4.0 to 4.5 plug in upgrade

I have a version of MyEclipse installed/configured.
When I got to Help->Serach for Flashbuilder updates it says I have the most current update. I do not, it's version 4.0
When I download the installer for 4.5 there's no option to just install the plugin...
Is it possible?
ps - I don't want to take up 1GB plus if I don't have to....(it's a VM and I can't increase the disk space)

Not being able to update software can (not necessarily always) be an indication the startup disk needs repairing.
Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks
Have you tried updating iTunes without the iPhone connected to your Mac??
Launch iTunes. From the menu bar top of your screen click iTunes > Check for Updates ...
And how much free space on the starutup disk? Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.

I'm so frustrated with having to convert images in a slowed up piece of crap canon software package and then wait another decade for the newest LR to load the images I could crap fire! Come on Adobe, where's the release? After a few grand you'd think we'd get a better response time. As for Canon, they are not consistant with community software sharing and can kiss my *!! because to leave Adobe hanging sux!
There should be new laws that penalize jerks that screw with workflow!

Missing plug in, upgrade plug in

I have CS4, and I mainly use Photoshop and InDesign. I tried to open an InDesign file the other day and I can't. I've never had trouble with this before. This is the message I get:
The document "..." uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available on your system. Do you want to open anyway?
The box above this message says: SHAREDCONTENT.RPLN
If I click "OK," to open anyway, this is the message I get:
Cannot open "...". Please upgrade your plug-ins to their latest versions, or upgrade to the latest version of Adobe InDesign.
And there is a long list of plug-ins above this that need to be updated. I ran the Adobe Updater and it says that "There are no updates available at this time." Therefore, I don't know what to do.

The file you are trying to open has been saved in a version newer than CS4. You can try downloading the trial version of the current ID and export the file from there to an IDML file to work with in CS4.

Plug ins upgrade ID4

How do I upgrade the plug ins on ID4? I am trying to open a file someone sent me created in In Design CS but it tells me I need to upgrade my plugins to open it

There is nothing you can upgrade that will allow CS4 to open a later version .indd file. Ask the person who supplied the file to send you a .idml file and a PDF (so you know what it is supposed to look like).

You did not mention about the system version. I could see the patches which are downloaded are for
46 C and 620 both.
By the way ST-PI and ST-A/PI can be applied in any sequence.

Clone to DEV fails after JRE plug-in upgrade to 1.7.0_75

DB - 11.2.0.3 - zLinux - s390
APP - 12.1.3 - Suse Linux - x86_64 - SP2
We're attempting to clone from our PROD environment to one of our DEV environments - and the clone steps fail.After laying the filesystem down, I run
perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier
and I receive the error......

Then based a note I saw online, I rename java executable to java_old and create a symbolic link to the location of java (/usr/bin/java)

R/3 - BI Plug-in Versions

Hi,
We are trying to extract data from R/3 to BW. Data load was working fine till we upgraded our R/3 system.
Now the data load fails with the tRFC error "IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS", " No Service for SAPPBW in Client 510 in the Integration Directory"...We are not using any Integration system hence its a normal IDOC Interface w/o IDOC adapter.
On BW side we can see Outbound IDOC's (RSRQST) being generated but no new IDOC received from R/3.
On R/3 side there are no IDOC received or sent, but there is an error message saying "Incomplete control parameter for communication with the BW" "A BW plug-in upgrade could be the cause of problem".
RFC's on both the ends are working fine, data source was replicated and the source system connection is ok and active. We suspect its a version conflict, the PI_BASIS plug-in on R/3 is of version 2006_1_700 and on BI side its the version is 2005_1_700.
Please let me know if these versions should be same or if you suspect some other Issue.

Pre-plugin upgrade queries related to extractor delta

Hi All,
as part of plug-in upgrade, i'm aware that as a pre-plugin activity the delta queue has to be emptied before the upgrade(LO and 0FI_AR_3 for eg).
Is it neccessary to pull in the records from datasources that uses the Delta process <b>'E'</b>(2LIS_03_S196 for eg) and <b>'CUBE'</b>(COPA) also ?

this is not necessary if OSS plug-in related note doesn't require this type of activity !
General rule says only that you have to delete (always!) SM13, RSA7 and LBWQ...when you performed this activity, you have only to check if there is some additional needs linked to your particular plug-in version installation!

Database 12C upgrade

Hi all ,
We are in RAC in Windows 2008 R2 in 64 bit machine. Our grid and database version is 11.2.0.3. My question is that If i upgrade my grid infrasturcture to 12.1,0 then will all my rac instances be PDB database under one CDB automatically? 11.2.0.3 does not have any CDB or PDB. Lets say there are instance A & B. If i upgrade to 12 , then will i administer the same way i did it in 11.2 ? Please explain. Thanks.

Upgrading a pre-12c database to 12c will not change the architecture - that is, the upgraded database will remain a non-CDB. You will have to plug the upgraded database into a separate CDB after the upgrade is completed

T43 cpu upgrade shuts down laptop

i have a t43 2668-43u. i tried to install intel m 770 cpu, unit shuts down without warning shortly after booting to windows xp sp3 (i was in the middle of 7 upgrades).
i put the intel m 750 back in and the unit ran fine for 3 days (powered on the whole time).
is there some adjustments i need to make for the 770 to run correctly?

Can't run JRE 1.2.2 applets once 1.4.1 installed

I have an applet developed with JDK 1.2.2 (uses 3rd-party jars) which was working perfectly with the 1.2.2 plug-in
that comes with the JDK.
The OBJECT tag specifies the dynamic versioning clsid clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93 (which is the
only possibility for 1.2.2?).
However, when users who have downloaded the 1.4.1 plug-in run the applet (quite apart from the fact that I have had
to solve a problem where plug-in 1.2.2 accepts PARAMs with initail _ but plug-in 1.4.1 does not!) they are
getting an ExceptionInInitializerError inside one of the 3rd-party libraries. I have reproduced this

In my opinion, this has something to do with the way service providers are handled. The 3rd party jar requires
a Security.insertProviderAt () call. My suspicion is that there is some kind of conflict with the JCE stuff
that comes bundled with JRE 1.4.1 to handle RSA signed applets. I found a similar conflict with the 1.2.2 JRE
when I tried to jarsign the 3rd-party libraries - I was getting, at runtime, either some kind of infinite loop hanging or
a stack overflow due to recursive function calls.
The fact that I can run the applet as a main and that I get the exact same error running the app from the DOS
prompt would indicate that this is a JRE 1.4.1 problem (surely the JREs are supposed to be downwardly-
compatible??!!! - i.e. the JRE 1.4 should run apps compiled with JDK 1.2.2 without any problem). Yes, I have
run the app as a main with JRE 1.2.2 and all works fine.
However, I could get around this if I could force the 1.2.2 plug-in to run instead of the 1.4.1 plug-in (quite
how the users are going to be able to get the 1.2.2 plug-in if they have plug-in 1.4.1 installed
without being Java experts is a problem I will leave
till later when I try to figure out how to make my applet an RSA signed applet (which if the documentation is
correct are only available from 1.3 onwards, hence solving this 1.4.1 problem would be VERY nice)).
But the problem is that once the 1.4.1 plug-in is installed, it always takes precedence over lower versions.
It's not obvious from the documentation whether older plug-in versions get executed when static versioning
is used for the clsid in the OBJECT tag. I can't be bothered to download a 1.3 plug-in and try.
However, unless I am mistaken, there is not a static versioning clsid for plug-in 1.2.2 ?????
In summary, once users download a plug-in version greater than 1.2.2 (presumably by running another applet from some
other site that requires eg 1.4.1 - I guess Sun's aim is to make the Plug-In as prevalent as possible, hence
this is not a far-fetched scenario), it is no longer possible for my applet to be run by a 1.2.2 JRE !!!!!!!
Because the 1.4.1 JRE is not downwardly-compatible, it can't run my 1.2.2-developed applet and my deployed
application is broke.
Unless I am missing something somewhere (which is possible because I am getting fed up of solving problem after
problem with the Plug-In - eg the mess of setting the right codebase to get different plug-ins to be downloaded
automatically - the HTML converter doesn't always set up the codebase correctly), this seems like a nightmare
for applet developers - from one day to the next your applications will break because of Sun's plug-in upgrading.
Please tell me there is a way to force the 1.2.2 JRE/plug-in to execute instead of 1.4.1 and that there is a
way for the 1.2.2 plug-in to be downloaded automatically by users even when they have 1.4.1 already installed.

Are you using signtool? I had a problem where applets stopped working when I went from JRE 1.3.1_01a to 1.3.1_07. I updated the signtool from 1.1 to 1.3 and now my applets run.

Datasource error- while activating it- warnings occured

Hi experts,
I'm using the standard BC datasource 3FI_SL_7R to load the data into the cubes 0rtl_c01 & 0rtl_c03.
while activating the data source in the R/3 the system displayed the below warnings:
"Generating DataSource 3FI_SL_7R"
"Delta process ABR for DataSource 3FI_SL_7Rrequires a cancellation field"
by ignoring them i configured the whole data flow, but while i scheduled the data for extraction it showed the following errors in the monitor error message:
"The extraction program does not support object"
I again activated the function module, extractor and the datasource(again with warnings), and done the whole thing once again but i came across the same error in the monitor.
Does any one have a solution for this PLZ HELP ME.

Reason and Prerequisites
Note the following prerequisites and restrictions:
This note only applies to totals record DataSources.
The R3 Release must be 4.0B or higher.
The delta method is currently only available for actual data.
The delta method uses the same transfer structure as the full upload, that is, only totals record fields are transferred.
The BALANCE field of the transfer structure is not filled. To get the non-cumulative for balance sheet accounts, you can either create a non-cumulative value in the BW System, which is updated via values DEBIT/CREDIT, or accumulate the transactions of period 0 to n in the query definition.
You must use the online through-posting for balance sheet accounts. You can create a separate InfoPackage that works in the full upload for balance sheet accounts that are transferred periodically.
The line item update must be active for currency conversions in the FI System.
Deleting transactions are not connected to the delta method:
a) Periodic CO data transfer (transaction 0KE0) (use transaction 1KEA instead because this transaction cancels the data instead of deleting it).
b) Rollup
c) Delete transaction data (transaction 0KE1)
d) Modification of SAPFGVTR balance carryforward program (transaction GVTR):
After you implement the modification from note 182201, the ZZVTR001 delete program used there is not connected for the carryforward balances (TSLVT, HSLVT, KSLVT fields and so on).
              This means:
              Do not use these transactions if a delta method is initialized for the same selections because the deletion is not updated for the BW system.
               If you absolutely have to use one of the transactions or you have used one of them by mistake, you must delete the initial requests and delta requests from the InfoCubes in the BW system and you must restart the delta method with an initial upload.
Posting is not allowed during the initial upload. You must take organizational measures to make sure that no posting takes place at that time because there is no corresponding system check at present.
If the delta method was initialized for a source system, you must regularly schedule a delta upload so that the delta queue does not overflow. If you want to stop the delta method you should also delete the initialization. You can display the delta queue in the source system via transaction RSA7.
Enter the selection for the actual data in the information package (0VTYPE = 010). Planning data can be transferred with another InfoPackage in the full upload.
Solution
The solution is contained in the standard version as of Release 4.7A. The solution may be implemented in advance for lower releases:
To activate the delta method for DataSource 0EC_PCA_1 and for 3FI_SL_* generated totals record DataSources, you must perform the following steps in the OLTP:

Steps 1 and 2 are delivered in Support Packages with note 485264 and no longer have to be executed with the corresponding Support Package status.
1. Create the following function modules in accordance with the correction instructions:
a) OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00005030_P in function group BFFM2 (4.0B - 4.5B)
                           or in function group BFFM3 according to note 450079 (4.6B - 4.6C)
b) OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00005040_P in function group BFFM2 (4.0B - 4.5B)
                           or in function group BFFM3 according to note 450079 (4.6B - 4.6C)
c) SAMPLE_PROCESS_00005030 in function group BFFMSMPL2 (4.0B - 4.5B)

4. Regenerate the update modules
a) Execute report SAPFGIDB using transaction SE38 with process type 1
b) Execute report RGUGVTR0 using transaction SE38 (up to and including Release 4.6B)
5. Implement the corrections from note 325824 (only Release 4.6C)
6. Execute report GBIWDGEN by using transaction SE38 (you must implement note 407091 beforehand up to and including P2001.1)
7. Change the data record in table ROOSOURCE for OLTPSOURCE = 0EC_PCA_1 and OBJVERS = A in field DELTA to 'ABR'. This may be done using report ZPCA_DELTA_FOR_0EC_PCA_1. Follow the same procedure for an FI-SL totals record DataSource.
As of PI 2003.1, the delta mode 'ADDD' is used instead of 'ABR'; an indicator is also set in the T881IS_PI control table. If you have installed Plug-In Release 2003.1 or higher, use the attached ZGBIWPI_DELTA report instead of the ZPCA_DELTA_FOR_0EC_PCA_1 report.
8. Replicate the DataSource in the BW System and activate it.
Import the changes into the production system via transports and then perform steps 4, 6, 7 and 8 again.
You will have to repeat step 6 again if you encounter problems after the Plug-In upgrade.
When you upgrade the source system to Release 4.7, discard the modification of reports FGIDBF24, FGVTRF20 and RGUGVTR0 during the data comparison and use the delivered version of these programs. If you use this note for FI-SL DataSources, call transaction BW03 once and accept the conversion of the DataSources in the dialog box that appears. If you do so, an initialized delta method will continue to run successfully even after you upgrade the source system.

Pioneer DEH-800BT not working after iOS4 "error 11"

My Pioneer car stereo will no longer recognise my iPhone - only get "Error 11" on the head unit display since my iOS4 update. Anyone else got same problem ? Do Apple or Pioneer have a fix ?

I'm experiencing the same problem on my Pioneer DEH-3200UB. Worked fine prior to the update (all controls on my steering wheel as well) now when I plug my upgraded iOS4 3Gs iPhone into the deck, I get an Error-11. I did speak with Pioneer regarding this issue and they said it was a problem that had to be fixed by Apple. I spoke with Apple support right after speaking with Pioneer and Apple support stated that they can't support every device out there, but they may have a fix for it, or may not, in the future.
Apple support continued to say that I should post feedback on the iPhone support section of the website as the engineers do read those. I urge everyone that has this issue to post feedback on the compatibility section of the iPhone support site to draw attention to this so it gets addressed quickly.
I asked the Apple support rep if there was a way to revert back and was told "No" that Apple does not support going backwards and has removed all the old OS software from their site so it can't be done ... <pause> .. by Apple. He did say that there was "sites on the Internet" that have instructions and ways to go back to the old software and continued to state that it would not violate the terms of my agreement. We'll see about that when I bring my brick into the Apple store and ask for a new phone.
Apple is responsible to fix this problem or provide a work-around, even if it is a way to revert back to the old software. There is nothing in iOS 4 that I can't live without, and it really comes down to the point that there is nothing on a iPhone that I can't live without.
I'm not going to replace my car audio deck every time Apple puts out an update - I'll replace my phone.
Call support and post feedback. It's the only way to get it fixed. In the meantime I'm researching Android/Pioneer compatibility.
