4.1 Update. Freezing apps and Other issues

This 4.1 has given me nothing but trouble on my 3GS. Apps constantly
Freeze and crash. I use a stereo cable in my Mazda to play music and
All it does is skip to end of song then back to middle and play random
Parts of songs then it skips to another song. Also voice control appears out
Of nowhere without me touching the phone.
HELLLLLLLLLPPPP !!!!!!!!!!

I am also experiencing app freezes, especially with the New York Times app which no longer seems capable of getting through a reading session without two freezes.
But I also having a lot of app that just quit without warning.
I hope this is something that is on the To-Do list for iOS 4.2

ITunes update i Cal and other issues

After updating to iTunes 10.4.1 the other day I can no longer sync my calendar events from my computer to my iPhone. When I plug in the phone, it takes away all the events in my calendar. Additionally, the update seems to have created problems with my "Mail" app. Whereas previous to the update I had two accounts--mine and my wife's--I now have four, and mail is bringing up dozens and dozens of old emails into my new mail box. Anybody else with the same issues? Is Apple preparing another update?

Intel iMac freezes, reboots and other issues

Intel iMac 17" 1.83 Ghz model (Had for a while now)
1 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM installed (Mac detects this fine)
Mac OS X 10.4.8
Beginning yesterday, the Mac froze when shutting World of Warcraft (which had been installed and working for at least two months). Computer completely hung. Restarted machine.
A few minutes later, the machine just switched itself off (or appeared to) - screen goes black. I held in power button for five seconds until I heard a click in the machine. This has happened repeatedly.
One time, the machine froze and the monitor refreshed at a visible rate (I could see the scan line) - each time the screen got darker.
Often, it will turn on, but the OS won't load unless I hold Alt down, or if I use OptionAlt+PR.
Ran disk utility from the install disk, only minor issues, all fixed. The problem of turning off still occurred.
Nothing in the kernel panic log. Diagnostics in System Profiler is saying it passes on the power on self test.
The confusing thing is, that after last night, I pulled the plug out, went to bed, praying to the computer fairy to fix it. This morning, it ran fine continuously for about 8 hours, running WoW, IRC app, iTunes etc. all fine.
Could it be a power supply issue? Is the thing overheating (the Mac is up to date with EFI Firmware update and SFC Firmware update).
I'm utterly stumped as to what's causing it. I don't want to send the thing off as then I'm without a computer.
Any ideas or advice?

You could try this.
Back up all data.Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select

I have tried enable and disable restriction, connecting my phone to my laptop and sync from my computer and none of them is working. What should i do?

Often when this type of thing occurs with missing default apps it is due to a situation where you are unable to 'see' the apps. If you will go to your front display of your device go to settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen layout.
This reset allows for your apps that have for whatever reason been hidden in such an area as you arn't able to find them now to be returned to the area as which they were when you first had the device.
As far as the missing Apps that were purchased through the Apps Store if you will go to settings>itunes and Apps store and click where it reads about automatcally downloading apps clicking on the toggle switch AND clicking on the toggle switch which allows for cellular data to be enabled this then will effectively automatically download all apps to your device that was purchased from the App Store.

Elite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update

DElite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update <font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="4">Elite Pro CMSS-3D control (on I/O console)no longer controls CMSS-3D.
The only time it works is if the original drivers are installed from the installation CD.
ANY other drivers stop the control on the Elite Pro I/O console from having any effect on CMSS-3D.
Also at one time when I cotrolled volume, CMSS-3D(original drivers), EAX and Crystalizer from the Elite Pro I/O controls then I had on screen display of said control that was being moved(on I/O console).
Now regardless of what drivers are installed, there?are no longer any on screen indicators.
The indicators looked like the ones that show when using the remote controller.
Anyone have any ideas?

iTunes is asking for the security code on your credit card for some reason. Do you use a credit card with iTunes?
Whether you made a purchase or not, you will most likely still have to get this issue resolved with iTunes support before you can uodate or download apps again. You should contact iTunes support and tell them what you are experincing.
Go here and then tap on Purchases, Billing and Redemption.

Then tap on iTunes Account Store Billing or Unable to Purchase from iTunes Store. Then tap Email and start a dialog with iTunes Support that way.

My iPad 2 had trouble updating an app and now seems to be running slower

Earlier this evening, my iPad 2 had an app update notification for words with friends hd free. I clicked the update but everything stalled. It took forever to update the app and now my entire iPad seems to be running slow. I have tried resetting it, updating it to 4.3.2 and nothing seems to work. Should I perform a factory restore?

The whole iTunes store had issues all day, nothing was downloadable (video, apps,etc).
It had nothing to do with your iPad.
A reinstall should still put you at 4.3.2.

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.

If this app was bought by your sister with her Apple ID, only her ID can update the app.

Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap on the ID and sign out. Then tap on "sign in" and sign in with the correct account.

Why is itunes keeping me from updating my apps and charging me a dollar more for an app that I gifted?

I had about $1.03 in a debit card that I had forgotten about and used a dollar to gift an app to someone. That was a week ago, now I checked itunes to update my apps and it won't let me because my card has been declined and that it's invalid. It says that I owe a dollar for the app that was already bought (the dollar is gone from my account, I've checked) and downloaded. Now I can't remove my card or update any of my apps.

If you have a card on your account then it has to be valid, it will be checked when you try to download items (if the card doesn't have money on it then it will fail the validation). How have you tried to remove the card, are you logging into the account separate to trying to download the updates, does that not give you the 'none' option : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support ?
(Creating a new account won't help with downloading updates to your existing apps, you would have to delete them and rebuy them with a new account.)

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
