4 Beep still, no problems at all though
I get four beeps when i boot, it was 2 now its four for no reason.
have no idea. What it means. First someone suggested it was my ram, now i am clueless.
I have no OS problems what-so-ever and never even had a blue screen or crash or lag, everything runs fine.

Yes it's true mate as the USB make the beep sound whenever there is any USB devices are connected to it. GD luck.

Hi, I still have problems reinstalling Final Cut Pro even though I followed these steps.
Reason why I have to reinstall is because I have repaired my Macbook Pro hard drive at a Mac Authorized Repair.
Short history of repair and my Final Cut Pro installation:
1. Macbook Pro stopped working, sendt it for repair. Had the Final Cut Pro installed,
2. Desided to try a MiniMac and recovered my backup with Time Machine, got the Final Cut Pro working.
3. Got my Macbook Pro back from repair, did backup on this one as well. But this time only the files not the Applications.
4. Removed the files as mentioned in HT5149. Didn´t find "com.apple.motionapp.plist" to remove though, but the others I found.
5. When I try to install Final Cut Pro from App Store, it downloads the application as planned. But after download it won´t show in the Application folder nor in the downloads folder, nor will it start an installation prosess. If I pause the installation in App Store, I can see the Final Cut Pro icon in my Dock. (But, as mentioned, after installation it won´t show neither here or in the Applications folder).
Any suggestions on what I should try now?
Thanks for any reply, I´m in deep water here...Sounds like there is a file you're not getting. Never do a removal manually. It's so time consuming and a pain. There's a very easy and fast way to do this, safely, properly.
Get the free "Final Cut Remover" app from Digital Rebellion (dot com), use this to remove FCP X.
Reboot the Mac.
Download from scratch.
If you're not seeing FCP X in your app folder, run Disk Utility to Repair all drives.
If that doesn't help, try running Disk Warrior from Altsoft to repair the directories on all drives. -
I have an iphone 4. Recently I have been unable to receive pictures or normal texts. All texts come in as ichat messages. The phone is slow and it takes a while to get the messages. I've reset the phone and followed the steps on the support page. Still having problems! Any suggestions??

I turned off my phone and when I turned it back on, all my apps were deleted. I tried to reinstall my apps, but it wouldn't let me. My storage still remained the same even though, all my apps were deleted. How can I get my apps back?
Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.

I have apple iPhone 4S upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 and everything was working fine suddenly my Wifi was not connecting and found the wifi on/off button is greyed out and to enable it I tried all resets but still my problem have not solved, still wifi is off
Same here.... No fix. Replacing is the option apparently and if you're out of warranty, you're SOL. That was as per the "Genius" at Apple.

In IOS7 none of my YouTube movies show up on my site build with iWeb and its YouTube widget. On an iPad running IOS6 the site still works fine, and all movies play well. What is going on,and what can I do to solve this problem ???

I am still having problems with my music videos freezing (all purchased on iTunes) since the update. The first day of the update, no problems...played 6 hours of music videos and no freezing. Today...every single video froze!!! So frustrating! I rebooted, restarted, powered down and no help. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
Much easier with a mouse or touch pad. -

I currently have 14,181 contacts that are on my computer, which an apple tech was nice enough to show me how to transfer all my contacts from my mac 2 "iCloud " account all though when ever I log into my "iCloud" account from a different web browser it still only shows 13,032. Meanwhile on my mac book pro, the "icloud" contact is still spinning like its trying to update the rest of the missing contacts. I have let the computer run for 2 days straight and still no progress. Is there a limit to how many contacts I store on "iCloud" I have upgraded to the extra 25 gigs per year. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it, because its also slowing down my mac book pro significantly causing it hard to do any other task on my computer....Any advice or help would be again greatly appreciated.
On the surface, it doesn't sound like you're reaching a limit in the number of contacts you can have.
I would first create a contacts archive (file >> export) for a backup. Then, go to system preferences >> icloud and uncheck contacts. Reboot. Return to those preferences and recheck contacts.
Also, review http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4489 just in case you have some contact cards that are reaching a different limitation. -
I am going through the process of unlocking my iphone 4 and have had all the go aheads from my service provider but i am still having problems when i plug the phone into itunes. Has anyone else had this problem??

My Time Capsule has been backing up without any problems and all of a sudden it stops reading on my computer. The external hard drive beeps three times and the motter wont run within. The light that usually blinks while in use is no longer blinking and is on constant. What happened?

Sorry we are unclear as to the external hard drive and its connection to the TC..
For instance the light that blinks.. is that the TC or external hard disk or what.
Did you try just rebooting / restart the whole network in correct order.. modem.. router / TC.. external drive.. clients with 2min gap between each.
Are you actually running Snow Leopard as the profile states?
How old is the TC? -
