3gs iphone locked network

i got a 3gs iphone and it was dammeged and I replaced ti with a new one
but it is locked at mobily network in KSA
It is noteworthy that the dammeged one was unlock!
so what can I do?
any buddy can help?

Did you get an email from vodafone confirming that the phone is unlocked? Did you put a SIM card in the phone? Did you complete the unlock process as detailed in the email? Did you restore your phone as new?

My 3GS iphone always go into 'network lost'!

my 3GS iphone is constantly going into network lost and 'no service'. Each time that happens, I have to go through a lengthy process of re-starting the phone which is painful! Additionally, the call drops while i am on conversation. My colleagues always complain that they cant call me the first time because the phone appears to be off but get thru after the subsequent attempts.
I checked with my service provider (Celcom) and they said there is no problem with its setting. I checked with the other service provider that I bought the phone from (Maxis) and they said that there is nothing wrong with the phone as well. I am lost.
I am a heavy user of data (I hv data unlimited package). My Yahoo msg and other online applications are turned on most of the time. I am not sure why I continue to have this problem. Recently, thinking that the service provider coverage could be bad, I changed the phone, but for a week, but I never had such problem.
Anyone faced similar problems and is there a solution for this? Thanks much

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of your issue. If you are no longer seeing the app in question on your iPhone, but it is showing as purchased on the App Store, you should be able to redownload it directly. You may find the following article helpful:

Reset, hold at same time Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts itself. If you have a screen protector on, consider removing it.

Apple doesn't unlock phones. You will need to contact the original cellular provider to determine if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.

The only reason you use bluetooth between iPad/iPhone its to share the internet from iPhone to wifi only iPad.
In order to see the bluetooth connection, you must first enable the Personal Hotspot on the iPhone.
Then on the iPhone, open Setting s> Bluetooth.
Then open the Bluetooth on the iPad adn pair teh devices.

Apple does not use the term "SIM free" in any of their marketing materials. If you bought the phone at Carphone Warehouse in the UK, it will lock to the first UK carrier used to activate it. It can not be activated on a foreign network unless unlocked by the UK carrier used to activate it. Other than that, so far as I'm aware, phones are "locked" or "unlocked". I don't know of anywhere else where things are done like they are at carphone warehouse in the UK.

I am interested in buying my first IPhone (a 3gs) and I would like to utilize it with a prepaid service such as Straight Talk.
Is there is particular prepaid provider that is recommended for the San Francisco area?
Also related to that question is it better to obtain a locked or unlocked phone (Straight Talk appears to allow unlocked GSM and locked GSM such as AT&T)?

I also realize that a 3gs IPhone is a GSM and that I would need an IPhone 4 or newer that is compatible with CDMA network.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue.
