3GS - Exchange Mail, Cannot open any messages or scroll
I have a 3GS and an exchange email account. I receive new mail but after I go into my Inbox I see the messages but cannot click on them to open or scroll up and down to see other messages. I have deleted the account and created from New and shut down the phone. It is up-to-date on software.
Please help.

I cannot open any of my Hotmail e-mail messages, delete them, look at other old ones, nothing. All I can do is sign in and that is it. I have tried deleting cookies, clearing the cache space, rebooting the computer, rebooting my internet connection, refreshing the page several times. Here is the thing. I recently loaded OSX mavericks on my Imac. I now find I cannot open any Adobe products from CS5. The error message reads " to open Adobe illustrator CS5.app, you need to install a JAva SE 6 runtime. Would you like to check and install one? I try to install but get the error" download error". As far as i know I'm using Adobe Java 7. None of my CS5 suite works anymore............and i really dont want to upgrade to a monthly cloud service fee as i hate this policy with a passion.

I couldn't launch Dreamweaver CC. An error told me to install "java se 6 runtime". But when I clicked OK I got another error telling me there is a network problem! I found this forum post on CS6 products, so I tried the download link, installed java 6 and presto, it worked! Thanks! -
Is there a way to open a zip file received via email on the iPad? I tried and a message popped up saying mail cannot open the attachment.

i downloaded an adobe flash update and my computer after next logon got a blue screen. I could only start in safe mode and until uninstalling the flash player could i start in safe mode with networking. i cannot open any microsoft products now. I get a message saying adobe acrobat 10 is not designed to run on windows or uninstall and reinstall it ....but it will not let me uninstall it. What do i do? is this all an adobe issue or a windows problem?? thanks Tim
Hate to suggest this, but you need to ask in the Flash forum. This forum is for Acrobat.

I have re-installed Adobe Reader on to my Windows 7 PC. When I open a PDF I was getting an error message containing . . . .Acrord32.exe
I now cannot open any PDF's and Adobe seems unresponsive. I have tried to follow a step by step guide on how to fix this but Adobe won't stay open long enough for me to complete the steps. When I open Adobe it stays open for a matter of seconds then minimises to the task bar and when I click on it again I can't do anything with it and have to close it via task manager
Please help!?Disabling Protected Mode should fix the problem. But since you cannot even open Adobe Reader by itself, you need to do it via the Windows registry. If you tell me your installed Reader version, I can give you a registry script to do that.

Rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) in the Firefox Profile Folder in case there is a problem with the file.<br />
You may have to rename cert8.db (cert8.db.old) as well.
Firefox will create new files.
The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.

YOu can try resetting your network or a reboot. To reboot hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release. Wait for the phone to boot back up, you won't lose any data.

I cannot open any photos/movies in Entourage, message comes up saying 'folder cannot be found'. Last week I deleted lots of old documents/downloads and fear that I have accidentally deleted what is needed to open photos/movies. Any suggestions please? Should re-install the whole Office:mac program, and is it easy to do this without disturbing what I have on my computer?

You might be viewing the PDFs in your browser only where Adobe Reader plug-in is disabled.
Please try opening the PDF file using Adobe Reader and then check.
Let me know in which browser are you trying to view the PDFs so that I can help you out enabling the required plug-ins.

Mail crashes on opening any message with attachments
mail crashes on opening any message with attachments
this started happening about a month ago. I thought the problem was that there was too much mail in the program -
so, I acquired a program called MAILSTEWARD (which I recommend!) and it stores & saves my old mail.
I reset MAIL, so it kept my address and smart folder instructions etc, but all the mail itself was gone (I forget how I did that - I probably will try it again...)
for a few weeks, everything was fine - I could open an eMail with an attachment, and it worked.
but now it started crashing again everytime there's an attachment!
don't know what to do - there's only a month's worth of mail in there (which I should clean out anyhow) - but it seems to me that's not too much...

wthat's it - I ran the updater - and I believe I have been able to use it all day without the program crashing when it encounters an attachment.
one goofy thing I noticed, for the first time, there appear to be two applications folders on my start-up drive (1) in my user folder (2) in the "main" hard drive folder.
MAIL is in both - I believe the "main" one was updated; when I turned on the "user" MAIL it crashed when I opened an eMail with an attachment; when I opened the same eMail with the "main" mail there was no problem.
now what does this tell us?

Recently I had to install windows 7 in my notebook because XP doesn't have more support. Before installing I backed up all my files to my external HD. Now that I instaleed windows 7 and also installed Acrobat Reader XI, I just cannot open any of my pdf files created prior to installing windows 7.
Looking for help online, I found the solution of security and giving me access as an administrator to all my files, but it still keeps the same...
Can some one please help me out?? I really need to work on many of this files ASAP.

I've been using the mail app that came with my Mac for over a year. Out of the blue, it will not open and keeps giving me an error like "Mail cannot open because of an error and something about it not being compatible. Please help! I miss my mail
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
