3GS pausing automatically however i play my music
1st off i have read the other discussions and none of them seem to get my problem right.
i use my iphone to play music;-
through bluetooth in my car
through the built in speakers while im in work
on my docking station that use the big hole underneath (not the same hole as the earphones)
the other discussions i read said that it was a problem with using non apple earphones because the apple ones have 3 rings and not 2 like other non apple ones.
this occurs all the time. sometimes it can be after a couple of songs and sometimes it can be 5 seconds into a song. this is really annoying me now as for work i drive a bus so i cannot get my phone out every other minute to resume the song.
I would try using the communities search box in the upper right and search for Bose.

Lumia 520 music player gets paused automatically!
I got this problem from today morning. Whenever I play any music file on my speakers it gets paused automatically after a few seconds of playing and when I play it again it gets paused again. I have been facing this problem only while playing music on my speakers whereas when I play it on my headphones it works perfectly fine. Can anyone please suggest a solution. Thank you

Go to Solution.strange indeed mate, shouldn't be the case. have you checked that you are up to date with the latest firmware for your device, and also that you are up to date with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset, and check that your back cover has no damage etc.

I enabled computer home sharing between my fiance's apple computer and my windows computer, so I now can play his music on my computer; however, I am making playlists for our wedding and am unable to transfer any of his songs to my playlists. How can I do this?

Are you sure that if I use my windows log in rather than my husbands, then open itunes it won't delete all his hundreds of songs and overwrite with mine?
I want to maintain my own apple ID login and he wants his but without losing his songs.....
how do i transfer the content of my itunes including apps and songs to the new computer. There doesn't seem to be an easy explanation on here. Do I just plug my iPhone in and it will all transfer? -
i subscribed for itunes imatch - it works perfectly on my i-pad and iPhone - however on my macbook - my iTunes can no longer find my songs - i don't know how to make it look to the cloud to play my music - i think it keeps trying to find on the external harddrive where i used to keep my music
Of course iTunes is looking for the music on the external HDD. Enabling iTunes Match does not magically change the location of the iTunes library to the cloud.
To play the music either plug the external HDD back into your computer or create a new, empty library to use for streaming the iTM content. The latter can be accomplished by holding down the Option key when launching iTunes, choosing "create library" then enabling iTunes Match on the new library. DO NOT have iTunes scan your HDD for music. -
iPod will not play any music. Seems like it is in “Pause” mode. No sound from either the head phones or internal speaker. I have 418 songs stored and none will play. I have tried resetting, turning on and off the iPod, etc. but to no avail.
Try restoring from backup. Next would be a restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

I have just bought four songs from iTunes store using my iMac. I can play the music on my iMac and throughout my Apple TV. However after several restarts and double checks I can't get the four tunes to sync with either my iPhone or my iPad. All the software is up to date.
do you use the same Apple ID on your iMac, your iPhone and iPad? This is a requirement.

Why, at the end of a podcast, does it automatically start playing my music?

On a 4S, when I used to get to the end of a podcast it used to go to the next. For a while though it has automatically strarted playing my music from the 1st song. The result is me quickly going mad and hating that song!
Why is it doing this and how can I stop it?!!

First I am not sure if your wife has multiple episodes of the same podcast she wants to listen to or if she has many short individual podcasts. Please note that below my suggestions differ depending upon which situation fits her problem.
I do not have a 1G Nano but I do have an older iPod Mini which I suspect behaves in the same way as your wife's older Nano. I, too, was frustrated in having podcasts play one at a time. I have a couple of podcasts that have daily episodes and each of those episodes used to stop at the end and I had to select the next one to listen to it. This was frustrating because I usually build up a week's worth before getting around to listening to them. Then, by accident I stumbled upon a solution for the Mini. The podcasts also showed up under albums (and artists too) so I set my iPod to play the complete album, selected the podcast I wanted to listen to and was able to listen to all the episodes in that particular podcast. On rare occasion the order of the episodes might get out of chronological order.
If your wife has multiple individual podcasts then she might want to try setting up a playlist with all the individual podcasts she wants to listen to and go with that. Experiment with the playlist idea and the shuffling options of the iPod to get multiple podcasts to play uninterrupted.
I must admit that since I got the Touch for my birthday this winter I don't use the mini as much and am a bit rusty with all the settings of that iPod. My Touch will play through all unlistened to episodes of a particular podcast but will still stop at the end of each different podcast. I have not had the need to do anything drastic on the Touch since most of my individual podcasts are 1 to 2 hours long which is ample time for me to get in a good, long walk!

Why when playing downloaded music on my mac through my appletv (I have distributed audio so play it through speakers not actually on the television), which is sent wireless from mac to the apple tv, does the music sometimes skip like a scratched record or stop playing (in pause mode) altogether and won't start again when I hit play? I have full bars on the wireless icon. Anyone experience this?
Full bars don't tell the whole story. These issues usually stem from interference, use istumbler to verify

3gs failing to play some music. Please HELP!
After clicking play 3gs iphone is non-responsive, though, other music it plays fine. Nonplaying music bought from itunes so issue appears to reside elsewhere.

Suddenly, as of two weeks ago, iTunes will no longer play any music. I tried reinstalling but this did not work either. I have a PC with Windows Vista. Has anyone else experienced this problem and fixed it?
Yes, I just tried playing a 10-second mp3 file I acquired from The Oatmeal and didn't once pass my external hard disk. It's a simple, monotone, high-frequency sound, but I get the same results: VLC's UI is still responsive, but its functionality freezes up, i.e. the buttons are still animated, and the menu still works, but there's no sound, the progress bar doesn't move, and the file doesn't play.
