403 error (forbidden) when trying to acess xmla-interface

Hello everyone,
when i am trying to access our xmla-interface http://server:8000/sap/bw/xml/soap/xmla
i get this error:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://server:8000/sap/bw/xml/soap/xmla call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
    * The termination occurred in system VIA with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
    * The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
    * Please select a valid URL.
    * If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:vmsk3010_VIA_00-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

But http://server:8000 is reachable. What could be the problem?
Is the xmla-service unavailable?
And if so, how can i activate it?

Thanks for the reply - that is all good info. Interestingly enough, I found a work-around for this issue that is directly related to your comments. I cannot tell you much about the web server, as I do not control it. I can tell you that my space has a public_html folder for "public" (non-password) pages and a public_shtml for "private" pages.
Here is what I did and then had to do to work-around:
Web site was first created using DW CS4 on a *MAC*
I used WEBDAV to upload to my server space (FTP was not working for me)
WEBDAV put the files in the root, I had to then move them manually to public_html
At this point I got the Forbidden error
On a whim, I downloaded the files to my *PC* desktop via Internet Explorer web folder using the webdav address to gain access
I then immediately uploaded the files back to the public_html folder from my PC, overwriting what was there
I tested again, and it works fine
So this definitely smells like a permissions issue, but I guess I'm not sure where that issue lies. Is it with a setting in Dreamweaver or with the server? I am going to call their tech support to see why FTP does not work (it is SFTP with a bunch of other security). I assume that FTP is the better/cleaner way to synch DW files to the web server?
The second question, and maybe this is for another thread, is how to I tell Dreamweaver that when it does a webdav synch, to put it into the public_html folder and not my root folder?

Error when trying to acess SCVMM Admin Console

I had to install SCVMM 2008 R2 in a server that also contains TFS 2013 and SQL Server to manager virtual machines in MTest Manager.
During the very first acess to SCVMM 2008 i had the following message:
Unable to connect to the VMM database.
Ensure that the SQL Server is running and configured correctly.
ID: 2601
Details: SQL error code: 4060
Then, i've set NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM as dbo of VirtualManagerDB( bd created during installation of SCVMM), but now
i had the following message:
You cannot contact the Virtual Machine Manager
server. The credentials provided have insufficient privileges on TFS-TIER.
Ensure that your account has access to the Virtual
Machine Manager server TFS-TIER, and then try the operation again.
ID: 1605

Examine SQL Server error log to make sure the login failed error is associated with the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM login. Share with any error
numbers related to login failed messages.
You can also try adding as sysadmin the login used by SCVMM on SQL Server to see what happen.

Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

I've completely uninstalled vmaware fusion. and would like to install a new copy of windows7 plus my vmware fusion3.0 that I have on a disk. I wonder if windows7 is still buried in my mac hard drive somewhere? I can see some windows files on my mac but they appear a gray and can not be accessed. Could there be a problem installing a new copy of windows through boot camp? It seems to do so wouldn't be a clean install as I suspect that windows 7 is still on the drive somewhere. I've tried to follow the path the file I listed above, but nothing comes up. I'm almost certain it was accidentally deleted completely from the hard drive as it was quarantined while using Clam X anti-virus. I'm a relatively new mac user and long time PC user, but a computer genius I am not. I don't want to have to reformat the whole mac machine and lose my current files, etc.
I've uninstalled vmare completely and reinstalled, it, but the problem persists.
Any help?

If they were in your camera roll and on your phone when you last backed up, they would be included in your iCloud backup. If you restored the entire backup you should recover them.

Error Messages when trying to install, uninstall or run iTunes 9

I get the following error message when trying to Install iTunes:
The path C:\DOCUME~1\Frank\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP206.TMP\iTunes.msi cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.
I search my entire computer for the file but it's not there.
Then, when I try to uninstall the iTunes and start the install from scratch I get another error:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
Catch-22, I can't install or uninstall and when I try to run iTunes I get:
"The action is only valid for products that are installed"
Very frustrating but I'm stumped and I don't know how to proceed. Any help would be very much appreciated.

wooooooooo!!! got it working again!! having spent the last 6 hours..no joke six f*cking hours trying to sort it ive finally got iTunes back!!
ok here is what you need to do:
go to the link below and download the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Facility.

once you have downloaded it, install it and run it from the start menu. once its up and running remove everything to do with iTunes (so iTunes itself, quicktime, bonjour......the lot). Dont worry about removing iTunes completely, all the music is still there when it works again trust me!!
ok once you have removed everything restart your computer, im not sure if this is a must but i did it.
next download quicktime from the apple website (go to the 'downloads' tab near the top. download and install quicktime and restart your computer so the new settings are put in to place ( i think it asks you to restart anyway).
go back to the apple website, 'downloads' tab and download iTunes itself. install that bad boy and you will be up and running with all your library intact!
