$400 VISA Card-- Nothing But Runaround!
I am not sure where to put this, but I am so beyond frustrated with Verizon and ready to cancel over the gift card we were promised!
Switched from Comcast for the $400 gift card promotion, along with what seemed like better service and rates. We fufilled the requirements and the gift card has been processing since OCTOBER 3rd, with it to be received WITHIN 2-4 WEEKS from then.
I called around 10/15 or so to see if any updates were available...was told it was going to be shipped 10/23. Still didn't receive it on 10/29, so called again, was told it wasn't mailed yet, was scheduled for shipping 10/31. The rep I spoke with at that point put me on hold to verify with another department, came back telling we it was going to be sent UPS and I would have it in my hand no later than 11/3, which was Monday. No card came Monday. Called Monday night, was told yes, it was shipped delivery date UPS was yesterday, Tues 11/4. Nope, no card. Yesterday they tell me I'll have it 11/6, Thurs.
Called yet again today to verify I would be receiving it tomorrow. I was tranferred, put on hold, spoke to three different departments, only to find out the card has not even shipped, and was only sent to BE MADE 11/3!! Also, UPS does not deliver them, it goes through regular mail!! It can be another 15 days and I was told I just have to wait!!
This is completely unacceptable that they cannot honor the terms of their own promotion. Not to mention give out so much misinformation in between and not care. "I just have to wait" If I did that with my bill, they would shut my service off!

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Go to Settings > Store tap on your Apple ID, then billing information.
Make sure every single bit of information in your credit card is 100% correct and matches the credit card information you have in iTunes (if you have an iTunes account and you have entered the credit card information there). Make sure your credit card expiration date is accurate and correct. Make sure that if in iTUnes you said you live at say 150 Red Road, you don't say you live at 150 Red Rd on your iPad.
Once you've verified the billing information is 100% accurate, save and then try again to download from the App Store. -

What do you mean by 'my iTunes id is not working' ? Of you mean that it's disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iOS deviced by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

In terms of creating a new account, there are instructions on this page for how to create one without giving credit card details : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 - the instructions won't work with existing accounts, and any content that you bought/downloaded with your existing acocunt will remain tied to that existing account. -

What exactly do you see when trying to buy a game, what messages do you get on-screen ?
If it's an account that you've just created then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store. You should be able to remove the card after entering its details.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

If you follow, exactly, the instructions on the HT2534 page that you posted from when creating a new account (the instructions won't work with existing accounts) then you will get the 'none' option - I tried it earlier today on both my computer's iTunes and iPhone and I got 'none' for new accounts on both. If you don't use those instructions then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used in the store.

Paypal for Family Sharing - Why can't I use PayPal with Family Sharing? Have a US Visa card but a foreign address, and Apple does not seem to be able to cope with that (even though it is a multinational corporation). So I set up payment with Paypal, and it worked fine. Now I want to take advantage of Family Sharing, but Apple won't allow it. Could we lean on Apple to change this policy?
If you are not in the US then you cannot use the US store, the store's terms say that you have to be in a country to use it - if you are using the US store then you are risking having your account disabled.

I created new apple id but can't sign in to itunes. It says that your id is not yet loged in so you have to review. In revies it shows payment method in which I provide full info of my visa card but it shows that the pin is incorrect although the pin is correct. If I try another card no then it shows that your payment method is declined. What should I do?????Is it asking for a PIN (for a debit card) or the three-digit number on the back of the card (for a credit card)?

i create an id. on review option when i enter visa card and security code, it always gives an error msg "Invalid Secruity code". but i use this code for money withdraw from ATM and for shopping also. plz tell the solution ????
The code they are asking for is the last three digits of the number on the back of the card (you don't use this when using an ATM or presenting the card in shops).

hello Apple community i have little problem i didnt know itunes takes 1$ for every register visa card. i registerd and then removed 3 times so its taked 3$ so i make little researchs i found itunes gives back that money but its my 3rd week waiting and no refund pls help.
