401-Not Authorized to view 192.168.1.1

Help! I think my wireless router is all messed up. Now I can't even view the webpage to see my router status. Where do I go or how can I get access to view my router information?

I'm having this same problem, my desktop that is wired to the modem will connect to the internet. However, any of my wireless devices, my laptop card, xbox connector and wii will not detect my wireless signal. Also when I try to type in 192.168.1.1 in the browser it will not load the router page. Then I tried to connect the desktop to port 1 on the router and then unhook the internet and try to ping it. The prompt window stated that the device could not be found or something like that. I am wondering if my router just died on me or what, help would be greatly appreciated.

ran the wsus config, products: Server 2012 only
grant "Network service" Full Access in D:\ and D:\WSUS
grant "Network service" Full Access in %windir%\.Net\Framework\v4..\Temporary ASP .Net Files
tried to grant "Network service" Full Access in IIS-Manager > WSUS-Management > APIRemoting30 but got some "access denied" errors here, although i am administrator
"D:\WSUS\WsusContent\anonymousCheckFile.txt" exists, is empty

The USERS group appears to be missing from this list. Since it is the USERS group that grants permissions to IIS_USR for anonymous access, and the /Content v-dir is an anonymous resource, almost certainly the absence of the USERS group is causing the '401'
errors. The USERS group requires Read & Execute access on the folder tree.
Also, there may be complications because this machine is a Domain Controller. Domain Controllers and WSUS on Windows Server 2012 do not play nicely together, but it would seem you're already past most of those known hurdles. However, I do find these two
references to be ambiguous:

VORDEFINIERT\Administratoren:(I)(OI)(CI)(F)
The Administrators group should have Full Control, as should the WSUS Administrators group. If this machine is a Domain Controller, then those would actually be the DOMAIN\Domain Admins group and the DOMAIN\WSUS Administrators group. But in this instance,
these two groups have different scope references: ROESRATH vs VORDEFINIERT.

I have checked with ISP, there response is like below:
Those are the NNI to GBNET IPs for Dominican Republic. They are Network IPs. You should be able to ping them-that means they are working.

Hi Experts,
When I open the node "Hierarchie groups" I get the following error: "Connection couldn't be recreated: 1 cause: Encountered invalid managed connection, last cause Couldn't execute interaction. 2 cause: Couldn't execute interaction. "
In the log file I find the following:
User MI_SERVADM, IP address
HTTP request processing failed. HTTP error [403] will be returned. The error is [You are not authorized to view the requested resource.No details available].
I used the User Service for administrator, I have not used the individual user for administrator.

Ah anyway I receive the above error even when I do a search in the node "Mobile Components".

my computer will not allow me to view my screenshots/screencaptures that i have taken. it says that i am not authorized to view them but i always have been. what may i do to fix this?

Quit the Preview application if it's running. Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Preview
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select Services ▹ Reveal from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the selected folder to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.

Apple TV not authorized to view that rented movie

OK. I just got my new Apple TV or iTV as I like to call. I am so excited and I tried to rent a movie. WOW, it really has been a problem. I have the movie on my ATV and I go to play it and it tries to authorize for a couple of seconds then then tells me that the ATV is not authorized to view the movie. I tried to check the support for information.
I tried to go to store, check purchases.
I tried to authorize the ATV.
I am using my timecapsule network, wireless and have logged in to both the internet and my apple ID.
I also decided to use the shared deal instead of actually transferring, thought that might be the problem so I changed it, both give me the same problem.
PLEASE Help, My family is waiting!

I recently hooked up my ATV to my network (with an Ethernet cable not wireless). It worked great..allowed me to purchase music, purchase tv shows, and synced great with my iTunes on my mac book. I can browse YouTube, watch movie previews. The problem is when I rent a movie the ATV will allow me to rent the movie...iTunes charges my credit card..i can even download the movie but when I try to play the movie i get the message "Your Apple TV is not Authorized to play this content." I spent two hours on the phone with Tech support and emailed back and forth with iTunes support with no resolution. I really don't think anything is wrong with the ATV but who knows. I even hooked the ATV directly to my modem (Charter Cable is my ISP) and got the same results. Very frustrating.

I have not used my AppleTV1 for quite a while and have since upgraded from a MacBook (black) to a MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard). I tried to hook up to the AppleTV1 (wired connection) and see if I could get it working. All seemed to go well but I can't seem to download my Library to the Apple TV. When I tried to view a movie or TV show from my library on the MacBook Pro, I get a message that the "content is not authorized for viewing" What does this mean and can I fix it??

I did a full factory reset on the Apple TV and then set evrything up again. Synced all my stuff from the computer, which seemed to download ok, but still get the "Your Apple TV is not authorized to play this content" message. It's very frustrating. All the content was purchased from the iTumes Canada store, I'm in Canada but can't watch it on the TV. I tried changing to the US store but same message. I think I'll just give up. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with an Apple product and I have never used anyrhing else but Apple. Thanks for your help anyway it's much appreciated.

Becz of some requirement, i have customized SQR to store PDF output files into custom directory located in UNIX,
psreports/htst2/my_fodler.
When i try to access them using ViewContentURL or manually writing the follolwing URL into my browser while im being
in environment as syntaxed below
http://<webserver>/psreports/htst2/my_folder/my_pdf.pdf
the system kicks out of the system with the error "you are not authorized to view the report(s)" for all the users.
By default if i ran any report as distribution node setup all the PDF's are getting saved into...
/psreports/htst2/YYYYMMDD/CONTENT_ID/my_pdf.pdf
Those files im able to access like below
http://<webserver>/psreports/htst2/CONTENT_ID/my_pdf.pdf
Can anyone helpme out what is the difference and any workaround for this?

Fortunately, it is not allowed to go through all the path directories you want onto the server. If you want your report in a specific folder, then rewrite your code to create the output file where you want, after the admin give you the proper grant against that folder.

I am trying to access Administration and Help links in SLD. But when i click on those links getting " You are not authorized to view the requested resource." And I have assigned all SLD roles to my user.
And same message is coming when click on System Information in http://<host>:<port>/index.html page. Please let me know that anyother roles required for accessing SLD and System Information.

I have a "not authorized to view content" on my Apple TV.

I have an Apple TV (1st Gen). All software is up-to-date. Last spring there was an issue where the Apple TV would not talk to iTunes. After a week or so, Apple fixed the issue. I was able to access and view all my movies on my iMac and I synced my Apple TV. When I went on Apple TV I was able to watch all my movies except one, Les Miserable. When I purchased the HD version a few months prior, I was able to watch the movie several times with no issues. When I try to watch "Les Miserable" on Apple TV now, I get a message that says: "not authorized to view content." I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue or an iTunes issue.

Apple TV not authorized to view content -- solution remove family videos??

Hi. Whenever I add add family videos (mp4, created with CRUNCH), my movie rentals stop working on Apple TV. I get the message saying that Apple TV is not authorized to view content. These are movies that I have paid for and have been downloaded directly to Apple TV. (Same problem occurs even if I download movies rental to my Mac and transfer them to Apple TV.)
If I remove my family videos from Apple TV, then the movies rentals work again.
I don't like this situation -- Apple is forcing me to choose between my family videos or movie rentals. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? Any ideas or suggestions??

Yes, my home movies play with no problem on Apple TV. I've tried other conversion programs with the same results.
Once I remove my home movies the movie rentals are fine again. But once I place the home videos back on Apple TV, the rentals stop working.
I am in Canada -- where movie rentals have only just become available. Could this have anything to do with it??? Perhaps there are still a few glitches in the system?

Admin does not work with the 192.168.1.1 address

I am trying to get my wii working with my router and I read the forum for it to work but the when I did the 192.168.1.1 address it asked me to put in the user name and password. I followed what is told me and put admin in as the password but it didn't work! Please help

The reason why the admin is no longer working as the router password because you might have setup a router password, not knowing, during the first time you setup your router...If you remember the router password when you first used your setup cd to install your router then enter that password else you need to reset your router and re-configure it...
To reset the router press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
