"400" to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation.
I just started using iCloud on my macbook Pro and I just updated my operating system to the OS X Mavericks from OS X v10.8 (Mountain Lion). Whenever I try to add an event to my Calendar this comes up:
The server responded with an error.
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation.
What do I do?
I had done that before with no success. Tried it again and by doing so deleted all my iCal data across devices, plus it deleted the iCal data stored on the cloud. So I've now lost all my appointments. Just goes to prove the "cloud" isn't fail-safe, and it pays to keep a back up on a traditional calendar.

Running v10.9.1 on my laptop. Since yesterday, have been getting the above error message.
I have:
1) restarted the computer; no luck in clearing the problem.
2) "disconnected" ical from the icloud, then reconnected it, the restared the computer. No luck clearing the problem.
Annoying and any recommendations would be appreciated!I had done that before with no success. Tried it again and by doing so deleted all my iCal data across devices, plus it deleted the iCal data stored on the cloud. So I've now lost all my appointments. Just goes to prove the "cloud" isn't fail-safe, and it pays to keep a back up on a traditional calendar.

How do I resolve this related Ical message? The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVUploadDropBoxFileQueueableOperation.
I am having this problem too...and also I (most of the time) can't invite anyone on my google apps domain to a meeting. WEIRD! HELP!!! I just switched to Mac from PC...this was supposed to be EASY!
I get all kinds of error messages...
1) The request for “Test Appointment” in “[email protected]” in account “yyyy.com Google” failed. The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVScheduleEventQueueableOperation. *My google calendar *IS* updated despite the error, but the appointment is greyed out on my calendar.
2) The URL https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user///calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user/ encountered HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct. The URL *IS* correct.
Also, when I try to invite people to appointments, iCal adds random attendees and frequently will not add an attendee if they are in my domain. HELP. -
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Or even what the problem is? I am trying to subscribe to a calendar and every time I do, it gives me this response:
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVAddSubscriptionCalendarQueueableOperation
Any help would be fantastic. This is a course calendar, and I really need it.
Thank you!Keep away from iCloud and keep away from iCal. This is the most reliable solution to these 403 issues.
The Mac cannot upload calendars and keeps popping up error messages with an insane frequency. -
Error "400" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation preventing any iCal activity
All of a sudden, I can't write or delete events unless I go offline. It shows me:
The request for “New Event” in “Awesome Life” in account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
I've also tried doing so on icloud.com and I got nowhere. I've also tried deleting the iCloud account off iCal then adding it again, nothing. I was able to access the root profile but then had no idea how to access the files themselves...their path, I mean.
I'm kind of in desperate need for iCloud at these times of finals and exams all around so I'd really appreciate it if someone had the time to help. The error part of the debug log is here:

<<<<<Try this:
Back up calendars. Disable calendars, open finder and move the following folders from ~/Library/ to your desktop.
/Calendars
/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
/Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
If you find other iCal / Calendar referring files, move them also (these were the ones I found): Keep a track of where they came from in case you need to put them back. Then reenable iCloud Calendars in preferences and reenter account info in Calendars if it's missing. Everything is working as it should now.

I had similar problem to error message. I saw a response to try the following:
ERROR MESSAGE:
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVCalendarSplitDualTypeCalendarQueueableOperation.
I tried a suggestion to go to SAFARI >PREFERENCES>PRIVACY and then click "Remove All Website Data". Then rebooted my MacPro.
Result: It seems to have stopped the pop up error message. It had been popping up every 10 minutes or so. But I have now gone 4 hours with no repeat incidence.
Hope this might help some of you.In the Internet Accounts preference pane, delete the BT Internet calendar account. If you don't use the account, that's all you need to do. If you do use it, recreate the account with the same settings.

Hi -
I upgraded to Lion last week and started having this issue when i tick off a completed task/reminder from iCal
"The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation"
Does any one know what is causing the error message? I went back to system preferences, the server settings and server path are all correct and this was working fine before the upgrade....
Also, is the setting of tasks from the Notes pages in Apple Mail just completely gone?
Thanks for the help!No help in here?

I am syncing to Icloud. Iphone and Ipad works fine with this setup, but my Macbook Pro just doesn´t seem to get it. I have all latest updates. I can not detect any different response from the Mac weather I click <Go offline> or I click <Revert to server>, but the message comes up about 50 times a day(!).
Also - I seem to have a problem answering to some invitations (I invite myself from my work calendar (win Outlook). Shouldn´t I be able to answer them ?I am having this problem too...and also I (most of the time) can't invite anyone on my google apps domain to a meeting. WEIRD!
HELP. -

I created a new public iCAL. Trying to send invitations to join and am receiving this error message:
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVUpdateShareesQueuableOperation.
Tried copying the URL link provided for the Calendar into a MailChimp announcement. Not working.
I've tried the uncheck calendar method on iCLOUD and re-checking to stop the pop-up message.
Is this perhaps because they don't have an iCLOUD account? If they have iTUNES, shouldn't it work?
Appreciate any help.Try this first:
In iCal Preferences…, choose Accounts, then select the account that is giving you trouble. Uncheck the box labeled Enable this account. Wait a few seconds, then re-check the box. This should solve the problem. -

My wife and I have synced calendars that have stopped working. She gets my updates but I dont get hers, when we try to sync on her laptop we get this message.
Hello Kirkdasilva,
It sounds like one of your computers is not syncing correctly to a shared iCloud calendar. I recommend the troublehsooting from the article named:
iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3999
Try each of these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved:
Make sure that you are using OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later. Learn how to verify the version of OS X you are using.
Make sure your computer is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in Calendar or iCal. Learn how to troubleshoot your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Calendar requires port 443 access to iCloud in order to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click the icon for iCloud. Make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
Make sure that you enter and update calendar information in the iCloud section of Calendar or iCal. Only calendars and events in the iCloud section of the Calendar or iCal Calendar list are updated in iCloud. Both Calendar and iCal for Mac support the display of and interaction with multiple accounts and datastores, such as iCloud, On My Mac, Exchange, and Google. This makes it easy to create or modify events or calendars in a section of Calendar or iCal that may not be updating iCloud. Learn more about moving local calendars to iCloud.
In some cases, you may find that you have data duplicated in both the local On My Mac and the iCloud sections of Calendar or iCal. Learn more about resolving this issue.
You can make the iCloud calendar your default calendar for all new events. In Calendar, choose Calendar > Preferences, then click General. In iCal, choose iCal > Preferences, then click General. Locate the Default Calendar setting and choose one of the Calendars under the iCloud heading. Close the Preferences window to save the change.
Turn iCloud Calendars off and back on:
Quit Calendar (or iCal).
Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then select iCloud.
Deselect the checkbox next to Calendars (or Calendars & Reminders in Mountain Lion and Lion).
Close System Preferences and wait about a minute.
Open System Preferences and select iCloud.
Replace the checkmark next to Calendars (or Calendars & Reminders in Mountain Lion and Lion).
Close System Preferences.
Open Calendar (or iCal) and test to see if the issue is resolved.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it reinitializes your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care,

My iMac keeps giving me this message ...
"The Server responded with The request for account “HilaryAnne252” failed.
The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation."
I do not understand what this means nor how to fix it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
HIt means that you have a network calendar account that isn't working. Look in the Accounts tab of the Calendar preference dialog to see what it could be. First try the simple fix: back up all data, then delete the calendar account and add it back. Test. If there's no improvement, restart the computer and try again.

ICal error "400" the request for account fail!!
iCal on my Macbook keeps on popping up with the following:
The server responded with an error.
The request for account “myemail (at) yahoo.com” failed.
The server responded with
“400”
to operation CalDAVCalendarSplitDualTypeCalendarQueueableOperation.
I don't even have a calendar account with my yahoo account, since I use my gmail and iCloud calendar. I went into system preferences and made certain the "calendars" option was unchecked for my yahoo account in the Internet Accounts page. Nonetheless, iCal pops up with the same error message multiple times within the hour. I'm not sure why iCal is even requesting for my yahoo calendar, since I have never used it in iCal since day one. Any ideas?Just out of curiosity, did you install FileZilla recently? The install comes with malware called Speedial. You may have noticed that your default search engine in all browsers is set to Yahoo, and furthermore impossible to override via the normal course of action.
Removing Yahoo from local apps is easier than resetting them. All I had to do was delete the (added without my consent) Yahoo account from System Preferences, and the iCal Yahoo calendar disappeared momentarily.
For resetting Safari, look here: Reset Safari Settings/Preferences
