404 Access Not Permitted

Hello,
I have a student trying to log into our private site. She is receiving a 404 Access Not Permitted error. I can log in without any problems. Please advise.
Thanks!
Nikki

Thanks for the reply Cyrus.
1. Users are members of the relevant group in WM.
2. The group does have "web calendar" service enabled in WM
3. And each user does have "calendaring" enabled under the "advanced" tab in WM.
Users can log into the web calendar, and make changes, and save them to the web calendar. The problem is in trying to get an account added under iCal preferences on the client computer. I go to:
iCal -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Add Account -> configure with username and password and the base url under server options.
servername.mycollege.edu
I get the error:
servername.mycollege.edu/principals/users/username/ is not a valid location for this request

  • Access not permitted principles/__uids__

I am getting an error when I try and set up an ical account on my laptop to join ical server. The server seems to be working in that the wiki, blog and web calendar are all working. I can log into the web calendar and write new events. However, I would like users who all have access in the group to be able to send events directly from their personal icals or sunbird apps.
Does this look like a permission issue, or is something more insidious going on?

  • ICal error 403 and 500 delegation error access not permitted

    Hi,
I have a problem with an iCal service on the clients.
Every time the users open iCal, they get an error: “HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error” to operation CalDAVRefreshDelegateListQueueableOperation.
Every time the users create an event in iCal, they get an error: “HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
The iCal Server settings on the client are through port 8443 SSL.
There are no DNS errors when I do sudo changeip -checkhostname.
    Clients have 10.6.4, server 10.6.4.
In noticed that in WM there is no checkbox calendaring.
The iCal calendaring error log is below.
The XServe doesn't has the DNS service.
    Somebody has some suggestions ?
    Thanks

I'm also getting an error when i visit my calander through Safari: "You don't have permission to view this calendar."
I changed the SSL certificate and checked in server pref and server admin the SSL settings (web, open directory, ical).
Problem is still the same but now I'm sure that's an authentication problem.

  • Can't use Calendar: Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.

I recently have been experiencing this error:
The server responded with an error.
Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
It occurs repeatedly every two seconds and I can't get the dialog to dismiss or go away. My calendars work on fine on my iPhone 6 and iPad mini but on the mac, it gives this error. I tried creating a new user account on the mac, starting fresh but as soon as I log into iCloud and then open calendar, the dialog is back. I suspect there is something wrong on the server site of things. I had some fradulent charges on my iCloud account that Apple cleared up for me. Then they disabled my account (I guess this is something they do when a dispute occurs) and I've had to contact them twice to get them to clear it up. This error started to appear around the same time. I also tried to update to Yosemite but that didn't fix it either. I've deleted all my calendars and created a new one via iCloud.com. Still there. I've found some others online who have had the same issue without success. Is there any hope to get the calendar working again? Help!?

    Alex,
Quit Calendar, turn off your internet connection, then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
Open the Calendars Folder which is in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.
Next open the Preferences Folder in that same Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
Log out/in or restart reconnect the internet and open Calendar.

  • Error message in iCal program access to my email is not permitted.

I am having big trouble with iCal lately with multiple events and duplicate calendars proliferating. Someone was nice enough to give me something to put into Applescript to correct the problem. Now a new problem. When I enter an event and use iCal to notify other participants, I get a message that says:
The server responded with an error.
Access to account (my name and address) is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation

Got to Ical, preferences, accounts. If you have a Mobile Me CalDav account listed, delete it. This is the source of the error message. Deleting this account will not interfere with mobile me syncing. (At least it didn't interfere with mine and the error message is now gone. Good luck.

  • 404 File not Found when accessing Video Web server

I am trying to access a Video Web server remotely. Everything works fine on a PC and also on Internet Explorer for Mac.
When I login using Safari I get the error message "404 File not Found" "The requested URL was not found on this server"
I have been successful twice through Safari but after that it doesn't seem to work for days.
I have removed all cookies, emptied the Cache, reset safari, deleted all keychain access references to the website.
It seems to be a security issue but I am not sure what else to do.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

    Try using open DNS:
Adding Open DNS codes to your Network Preferences, should give good results in terms of speed-up as well as added security:
Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
(You can also enter them if you click on Advanced and then DNS)

  • Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

    Hi there,
I am having a very infuriating problem with iCal. Every couple of seconds I get the message:
Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
It has made iCal completely unusable. I have tried unpicking various calendars, which makes no difference. Even with all the calendars disabled I keep getting the message.
I hope someone may be able to help me with this.

    Alex,
Quit Calendar, turn off your internet connection, then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.

We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud.  The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
    Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync!

  • I can not open Calender. The server responded with an error. Access to account "virgin net" is not permitted. The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVAAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

    I can not access Calender.
    Keep getting blocked by message.
    The server responded with error.
Access to account "virgin net" is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    "403"
    to operation.
    CalDAVAaccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
In the Internet Accounts preference pane, delete any calendar accounts you don't use.
If there's no improvement, delete all calendar accounts and add them back. With an iCloud account, all you have to do is uncheck and recheck the box marked Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane.
    Step 2
You may be trying to access an invited event that you declined, or one that was rescheduled after you accepted it. The error message should give you a clue as to what it is. If the calendar is on iCloud, you can bring up the Calendar on the website and select
              Show Declined Events
from the popup menu with the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page. The declined events will appear in gray, and one of them should match what's shown the error message. [Credit for this solution to ASC member Psi.]
    Step 3
If you get the error when trying to accept an invitation in an email attachment, it's because the organizer didn't properly create the event.
    Step 4
Follow the instructions in this support article. Modify as necessary for a calendar that's not on iCloud.

  • Apache plug-in prob : when trying to access '/weblogic/' URL , "404 : file not found" error is shown

    On : Apache 2.0 , Weblogic 7.0, Win 2000

    3. Apache httpd.conf syntax correct : checked by running ' APACHE_HOME\bin\Apache

  • Add-on connection error (-105) Access to company database is not permitted

    Good day,
One of our clients have upgraded to 8.8 PL 11 (from 2007A PL 41).
Somehow the SBO-Common became corrupt and SAP suggested that we reinstall the SBO-Common.
The problem is that now the add-on (developed by us) is not connecting.
The add-on connects to UI API and DI API, but when trying to connect to the company with SAPbobsCOM.Company, an error is returned (error code: -105).
I am also confused about what the error actually is, bacause according to the SDK Help file, error -105 is "The observer.dll init has failed.", but the error message returned by the add-on is "Access to company database is not permitted; log on to SAP Business One and sign end user license agreement (EULA)"
I have tried resigning the EULA, but no success.
I have also tried deleting the content of the %temp%\SM_OBS_DLL, as suggested in another post.
The version of the OBServer.dll is 8.80.229.0 - I believe that this is the correct version for 8.8 PL 11?
    Please advise.
    Kind regards,
    Rikard

    Good day all,
    My apologies.
I have discovered what the problem was - and it was me.
I did not realise that the connection I was making was not to the same database that I was connected to.
Therefore, I had to log onto the other database and sign the EULA.
The error explained exactly what I needed to do, but I wasn't paying attention.
    Regards,
    Rikard

Received 2 appointments from a customer, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to “Subject” in account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. In my opinion this is a bug, because iCloud is not able to handle 2 appointments at the same date with same content, just at different hours. The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.

In my opinion this is a bug, because iCloud is not able to handle 2 appointments at the same date with same content, just at different hours. The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.
Here are 4 identical events (other than time) in Calendar on my mac
Here is how they appear at iCloud.com
I concluded that iCloud has no problem with identical events seperated by time, so the question becomes what is wrong with your setup as opposed to what is wrong with iCloud.

  • Intermittent "Access to account "(Account Name)" is not permitted."?

A couple times today I got the following message:
"Access to account "(Account Name)" is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden"
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation."
I replaced the real account name with (Account Name) above. A few seconds after I got this message both times, I right-clicked and did a "Refresh" on the calendar and it worked fine. Any idea why I get these messages intermittently?

    Interesting little change...
Our triangle/cylinder/rhomboid/whatever we're calling it now is configured like this:
AD OUs and groups. Our domain OD just nests the OUs and groups in OD security groups. iCal (and Wiki) are on a server attached to both AD and that OD, while it's also its own OD master. So the domain OD doesn't actually hold any users, just groups.
We had an incident Monday where somehow augmented users landed on the OD server. iCal worked perfectly while that was the case. Once the guys removed the users from the OD server, iCal stopped working.
The users are all also augmented on the iCal server, so I'm confused as to why this would be.

Have you checked port in Netweaver Administration?
See which port is mentioned there. (If you are using PI 7.1)
Check in SXMB_ADM transaction, and in your RFC Destination, where it is pointing.
