4.7 User exit help

In 4.6b if you had to make a change in a user exit you found the exit, registered it and made your change. In 4.7 you have to put your change in a Z include and have it called by a function. I have put my code in the include but I cannot seem to get it called any suggestions

You must activate the exit in CMOD/SMOD transactions.

Hi All,
    UPF_VARIABLE_USER_EXIT is example for user exit for variable of type characteristic. If variable type is attribute then is there any such example available?
    Also characteristic user exit variable "VALUE(ITO_CHANM) TYPE UPC_YTO_CHA" is defined for import. Similar statement for "ITO_ATTR" is necessary, then what will be type for this.

For the "ITO_ATTR" TYPE UPC_YTO_ATTR
you can find all the details of import and export parameters in the F1 help of exit variable.
These are steps to find import and export parameters for exit function module.
Step 1 : Take any Planning area ,double click on that area.
Step 2 : go to the varibles tab ,and select one of your exit variable.
step 3 : Double click on the exit variable ,place the cursor on the exit function module name check box then press F1 ,then you will get details of how many types of exit varibles we can create in the BPS,and what are the import and export parameters for exit function module.

Needs R/3 User-exit help when PO/PR created in Backend system

Hi SRM/MM Experts,
We are using ERP2005 and SRM 5.0 with classic scenario. Shopping cart converts the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order in the backend system.
R/3 system had a custom logic to blank out the Account assignment category, cost center information when particular material group(ZZZZ0001), plant(Z0001) and storage location(Z01) used in the PO/PR that are created by SRM SC. The custom logic is used in user-exit- EXIT_SAPLMEWP_002- INCLUDE ZXMEWU06 and
EXIT_SAPLMEWQ_001-INCLUDE ZXMEWU04 of R/3 system. But now this custom functionality is not working. And I found out that when PO/PR is created by SRMs SC, include- ZXMEWU06 & ZXMEWU04 are not being called.
In which user-exit we should put custom logic in the R/3 system, so that it will be called for blanking out the Account assignment information, when SC is converted into PO/PR in the backend system

I figured out that we have to use user-exit:EXIT_SAPL2012_003 in R/3 system. Now here is what I am doing... If it is at non-stock material and it uses account assignment category-K and Cost Center-Z1000001, then I am blanking out the POITEM-ACCTASSCAT and POACCOUNT-DELETE_IND = 'X', but still it is not blanking out or deleting the account assignment information from PO.
Please let me know if this is the correct BADI to use to blank out the account assignment information in PO created by SC(SRM 5.0) in ECC 6.0. If yes, what should I need to do to blank out the account assignment information.

User Exits-Help Needed

Hi friends,
I need a small help.I am implementing a custom enhancement for Sales Orders.
For this,I am using the User Exit SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in the standard program MV45FZZ(Include in SAPMV45A).I wrote a small logic,that gets triggered each time a Sales Order is created or Changed through VA01 or VA02 respectively.
For VA02 i.e., change my logic works pretty well.I am capturing the current Sales Order Number using XVBAP-VBELN and implementing my logic.
But while creation i.e., VA01,I am using the same logic and trying to capture current Sales Order through XVBAP-VBELN(not yet saved).
But,XVBAP-VBELN is blank when I am debugging.
Where does the Sales Order Number get saved,while it is being created i.e., before being saved.

Vl31n & Vl32n user-exits checking to identify which one helps...how to do

I have to make sure that the manufacturing date given while batch split has to be updated in the document details.
Basically I have found 17user exits under vl31n tcode...
except one user-exit all the other user-exits are not activated.
I am not expert in user-exits.. I want to activate all the user exits and test any user-exits helps me.
For that what I need to do initially . Could you please help me ..?

Hi,
In VL31 program put break point at all occurrances of function module CALL-CUTOMER .Each CALL-CUSTOMER refers to an enahancement component in a user exit. When transaction is running it goes into each of this CALL-CUSTOMER function module. Check whether your required functionality can be achieved in that exit. After finding correct user exit, create project for that and proceed.

How to implement F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST in search help User Exit?

Hi,
I need to enhanse search help and add F4 functionality to display list of company codes when cursor is in PBUKR field. I put F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST
into the user exit but nothing works.
I get error that PROCESS is not defined. If I remove that line there is no error but nothing works.
Can someone tell me what is wrong in the code below.

User Exit Or BADi for Ship-to-Party's Transportation Zone F4 Help in VA01

Dear Experts,
I want to change the F4 help of Transportation Zone in Ship-to-Party Address in VA01.
I have to show the possible entries from Z table which is compared by the city of that particular customer.
Explanation:
1. Go to Transaction VA01.
2. Enter the values in first screen and Enter.
3. select the sold to party and ship to party and Enter.
4. Enter any item in item level.
5. Press Display Doc. Header ICON.
6. Go to partners tab.
7. Double click on Ship to party.
8. One Pop up screen will open. (ie. Address from Master Data for Ship-to-Party (Document Header).
9. Press F4 help for the field Transportation Zone. (It will show the possible entries from the table TZONE (All records).
10. I want to show the possible entries only for that particular city.(For a particular city there may be more than one transportation zone. I will maintain these records in Z table ).
I have tried all user exit from the program MV45AFZZ and ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN BAdI. But I could not get the solution.
Please help help me to do this.

ASk your basis regarding the CI_CSKB table active issue, and first of all i dont see any table with the name CI_CSKB.
And check this exit-COOMKS03 whether it works for your screen exits.

Help needed in Substitution & User Exit.

Hi Experts,
I have a peculiar recuirement. In the Vendor Invoide Creation transaction (FB60), if you try to create a Invoice/Credit memo for a "One Time Vendor", a pop up window comes asking Bank and Address data.
The user need to enter the bank key and acc no and need to substitute the name, address fields in this pop up window screen, with some data fetched from custom DB tables according to the bank keys.
Since the pop up screen fields are from structure BSEC, I cant really do the substitution them from OBBH (Since it only allows BSEG & BKPF fields to be substituted !! ).
Also since the Only user exit (ZXCPDU01) avaliable in FB60 does not have any Export table, I can send the values back to the screen.
Can any one of you by any luck have a feasible solution for this ?

Help needed in "V45A0003" User Exit

Hello All,
I have one problem doing Userexit "V45A0003" for VA01.
I want to disable one field in VA01 Screen no. "4900" when order type is "RE". I try mentioned Exit for the same and i am able to disable that field for all order type but i am unable to get order type value and unable to disable field, so i want your valuable help to get the order type value given at very first screen (101) of VA01.
So, Please i request all of you to help me in this.

If you want to get the Sales order no in your exit you can make use of below code.
data:wa_vbak type vbak.
field-symbol <FS> type any.
ASSIGN (' (SAPMV45A)VBAK') to <FS>.
If sy-subrc eq 0 and <FS> is assigned.
wa_vbak = <fs>.
endif.
Now in wa_vbak-AUART you will get the sales order type given initial screen of sales order.
You can also use below form in User exit include MV45AFZZ for your requirement.
FORM userexit_field_modification.
ENDFORM.
Here you will all sales order data and no need to use above field symbol assignment to read vbak data.

Help on how to assign a field as mandatory in MIRO and name of user exit

the requirement is...
In MIRO,the Incoimg invoice should not be posted without an empty field of amount(WRBTR) in the Basic Data.Currently as per std,it's not a mandatory field and can be posted by not entering any amount in that.So, either we have to make it as a mandatory field or should restrict not to saving the data if posting of empty field.(Not giving any amount)***seems,it tells the user to give the amount as mandatory.
How to do this.....if its coming under the USER Exit object...pls post both how to get the std program and enhancement assignment(it asks while creating user exit in CMOD) also for user exit.

Hi,
Double click the screen number in the table maintainece generator for which you want to make the field mandatory. Goto element list tab, in that goto the special attributes tab, there you change the input column value of the field to required from the drop down list and save, activate. Now the field will be mandatory in the table maintainence screen.
OR
1) Make the field as a KEY field in the table, If Possible.
2) If the field can't be made as a part of the key field, then you have to create Event for the Table. Goto the table maintenance generator. Goto Environment->Modification->Event and add your logic in the required event.
Make change in the Screen will not help i think because whenever the Table maintenance is regenerated, the changes will be reverted back.

Need selection screen values in Search help user exit in same report

Hi Experts,
I am using Logical Data Base PNP.
Created a custom search help to validate the records for IT000 based on the selection screen dates.
Enter the DATEs for Data Selection Period and Person selection period in the selection screen.
When I for search help for PERNR field in the same report, I need the selectin screen DATE values to be in user-exit of search help.
This will help me in validating the records for specific employees within the date range of given DATE in selectin period.
As of now it's picking the employees based on the DATE selection of selection screen,

Urgent Help in User-Exit for MM!

Hi,
1. I am writing code in the Exit "EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001".
2. I have to pop-up error/warning messages for incorrect data entered in various fields/screens/views of MM01/MM02 transaction.
3. The Exit gets triggered when i press "SAVE" after modification.
4. When I create the Classification View, i enter the class type as "001" for material class.
5. Then i need to enter a value "Z_Product" in the class column(on the screen in classification view). This class is the "Product Class" (description).
 My problem is to find this value that i enter on screen before "Save" i.e. when i am creating material for the first time in MM01, i dont want the error message to pop-up if i am entering any value in the class column and also entering values in the internal characteristics for that class.
 Basically i want to read the values (before "SAVe") entered in the class column as well as want to know the values for the internal characteristics of the class.
 For Class, the std. field is "RMCLF-Class" , but i have no buffer field available in my exit that contains the value for the Class. I have also tried using "Get parameter ID", but it doesnt work.
 For Internal Characteristic values (of the class) that are entered in the tab(that appears on pressing "Enter" after filling the Class value) below the Class tab, i am fetching data from std. table AUSP to check for corresponding entries for that particular material number....but this table will get updated only after "SAVE" and so i would be able to read the values only in MM02.
Please help me in finding out a way for reading the class values & Characteristic values in my user-exit.

Hi Ronak.
You can try with 'EXIT_SAPLCLFM_002' (CLFM0002). This is the exit for the classification view. You can get this for the transaction CL22N / CL24N.
This is also called in MM01 for classification values. This classification details are cross application components. So This is also called from other transaction.
