4:3 clip still showing up as Anamorphic in Sequence
I know this is too simple.
But, I have been over and over the settings and it still shows up as Anamorphic.
I'm working a test shoot for a project to give the client an example of different frame rates and letterbox vs 4:3.
But when I drag the 4:3 into it's own sequence with the settings unchecked for anamorphic --> it still is being automatically stretched out and letterboxed.

not goofy, correct behaviour. If a clip is marked as anamorphic (or not) when it's edited into a sequence, it'll stay that way even if you alter the master clip in the browser. If you want to change it after adding it to a sequence you have to remove attributes as you suggest. Alternatively you can double-click the clip in the timeline and then adjust the distort settings from the motion tab in the source monitor. This gives you more control than simply off and on.

Why do video clips in purchased v12 still show "created with trial version"
I'm new to Premiere so bear with me. I trialled elements v12, liked it and purchased a download. When I import clips they still show "created with trial version". I removed all traces I could find of the trial version before installing the new one so I'm baffled.
Can someone please enlighten me?

Old address still showing in contact after I edit with new address. However, it shows correct address when in edit mode. Is this a new glitch on the iPhone iOS 7?
1) Is it a video clip? Something you recognize? To be clear, it's displaying at a point in your exported movie but doesn't appear at all in the sequence?
2) What are your sequence settings? Right-click your sequence and choose "Item Properties" to verify. -
Cut audio still "shows" at end of movie
The audio clip I pasted into my movie extended beyond the end of the movie. I cut it to end exactly where the clips end, saved, emptied trash, and saved again (for good measure). The eliminated audio still shows in white on the time line that runs along the bottom of the viewing screen, and I can't get it to go away. I tried exiting iMovie, but it is still there when I open it. How can I eliminate the no-longer-existant audio from the end of my movie?

Actually your question is not related to the original poster's. It would have been better to post a new topic, otherwise your query gets 'buried'.
Older versions of iMovie did trash unused portions of source clips, but this sometimes led to a corruption of the project. iMovie HD employs 'non-destructive' editing (as do high-end editing apps). This means that even if only a small portion of a source clip is used, the ENTIRE source clip is retained - 'trashing' in this case does not actually trash at all. This obviously increases the storage demands of the project! Note: if no part of a clip is used, then it can be trashed and permanently removed.
Are there solutions? Best approach is to procure a large external drive! Sharing to full quality QT and then re-importing to a new project, then trashing the original, saves space, but any titles etc added beforehand can of course no longer be edited. It's also a good idea to preview your source tape, and then import only those portions that will be used - often there is poor quality footage, re-takes etc that need not be imported. You can also control the maximum length of clips in iMovie Preferences.

I deleted a contact, but they still show up in my text options to send. I would like to delete the contact from my texts too.
No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents". -

We can not clear all recents(30 recents call). When Tango show "No recents call". We touch other buttons and come back to Recents button again. It still show 30 recents call.

I don't know what to do. My iPhone 4 just all of a sudden had a blank white screen. It still shows the bar at the top with the signal, time, and battery life. But the rest of the screen is white. If I touch the screen it acts like it's selecting something and gives me the choice to "Copy". It will still charge when I plug it up, but i cannot turn it off or lock the screen. I tried leaving it alone for awhile to see if it will lock on its own, like it normally would, and all it does is dim the screen. I guess im going to try to just let it die, and then see what happens, but if anyone else has any suggestions (other than taking it in to be looked at or getting a new phone) I would greatly appreciate it!
Any number of things could have caused the phone to do this. If after the reset you are experiencing additional problems, the next step in the troubleshooting process is a restore from a backup. Make sure you have one before you start the restore process. If that does not improve things, then you may have to restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data off the phone. Make sure all of your pictures are imported to the computer and all other data is synced to supported applications on the computer before restoring as new. The information below may be able to answer your questions about how to delete songs from your iPhone:
Deleting songs downloaded to your device
Tap the Music app.
Tap More > Songs at the bottom.
Scroll or search for the song you would like to delete from your device.
Swipe right to left on the song, and then tap Delete.
Note: You must be in Artists, Songs, or Albums view to delete songs from your device. Deleting from a playlist won't remove a song from your iOS device.

Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
If you have iOS 7, this will delete the song from local storage, but the song will still appear with a cloud symbol in the Music app, as you've noticed. To hide the iTunes in the Cloud purchases, navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store, and disable "Show All: Music”
There may be a few orphaned songs on your iPhone that were partially downloaded or corrupted in some way. If that is the case, you can erase all of the music from your phone. Follow the instructions below and select the Music app under Usage:

When I did my itunes match, there were some duplicated albums and songs in my library. I have gone back into my library from my computer, and deleted the duplicates. When I did so, itunes did not ask me if I wanted to delete them from the cloud. They are still showing up on my iphone as duplicates in the cloud. What can I do to get them from showing up in my iphone?
They are not on the iphone in the first place. It is just a setting that allows you to see the songs that are available in icloud, but not on your iphone. If you turn the setting to off, then you no longer see the songs that are in icloud, but NOT on your iphone.

Deleted videos from iphoto but they are still showing up in the finder?
I deleted all of my videos from iPhoto and moved them to an external hard drive because I wanted to free up some space on my MacBook Air. The files are no longer visible in the iPhoto application, but for some reason, when I look at the storage space on my computer, it is still showing that I have 8GB of movies on my computer. If I search in the Finder, it is showing that a lot of these videos that I deleted from iPhoto are still in a "Masters" folder in iPhoto. I am confused, though, because if I open iPhoto, the videos are not in there. I want these video files to be deleted for good - can I just go in to the "Masters" folder in the Finder and delete them there? I've read not to delete anything from iPhoto in the Finder, though. So, getting very frustrated because I'm not sure why these files aren't fully deleted off my computer. Any suggestions?
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
