3PR posting must be before Payroll posting?

Hi Experts,
I have a general question regarding posting after payroll. Our end user told me that we should do 3PR posting before we even create payroll posting documents. But they don't know why we need to keep doing with this order.
Any reason from technical point of view that we should perform 3PR posting before Payroll posting?
Thanks a lot in advance.

can u elobarate ur query
i mean wht is 3Pr

  • Can not delete 3PR posting document .

In PCP0, we are want to delete a 3PR posting document. It is not posted yet, but when we go to Edit -> Delete the system set the status of this document to 92 'Deletion is running'. And now we can not contiue to delete it nor post any more.
Any idea why this is happening and what we could do now? Thanks a lot.

    Mary :
Yes, this note should do the trick. Once the note is applied, you can go back to the 3rd party posting run and delete w/o any problem.

  • Another user of your computer is currently using this connection. This user must disconnect before you can log on.

    Hello
I have a single computer that is going to be shared between 5 people. In an effort to save time. I wanted the users to have a single shared LOCAL login to the computer.
Then each user could pull up an RDS session through RDWEB on our 2012 r2 RDS farm.
However, when I attempt to log in more than one user through RDWEB I receive:
Another user of your computer is currently using this connection. This user must disconnect before you can log on.
I have done some research on this, and followed this advice, and did the following steps on all my RDS session host and broker servers
    Enable Multiple RDP Sessions
       -  Log into the server using Remote Desktop.
       - Open the start screen (press the Windows key) and type gpedit.msc and open it
       - Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections.
       - Set Restrict Remote Desktop Services user to a single Remote Desktop Services session to Disabled.
       - Double click Limit number of connections and set the RD Maximum Connections allowed to 999999.
However, it did not solve the problem. Anyone have suggestions?

    Hi Michael,
In addition you can try below registry setting for multiple remote session.
    HKEY_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server
    fSingleSessionPerUser     REG_DWORD     0x00000000
Note: By default the registry value is set to 1, but you need to change to 0.
Also if you are making connection through gateway then recheck whether the setting is enabled on gateway side for multiple session.
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks.

  • 3PR posting

    Hi all,
When we posted the third party offcycle, one employee's garnishment amount didn't make it to A/P. On running the reconciliation report, I found that the transfer date and the payment date are not generated but the 3PR run has evaluated the result fo this.
The other employees have been posted successfully. I am wondering what could have prevented the posting id and payment date to be blanked out for this employee. I know that the payment date will only be generated when FI run the payment run but the transfer date is not filled in.
I also have a related question- what is the purpose of "correct stopped status" in the 3PR recon report? Does it "correct" the stopped posting run?
    Thanks,
    Sonu

    Hello Sonu,
Check to see if the postings document created and posted for this garnishments. You can also use FBL1N to see if there any block on vendor or that particular entry.
    Regarding your second questions,
Check for items that are stopped but have an incorrect status. This enables you to check for items that have been stopped
manually. You can then use the option Correct stopped status to  correct such items.

  • Charset declaration in template must be before 512 bytes of data

I have an HTML5 template (well, as close as I can get to it since BC seems to add an XML namespace attribute on my HTML element) and on line 4 of my Sitewide Template I have the <meta charset="utf-8"> declaration which is required to be within the first 512 bytes of data for it to validate as HTML5.
I have my homepage set to this Template and I have keyword and description meta data in the HEAD of the homepage and for some reason, BC moves my charset declaration from the 4th line of my Template to just above the keyword and description meta data which is right before the closing of the HEAD tag.
Here's the site I'm moving over to BC: //mortgageunlimited.ignitemybusiness.com
What's also weird is that on my homepage I moved a HTTP-EQUIV meta tag that directs IE to use the latest rendering engine or Chrome Frame and that meta tag is just before the closing HEAD tag on my page, but when I view the page with the Template applied to the page, it moves the HTTP-EQUIV meta to the top of the HEAD tag, just below the TITLE.
Weird. The charset meta tag, if present, needs to be the first sibling of the HEAD element. Even before the TITLE element, since BC also adds an HTML comment <!-- BC_OBNW --> which takes up some of that 512 bytes of data that the charset element needs to be in.

I'm not using the Admin editor to code my template. If you'd read my thread you'd see that I noted that BC is adding the xml namespace attribute on my html element. I don't have that in the code on my template.  Also, I'm talking about the charset meta tag, not the http-equiv meta tag.  You can still use the http-equiv meta tag to set the charset but the HTML5 spec also says that we can use the new charset meta tag instead and that it be in the first 512 bytes of data.  The Here's my template doctype and head elements:

I could just update my http-equiv meta tag to include the charset but I think this is a bug since in the future most people will be using the charset meta tag instead of the http-equiv tag so whatever processes the templates are run under that are moving the http-equiv meta tags to the top of the header should also be configured to work with the charset meta tag as well. I'm still considering this a bug.

  • Repair Disc Permissions must run before I can open apps

Hi- I've been having a recurring problem over the last week: that an application suddenly won't open. After I've been to Disc Utility and run Repair Disc Permissions, it opens again....... and then perhaps a few hours later I have exactly the same problem and go through the same procedure !
Something must be wrong .................... but what ?
I've been surfing and looked at various apps for System Maintenenance and then found an extensive article in this forum which explained that normally, no extra maintenance is necessary.
So now I'm confused. And help to clarify matters would be much appreciated !

Wow- that was interesting reading ! Yes- I've been using Mozy for about a year, and a couple of days ago, noticed that the icon had disapeared. As I installed SuperDuper last week, I'll unclick it !
    Thanks for the tip, Kay.

  • Thumbnails must render before export? Need workflow advice.

I am trying to figure out if there's a way that I can speed up my workflow.
    1. Shoot a timelapse sequence (let's say 500 frames)
    2. Import as .dng with 1:1 preview & smart preview generation
    3. Make edits to frame #1
    4. Copy settings on frame #1
    5. Paste settings to all frames
Now here's the tricky part. I will wait for the progress bar to declare that it has finished pasting all of the settings to the remaining frames BUT the gallery previews still look like they did at import. LR5.5 dutifully begins to render the changes one by one.
If I have 50 of the frames visible then the 50 thumbnails will get updated. If I command-A (select all) and export all 500 frames at this point then I will always have some of the frames come out completely unprocessed - just as they were at import.
The only way that I have figured out how to avoid this is to scroll down in the gallery to a fresh set of 50, wait for them all to get new thumbnails rendered, scroll to the next set of 50, and so on. Once I've confirmed that all of the thumbnails have rendered then I can export with 100% success.
Is this expected behavior? What can I do to speed up this painful workflow?
I am working on a brand new Mac Pro 6,1 (cylinder) with 6-cores and 32GB of RAM. These files are stored on thunderbolt 2 while the previews and library are stored on the very fast built in flash storage.

I am trying to figure out if there's a way that I can speed up my workflow.
    1. Shoot a timelapse sequence (let's say 500 frames)
    2. Import as .dng with 1:1 preview & smart preview generation
    3. Make edits to frame #1
    4. Copy settings on frame #1
    5. Paste settings to all frames
(2.) Why make 1:1 previews on import? They are only used when you zoom to 1:1 in the Library. If you don't create them at import, LR will make one for that specific shot if you zoom into it in the Library loupe view. There will be a few seconds delay while the preview is being created (whereas if it was created at import there will be almost no delay) but on the other hand you are not lumbering your system with hundreds of big previews that you don't need. Same question regarding Smart Previews. Why? They are used to stand in for the original shots only when the originals are not available, for instance because you are away from home and the storage drive. Do you really need them?
(3-5.) Select all the frames (Ctrl+A). Use the toggle switch on the Sync button to make it Auto Sync. Any edit you make to frame #1 will immediately be done to all the frames.

On my third iPod Photo 60gig, and countless hours with tech support and on boards trying to find solution but still no answer. I use a compaq presario 3017cl and every time i connect my ipod the updater says that it needs to be restored. Sick up having so restore and udate 16gigs of music just to add one song. Need help!
I've read somewhere on this board that some people been having problems with SiS USB chipsets. Has this been verified can you please comment if you have had the same problem.
Can anyone help, does anyone have any ideas?

    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.

  • Third party remittance posting - FI payments

    Hello experts,
I am facing a problem in 3PR posting for Garnishment data.
For few employees though the data has been paid by AP , Garnishment history report is showing the status as 'Posted to AP'.(correct status must be - 'Paid by AP')
From HR side i confirmed that the Garnishment data has been posted successfully. The end users confirmed that the vendor payment is done.
I could find out that in remittance table T51R5 there is a acknowledgement field (REMPN) which is confirmation sent by FI once the payment is run.But in this scenario the acknowledgement field is not getting updated.
Do you have any idea how payment is done in FI ( any program or utilility that is run )  and  how the acknowledgement is passed to HR module?
    Regards,
    Malathi V.

    Hello Experts,
I got the solution for the issue.
The payment program RFFOUS_T/ RFFOUS_C was not updating the payment acknowledgement number in T51R5 for 3PR Garnishments.
The SAP Note 1130975 contains the details about this problem.Application of this note must solve the problem.
    Regards,

  • Understanding End Of Contract PRE & POST Clause

Can someone confirm or explain how the 2 yr contract works? I have two lines that contract expires on same date a few months from today (OCT 2010) . My questions are as follows:
1.- Do I need to notify VW in writing about canceling my account within a certain number of days/time before term ends?
2.-If No notification is formally made will I be going into a month-2-month service after that for both of my lines?

1.- Do I need to notify VW in writing about canceling my account within a certain number of days/time before term ends? Cancelling your account involves two factors.  First, you must cancel AFTER the contract end date to avoid any Early Termination Fees.  Second, you must cancel BEFORE the end of your billing cycle to avoid being charged for another full month of service.  Verizon will charge you for the entire month of service in the month you cancel.  What is your exact contract end date and billing date?  If you give them, we may be able to help you plan the day to cancel service as cheaply as possible.
Just as an addition to this, if you call cust care after your final contract month, they can post date your cancellation so that you don't roll into another billing cycle.  Verizon will only terminate service at the end of a billing cycle since you pay for service in advance.
2.-If No notification is formally made will I be going into a month-2-month service after that for both of my lines? If you don't explicity cancel your service, it will continue on a month-to-month basis until you ask for it to be cancelled.  The only difference between being "in-contract" and being "month-to-month" is that in the second case, you can cancel at any time without paying an Early Termination Fee.
    Exactly right
    In advance,
    Thank you.

  • Issue with pulling down one view controller and posting another one

I have a situation where I need to post a modal view when another one is closed by the user.
Say i have a EULA a user must accept before continuing and once the EULA is accepted I want to show a Splash screen which is another View controller.
So essentially when the user accepts the EULA, the EULAViewController calls its delegate's eulaAccepted method. In this case the delegate is a view controller inherited from UIViewController object.
    - (void) eulaAccepted {
// Dismiss the EULA controller first
    [self dismissModalViewController animated:YES];
// Now show the splash screen to the user
    SplashController *splash = [[SplashController alloc] init];
    [self presentModalViewController:splash animated:YES];
    [splash release];
When I do this, the code sort of goes into recursive loop with lot of the following in the stack:
    UIView(Hierarchy) _makeSubtreePerformSelector:withObject:withObject:copySublayers:
If I present the splashController in another method which I invoke after a certain delay then it works fine. But the timing is again an issue since it works on some devices and not on others. So I do not like that solution.
What is the best practice to handle such situations? I was under the impression that the OS would sequence these animations and perform one after the other and I would not have to worry about them but doesn't look like it works that way.
    Would greatly appreciate your inputs.
    TIA,
    -TRS

Here is what I did. I overrode the presentModalViewController:animated: and then if a controller is already posted, I start a thread which waits for the old one to be pulled down before the new one is posted.
There could still be a problem here if postModalViewController is called before another one has been posted since then self.modalViewController will still be nil. But the UIViewController can deal with it. My current issue is posting one when another is being pulled down, not posting 2 views at the same time
This works but I still would like to know if there is a better way to handle such situations.

    Hi Clemens,

I didn't have time to debug this but it would be helpful if you could make the netbeans project for this demo available.

  • I'm angry -- post removed by admins

I asked a simple question, looking for feedback from people who had NOT been having random shutdown issues. I got 14 replies. Now the post is removed. Why??
This makes me very angry. I'm trying to determine how to spend my money, yet more money following the tens of thousands of dollars I've spent on Apple since 1984. It's not like Apple doesn't know they have a problem with the shutdowns. Everyone knows! What's the point of censoring that type of post???

The point is you are creating poll, and it is not allowed by the term and agreement you must obtain before you post anything.
And they have the right to do so based on their judgement not by user / poster judgement.
We tried to warn people that post not a proper post by refering the term and inform them that they facing risk and consequence for being deleted or locked, but some other user suggest us to shut-up and this is what happen, post deleted and the poster whining about it.
    Peace out.
