Do you mean that you want to install application other than Route 66 mapping on your 6110 as there is nothing to stop you using Nokia Maps application and downloading regional maps with Nokia Maploader application?

Map security roles to group within LDAP using external 3rd Party LDAP

I'm haveing a problem mapping my logical role defined in my web.xml to a role within Active Directory. I'm currently authenticating using Active Directory succsfully, however after the user is authenticated I get a message from the OC4J container that my role can not be found. Can you map a logical role to group within Active Directory? Below are details about my configuration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the name of the group in AD (provide the DN) that you want to map the j2ee logical role WEBTA_J2EE_USER? What are the group search base and group mapping attribute?
When wmgraham logs into the app, the 3rd party ldap login module will attempt to query for the groups wmgraham is a member of - this is done using the group search base configuration for the provider.
In this example, the DN is "cn=wmgraham,ou=endusers,ou=itod,ou=endusers,ou=div20,ou=hq,dc=fbinet,dc=fbi" and likely user search base is set to "ou=endusers,ou=itod,ou=endusers,ou=div20,ou=hq,dc=fbinet,dc=fbi".
Assuming group search base is (say) "ou=groups,ou=itod,ou=endusers,ou=div20,ou=hq,dc=fbinet,dc=fbi" and and group mapping attr is "cn", then the role mapping you mention should work for group DN "cn=webta,ou=groups,ou=itod,ou=endusers,ou=div20,ou=hq,dc=fbinet,dc=fbi"

Using native Logic OSC support with 3rd party plug-ins & new touchOSC maps

Hi All.
Now that logic from 9.1.2 has native OSC support, I wandered if anyone has used it succesfully with their own customised touchOSC maps?
I'm not so interested in using touchsc as a transport/mixer for logic - which is what the default logic map that comes in touchosc s focused on, but more to control a few 3rd party plug-ins inside logic (FXPansion Geist & Strobe) - which would mean I need to create my own maps. It doesn't seem clear however if or how you can edit or use touchOSC maps which use the native OSC support bult into Logic
Anyone had any joy with this, or able top shed some light on possibilities & limitations?

For now they are OSCulator reliant, and that has some advantages: primarily that the user can easily remap anything that doesn't suit their needs. I've been using these for weeks and the combination has been rock solid so I wanted to go with it rather than wait for (and learn) the SDK.
The best part is that these bundles will include everything you need, including custom Kontakt multis, VSL matrix files and of course the OSCulator mappings - and building those may have caused carpal tunnel syndrome! Talk about a mammoth task... Anyway, the goal is for it to be an easy plug & play experience.
Trying to wrap up today or tomorrow - just waiting on some website reorganization...

Any 3rd party armband suitable for Nokia 5630?

Hi,
I've been thinking about getting a Nokia 5630 Comes With Music, but there's one thing that has been stopping me.
Isn't it little odd that this phone is targeted to music lovers, but there are no official armbands (for sports and jogging)? This is kind of a deal breaker to me, as I would love to listen to music whilst jogging.
I couldn't even find any 3rd party armbands, and with those there's always the risk that the phone doesn't fit snuggly (annoying when jogging and the phone keeps moving).
Please help me get rid of my money by recommending something to solve this problem :')

I have a Nokia N73 and a Parrot MKi9000. I wanted to use the Internet Radio application to listen to streaming radio via bluetooth AD2P connection. Nokia N73 firmware updated last, supports this standard, but only for applications installed directly with the operating system: (Standard Media Player and RealPlayer).
If you start only "Internet Radio" sound does not pass through the bluetooth connection, but I noticed that also enable the media player to hear the sum of the two sounds.
The solution I found is that of creating an MP3 file of about 30 minutes with a background of ambient music very low (not too much else if there is total absence of sound, such as interruptions in the buffer, the system soon after it disconnects). I set the standard player so that will loop through the MP3 in the background.
Then I turned on the application "Internet Radio" and select the station to play. Once started streaming the music you hear on the car speakers.
I think this trick may be useful not only to listen to the radio via the internet, but also for other applications that do not activate by default bluetooth AD2P streaming and other Nokia devices, or other Bluetooth hands-free systems.

Mapping XML into 3rd party system using XIF adapter

Hi Gurus,
First of all let me thank all of you for a tremondous contribution you are making for these kind of topics(CRM XIF) in SDN. I could solve half my problems by looking into your replies.
But I have a new & similar problem now. I am able to create and send XML file of order data into 3rd party middleware system using XIF & SOAP framework. But the 3rd party system(business connector) is unable to parse this XML file in their system. They keep getting the error message invalid XML file. I tried testing that myself and it gives me the error 'SOAP-ENV' error. They even tried some workarounds using some SOAP wrappers but it still didn't work. They are asking me to provide a DTD (data type definition) to this XML file generated out of SAP. Not sure if anyone has seen a similar problem like this but our interface is stuck at this point.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

We have figured out this problem for ourselves. The 3rd party system gets this error because SAP generated 2 XML tags in the beginning of the XML file which cannot be interpreted by XML spy or many XML parsing softwares. When we deleted the first 2 tags we stopped getting that error. But it wasn't a feasible solution for us to delete the first 2 lines in the XML file and then save it and then parse it. We preferred an alternative approach via IDOC's instead of processing XML files directly. Its also better because the size of XML file is much bigger (15 mega) than Idoc ( max of 4 mega bytes). But if you have to process XML files only then you cannot do that for real time or near real time processing as the parsing of XML file nearly takes more than 10 min. And it is definitely not preferred way especially if your middleware system has the capability to process Idocs from a middleware architectural stand point.

i am looking for a 3rd party sat nav that is compatible with my e51, i understand that i need an external receiver but am not sure which one would be the best for my phone?
ideally the mapping of the sat nav would be topographical as well as street mapping to maximise its use.

An indication of your worldwide location may help in choice of application here as some providers maps are better for particular regions. Nokia do produce two external Bluetooth GPS receivers LD-3W and LD-4W but cheaper alternatives are available, but it would be an idea to try before you buy as software updates to Nokia devices have been known in the past to introduce compatibility issues unfortunately.

I have a nokia e61. I have been trying to install 3rd party apps like newsgator, truphone, google maps etc on my phone. It dowloads the applications and immediately thereafter gives me a message 'Unable to install'. Any suggestions anyone.

Once 3rd party invoice is completed process as follows: (standard process)
sale order --> Purchase Requisition --> Purchase Order --> Goods Receipt --> Invoice Verification --> Customer Invoice.
When you post the customer invoice to accounting, in general system will update
1.Net Value 2. COGS (Cost of goods sold) 3. Sales Qty.
Now the scenario is when the vendor cancel his original invoice and reissue the invoice (due to change in price / change in stock item and so on..),
We have to cancel the customer invoice and issue credit memo invoice (without any reference) for the customer.
But the problem here is.. when we post the credit invoice to accounting, COGS will not be updated (currently they are adjusting COGS value manually).
How can we map this scenario ? while creating credit memo invoice we should consider some reference so that COGS should be updated.

So far it's clear that I need to activate and configure the service provider and consumer in soamanager.
The webservice then will be called by the 3rd party tool with corresponding data.
However, according to spro I need to define a value mapping for incoming/outgoing calls.
I do not understand this mapping... the WSDL of webservice ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API contains lots of fields, but in spro -> value mapping I can only define the following fields (which are hard coded in type pool AIICT):

Yes, you can connect the card via a jack situated on the back of the card - you just need a cable with stereo minijack and RCA. All the older Creative cards (since Li've!) have that SPDIF output on the back, on the form of a mini-jack. It is labeled as "digital".
The ONLY problem is that you will be able to send surround sound via SPDIF only if it is encoded DD or DTS on a DVD-ROM. The card itself will not encode surround sound CREATED in the PC. So, games, mp3's, CD's all will be stereo PCM. I guess that your old MoBo SPDIF was in the same situation (except for a SoundStorm integrated from nVidia that does DD 5. encoding on the fly). If you don't care about gaming performance, Turtle Beach make a card that does DolbyDigital encoding on-the-fly - they are calling this Dolby Digital Li've.
About mikes: one mike input is existing on the back of the card, and another one on the expansion bay (if you have platinum version). both of them will take only a el-cheapo (electret/condenser mike), not a proffesional one.

Using 3rd party tags in JSF application

I have a 3rd party tag library used previously in a Struts application to check if an user is authenticated / has logged in. The tag looks like this: <authn:authenticate userVarName="user" scope="session" errorPage="error.jsp" successPage="/faces/Page1.jsp"></authn:authenticate>. One unusual thing about the tag is that the uri for it references a jar file that includes the tld.
I can build the app okay but deployment fails with the following error:

The tag's tld is <tlib-version>1.1</tlib-version> <jsp-version>1.2</jsp-version>. I'm not sure if this is the problem or if 3rd party tags don't necessarily work within JSF (am using Creator) without modification. Does anyone have any advise on this? Should 3rd party tags work? If not, how do they need to be modified or turned into a component to work? This tag doesn't display anything - it checks if users have logged in and redirects them to another site to login if they did not log in.

Using 3rd party tags

I have a 3rd party tag library, used previously in Struts apps, that I would like to use in a JSF application. The tag checks if a user has logged in to the app and redirects to a login site if not. It doesn't display anything to the screen. Should a 3rd party tag that worked with JSP/Struts work with JSP without modification???? If not, how do I need to modifiy it? Please let me know!

Can't open any 3rd party apps - they crash on startup

I've been an iPhone owner since the first model (I have iPhone 4 now), and I've never seen anything like this.
Last night my iPhone ran out of charge. This morning, when I plugged it in it had to charge for a few minutes before it would turn on. Once it turned on, it said "waiting for activation: this may take a while". I thought this was strange, because my phone is already activated. I'm in an area with no reception, though, so maybe that was the issue.
Once the phone turned on, I tried to open some of my apps. But none of the 3rd party apps would open! When I tap them they appear to open but they shut down / crash right away. Strangely, however, all of the Apple apps that come with the phone will open without a problem (Maps, Mail, Safari, iCal, etc.).
I tried a hard reset but that didn't help. I'm away from home so I can't do an erase and store, and I really need access to some of the data in those apps.
Any ideas?

I did the same this week. I did a sync and now I can't access any of my apps. They appear to open then shut right back down. Have tried to resync, update and about anything else that may fix and nothing. Paying an aweful lot of money just for texting and phone usage. Anyone know how to take care of this issue? I have a 3G phone and been using it for a year without this problem
