should only nest <li> inside an <ul> although you can put other things inside an <li>. It's not clear to me why you have that. I can't see any styles associated with #navbegin. you've done a similar thing with #navend.

Display broken? Thunderbolt adapter?

My display on my 2011 MacBook Pro is broken. For this reason, I'm curious as to whether or not I can buy a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter for the time being, until I have the money to replace the laptop? When I plug in the adapter will it automatically switch to the external display? Or is there a hotkey that I could use to make it switch? Again, the display doesn't work AT ALL.

You won't accomplish anything by doing that; except for some iMac models, Macs don't support video-in.
