3rd party Filters have all disappeared in latest version PS-CC 2014.2.2 (20141204 r310 x64)

I Upgraded just a few days ago, I think they were there yesterday (but I wasn't looking for them, so could be wrong). Now, they've all gone - Topaz, Nik, & others. So the upgrade may have magic'd them away . . .
Any ideas . . . ? . . .

well maybe, but first I wanted to see what anyone else with the same problem did . . . it's a pain, it shouldn't happen, exactly what testing are Adobe doing . . . but I digress . . . just like to see if anyone's found a "1-click solution" . . .

If you migrate your CC presets you should get your Actions, Pattens, Sahapes, Shapes etc back. Menu Edit>Presets>Migrare Presets. You need to copy or to install you 3rd Party plug-ins into CC 2014.

Quick Question on 64-Bit PS CS5 & 3rd Party Filters
I assume that if one installs the 64-bit version of PS CS5 (or above), that all older 3rd party Filters/Effects will have to either be upgraded (if possible), or replaced by a newer one. Is that correct?
In Premiere Pro CS5, that is the case with all Effects, and CODEC's, but I am about to install PS CS5 on a new computer, and just want to verify my suspicions.
As I have a ton of older Filters, and many are now long gone from the market, if that is the case, I might then install both the 32-bit and 64-bit, or keep my older PS CS2 handy, just for those.

HuntIf you want to use a plug-in in the 64 bit Photoshop, then yes - a plug-in has to be compiled for 64 bit operation. There is absolutely NO WAY to use a 32 bit plug-in with 64 bit Photoshop and vice versa.
Photoshop normally installs both a 32 and 64 bit version on a 64 bit machine, and older plug-ins are generally compatible with the 32 bit version. I have some old ones I still use, and they're probably never going to become available on 64 bits.
I suggest that unless you have a DIRE shortage of disk space, you install both 32 and 64 bit Photoshop. There are some intangible reasons... Sometimes bugs in OpenGL drivers show up in one and not the other. In other cases sometimes you might want a slightly different configuration for one than the other (e.g., for testing). For a long time, for example, I kept my 32 bit Photoshop CS5 with OpenGL disabled, so I could easily test things both with and without OpenGL.
Again, if you don't lack disk space I recommend keeping the old Photoshop (CS2) around as well. Sometimes you remember that something used to work a certain way, and you want to go back and check...

How do I install 3rd party filters in Motion 3? Also.. How can I remove folders in the 3rd party filters tab within Motion. Where is the 3rd Party Filters folder in the finder? thanks
I have all that, but I don't understand how to do it.. In the original Motion, there was a 3rd party location selection in the prefs.. The manual, on page 139, says Click Choose (next to the search path). I cannot find that... I can only find the CHOOSE for the Library Path.
On page 139 it states that the FX have to be Universal, but on page 963, it says it 3rd party filters only work on Power PCs...
I've also added a few "Untitled Folder"s to the 3rd Party Filters tab within Motion. How can I remove them? Do they physically sit on the hard drive somewhere?

safari ALWAYS allows 3rd party cookies and all cookies even when set to "block cookies: always" and "from 3rd party and advertisers." I have removed the website data, emptied the cache, reset safari, erased the history and it STILL dumps cookies. (For example, if I go to the usgov weather website only I end up with 11 cookies, the top one being "addthis.com" listed as cashed in local storage. But didn't I just empty the cache... multiple times??? Is my Safari application "broken" or "corrupt." Can the application be renewed so that it actually does what it is commanded to do?

Allowed a guest account and tested that. Lots of cache/cookies showed up for my "guest" that on face value, appeared 3rd party: the familiar "addthis.com" cache and others including a facebook cache and I did not, nor have ever, participated in facebook. But it could be that the "trusted" site my virtual guest visited had a relationship with facebook such that my COMPUTER "friended" facebook even though my guest and I most certainly would have declined the invitation :-) But what I really don't get is why washington post cookies keep showing up every single time. Isn't that the absolute definition of 3rd party cookies?!

On the other hand, when I logged out as guest, all data was automatically deleted, and when I relogged in as guest, it appeared that all the data, including cached data, had indeed been deleted. But when I relogged in as myself, the same old garbage reappeared in the cache and cookie bin. The fact is, there appears to be no such thing as truly and completely emptying ones cache, resetting ones browser, or deleting ones cookies. They are here to stay.
(And, oh yes, I have tried logging out, turning off and on the computer right after performing emptying tasks, etc.) -
I want to sync my 3rd party email to all of my MACs. If i delete an email on one device i would like it to delete on all the others. Anyone have any luck. Maybe icloud? How do i switch it for exsiting emails on Apple mail. thanks!

It does, provided it is an iCloud email account (which is an IMAP account). Email from non-iCloud email accounts such as Comcast, etc. is entirely separate and is not managed in any way by iCloud.

Unlike IMAP accounts, POP/POP3 accounts only deliver email to your devices. Any subsequent changes that you make an email on any of your devices such as deleting a message, marking it as read, etc., will not be synced to your other devices. I have got the new iPhone 5 and the iOS inside is suppose to have the facebook integration, i have upgraded to the latest version, now i get the facebook option in my notification centre, but i thougth i was going to get all the notifictaion , but sadly i have to log on to fb application to get all my notification updates , nothing is notifyied to me , is there a way to make this happen ??, if yes please help me out , i have tried all the options but doesnt seem to work im afraid ..

Three things come to mind:
1. I think you're implying when you travel away from your home to a more populated area, the cellular coverage improves and your iPhone works well. Is that right?
2. Do you have a case or some other obstruction over or near your iPhone's antenna? Have you tried moving or removing any possible obstructions near the antenna?
3. AT&T has a (free) app in the App Store called "Mark the Spot". You can use this app to report voice and/or data issues to AT&T, as well as keep up on progress they may be making in improving coverage in your area. Your trouble reports are geotagged (if you wish). -
Can't apply my 3rd party filters anymore in Photoshop CS5 after installing a twain driver
I installed a twain driver (i now realize this was a mistake) in my CS5 for the purpose of scanning within it. Since doing so, I can no longer apply my topaz filters (or any 3rd party filters for that matter). The filter interface opens fine, and i can see the filter on my image, however, when I click out of it, nothing is applied to my image. Help?!?
For a very quick fix, try removing the Adobe TWAIN plug-in or at least disabling it by closing Photoshop and typing a ~ (that's a tilde ~) in front of its name, then relaunch Photoshop.
That's why Adobe doesn't even include the now-optional TWAIN plug-in as part of the default installation of Photoshop any more.

I am experiencing blackouts on all pages. It can occur in blocks or be the whole page. It appears when running my cursor over the page or when scrolling. Scrolling again or leaving and then returning to the page sometimes helps. I have updated to the latest version and I have unchecked the hardware acceleration feature, however the problem remains.

Have you also tried Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away? [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

I'm trying to migrate from mobileMe to iCloud but I have Snow Leopard (the latest version). It looks like Lion is no longer available because Mountain Lion comes out next month (July). The problem is mobileMe ends on June 30th. How can I migrate?
My iphone and my ipad are compatible but when I try to go to icloud on my phone it says to do it on my computer.
I would like to have my calendar, contacts, etc.. all sync like they do now. Is there a way to upgrade before June 30th? If not, will the gap be an issue or will I just be able to buy mountain lion and sync everything?
Any suggestions?
Thank you!You can buy Lion in the App Store now, but move to iCloud now. If you wait to Mountain Lion, you will only have Mail in Snow Leopard, so you will lose syncing unless you use Lion or Mountain Lion. It's up to you

I used to send photos from my Lumix Tz-40 camera directly to my iPad using the camera's WIFI. It was all working well until I installed IOS7. The connection no longer works. The camera still keeps the iPad in its connection history. The camera's wifi network still appears when I select a WiFi network from the iPad but the Wifi status icon never appears on the iPad. So the connection is never made.

You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.
