4 new iphones ALL have antenna problem, Proximity sensor, etc...
After receiving 4 new iPhones (family Plan) yesterday I activated (no problems) and right away calls start dropping. Calls that I made everyday from the same part of my house on my older 3G with no problem all of a sudden drop and or have bad connections. I have reproduced this problem with all 4 phones. Not to mention the number of times I put people on hold or mute with my cheek. Reception is horrible. Feel foolish after upgrading 4 phones to get this level of service. Apple has a phrase for people like me "good customer" Any thoughts... Oh forgot to mention that one of the phones will only accept the charger cord about 3/4 of the way into the socket thereby only charging some of the time!

Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -
I have a new iPhone and have kept my old one to play music in another room. I have recently updated my software on the new iPhone and when it backed up it backed up to the old iPhone, I have therefore lost pictures, messages and apps from my new iPhone as it has backed up to the last session of the old phone, how can I get all my new stuff back and stop it from happening again?

No such thing has occurred. iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.

Copy your iTunes Library from your Old computer, or it’s Backup, to your New computer...

From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
An Added Bonus is that you will then have a Backup of iTunes...

I have a new iPhone 5C, have the sounds alerts set up. But I'm not getting sound alerts for new voicemail, only the red circle on the screen. How can I make the sound alert work?
I have had this same problem for weeks now with my 4S. I just got a new 5S after being extremely frustrated and the same thing - no sounds. After searching posts all over, I couldn't find a solution. I just told my friend of the issue and he asked "Do you have the Do Not Distrub on?" I didn't even know such a function existed. Upon looking that was exactly the issue.
To resolve, go to Settings> Do Not Disturb> Manual. If it is green, turn it off. You will now get phone calls and text alerts.
This functionality is also on your quick access utility menu (slide up menu). I assume this is how it was enabled on my phone.
I will post on other sites since I searched for weeks for this solution and didn't see it anywhere. Good luck! -
Why am I unable to login to the Apple Support site from my iPhone, but have no problem from my desktop?

Me and my sister use the same itunes but on my new iphone i have a different apple id. how do i hook up my iphone to get the music from her account on to my iphone because my iphone wont show up in our itunes.

Why not simply update your old AppleID so you have only one iTunes account? -
After Upgrading to 10.6.8 my aperture app starts but hangs trying to read the Lib. I removed the old lib and start with new. but still have the problem. 10.6.8 also made my Shark FX7 do the same thing. Any Ideas? Thanks

Call Apple Customer Relations - 1-800-767-2275. Ask politely & firmly that you want to be transferred to Customer Relations. Tell them exactly what you stated in your post. See what they can do for you.

New iPhone 5 wireless security problem
I have just discovered hat I cannot use several PC and Macbook devices on my wireless network if I am using WPA/AES security. I have turned security off completely and all works ok and tomorrow when I have hours to spare I will try WEP. Can this really be true? Can Apple really get things so wrong? Does anyone know of a way to fix this this and use WPA?

I received a new iphone 5 today from verizon and for some reason I can not get it to connect to wi-fi. I have tried resetting the phone (home button and power button), tried unlugging the router and turning it back on, resetting network settings,and turning wi-fi on the phone off and on again. All to no luck. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to resolve it? I had a 4s up until today and had no issues with connecting to wi-fi at my house. Also I am running OS 6.0.2
