Using Windows 7, from a Google search results, open link on new window or tab, gives a 404 for all links -- Double clicking on link will open a new window with the site with no problem.

Automatic renaming of clips after linking....

Working on a Dual System production, where I roughly line up the videofiles (EOS 5D converted to ProRes LT) including guide audio with the multitracked audiofiles (poly). Sync using Plural Eyes, and some manually. After sync is matched, I link the videoclip with the audio to get a new Master clip. This USUALLY do no harm to the original clipnames, but recently a lot of the audioclips got renamed after the videoclip....all by itself! Or not???! It's not consistent, but I cannot recall I've done things in another way when it happens. It's extremely important that the audioclips keeps their original name after linking, because of audio post i Pro Tools afterwards. When I unlink a new MasterClip, select an audio clip and check the Source - the original filename is there. But how can I revert all these renamed files back to it's sourcename? Found some similar cases here on AD, but with no luck yet. Exported a sequence as XML and imported into a new, fresh Project. Same names on all clips a before.... Exported an OMF 2.0, but it created only new audiofiles based on the NOT WANTED clipnames. Anyone??? Thanks.

and after using pluraleyes the synced sound wavs get renamed to the same name as the video file that your syncing to?
no, it happens either after linking the new (seperate recorded) sound to the video (most of the time), and/or making a cut. This occurs at random; there is a soundfile in the synced sequence that changes its name to the video when I cut it with the blade - first part stays correct, but with second part the soundfile copies its name from the video. Yesterday it was even the other way round. Cleaning up parts in the synced sequence I made cuts and the video after that cut got the same name as the seperate soundfiles.
are you sure that the new sound is actually there? its not just lost the pluraleyesed combination has it and you're seeing the unlinked version? sorry if those sound daft questions but just covering basics.
Yep sound is there, I have a masterdisk, copies everything to the FCP disk
Ive not used pluraleyes, but it sounds to me like either a disc permissions thing or some funny combo of fcp and pluraleyes, have you checked with pluraleyes to make sure of compatability with your vers of FCP?
using both last version but I did not inform Pluraleyes yet if they're familiar with the problem

Video Freezes in Firefox. Also links from email don't work(404) (same link works in chrome)

Most videos freeze after 5-15 seconds if the mouse is not hovering (and moving) in the video window.
Also many sort URL links from email (Open in new Tab) fail with 404 error. Videos don't freeze and same links work fine in Chrome.
Searched problem using Google and followed several pieces of advice -- same problem.
Removed all add-ons and extensions - same problem.
Removed Firefox 24, Reinstalled using latest version 25 (import nothing) -- same problem
Replaced Firefox with version 22 and it seems to be working fine.

Data guard synchronization after link down b/w primary and physical standby

Hi All,
I have configured data guard on oracle 11gr2 db. Normally switchover between my primary and physical standby happens smoothly and the Apply lag would be zero. Recently We had to test a scenario when the network link between Primary and Physical standby is completely down and Physical standby is isolated completely for more than half an hour.
When we brought up the link every thing worked smoothly but apply lag started increasing from 0 to around 3 hrs. And then it started reducing to 0. Currently Apply lag and transport lag shows 0.
But is this normal behaviour of oracle data guard that when the link between primary and physical standby is completely down, It requires 3-4 hrs for resynchronization ??? Even when during isolation, there were very few transactions happend on primary database ??
Are there any documents available for this scenario??

Hi, after the link is up, if there were some transactions and produced archive logs it's normal to take some time for resync. To check if 3-4 hours is normal or not, you can repeat the scenario and this time check
- how many archivelogs does primary produce in this period.
- after the link is up, does archivelog transfer immediately starts from primary to standby? Is primary able to send these archivelogs parallel?
- Is there anything wrong with the apply process?
check primary & standby alert log files, and run this query on standby to check the transport and apply processes:
SELECT PROCESS, STATUS, THREAD#, SEQUENCE#, BLOCK#, BLOCKS FROM V$MANAGED_STANDBY;

I need help to recover after Link uninstalled during attempt to download updated drivers

I bought a new unlocked Classic. I planned to switch from my Q10 to the Classic using the device switch option in Link. I think that I had Link v. 1.2.3.56 (or maybe .58?) installed on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC.
Using Link I backed up my Q10 and then connected the Classic with the USB cable. The Classic reported that it needed new drivers. Soon I got the option to download BB Blend, Link and drivers. I chose the option to install Blend and update Link and the drivers. The installation/update operation failed. I can't remember exactly the error message, but I believe it said that need to try again.
I was stunned to see that the desktop shortcut to Link was gone! The programs list in Windows Control Panel shows only BlackBerry Device Software updater installed. The RIM folder on the hard drive contains only \BlackBerry Link\en\help_files. I can't find an executable anywhere.
I downloaded Link and attempted to install it, but after I received the message that a newer version was already installed on my PC, I canceled it.
How do I recover? I'd like to get Link back, the new Blend software and the current Windows drivers required for the Classic. Fortunately, my last backup of the Q10 is there in the folder \users\username\documents\BlackBerry\backup.
Finally, I considered using the Device Switch app on both devices, but I couldn't download it. On both devices, I got the error message: "An error has occurred and BlackBerry World will be closed. Try waiting a few minutes and reopening BlackBerry World." That was hours ago. I'll search the hardware forum for information about BB World.

Excpetion after link is clicked for file download on same page

I have implemented a module in JSF where the page displays a datatable and one the columns is a command link which when clicked opens up a dialog box to save a CLOB from the DB as a csv on the local desktop.
All this is working fine.
The problem is that once the user clicks on one link in the datatable and then the user again clicks on any other link on the page or tries to use the Logout link the page is directed to the welcome page.
The problem is happening because of the <h:commandLink> causes the page to submit and thereafter any click on the page causes the page to go to the homepage.

Change window that a link opens in after link already created

Hello -
I've put a ton of links in my pdf documents (just opening a document within the same directory), and had selected "open in same window." Turns out the client wants the documents to open in a new window.
Is there any way to change this without creating all the links again? In the edit link options, it allows me to click on "edit" and only lets me browse for a new file (already selected the one I want). I don't see an option to change the window it opens in unless I redo the entire link, or select the document again that I want to open after selecting "edit."
That will create so much more work because there are hundreds of documents that I'd have to find again. So, is there any way to change what window a file opens in after already creating the links?

My website doesn't open/start youtube video, after link clicked. In Firefox only.

On my Joomla project (running under xampp local host) has a link to a youtube video, which worked fine, but not anymore. After clicking it, the resized pop-up window (java script) doesn't open the video. Window remains black and status beam at the window botttom shows 'ready'.
This problem wasn't there in former Firefox releases (3.6.. now) and doesn't occur in ms-IE, Safari and other browsers.
Please let some one fix this.

Can you post a link to your website?
Do you see any errors in the Tools > Error Console about that problem?
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

My background graphic dissapears after linking in IE 7!

there. For some reason my background graphic disappears from my
navigation list items after that page has been visited. This is
only happening in IE. I am using IE 7. Could be happening in other
versions of IE as well.

SOAP adapter erro 404 after second call using Web Dispatcher

In a XI SOAP sender interface that works if I use the central port of XI.
In the productive use SAP Web Dispatcher.
If I use the Web dispatched port, after the first run the application generates the error:

1. Please ensure that all nodes balanced by the web dispatcher are fully working and available.
2. Please check the URL being called by the external service. Check if on the second call it is still using the WD's URL instead of the instance's. This might occur depending on the external service behavior when receiving a 302 MOVED http code.

How can we change Topic Names Generated after linking a document

I linked a document and generated a topic in RoboHelp for HTML. The topics are generated with some names and i am not able to rename them after they are generated.
I tried doing this as per help
Define the topic name pattern for generated topics
When you set heading styles for pagination, the heading text is included by default in the filename of the topic file created in RoboHelp. For example, suppose you define Heading 2 for pagination. If the Word document has two Heading 2 topics, “Introduction” and “Beyond basics,” the topics are created as files named introduction.htm and beyond_basics.htm. The result is intuitively named HTML files that indicate the topic title. In addition to this default scheme, you can define more naming conventions. If, however, the Help system uses sequentially numbered files, such as helptopic001.html, helptopic002.html, and so on, you can define the pattern to support that convention.
Do one of the following:
Select File > Import > Word Document.
Select File > Link > Word Document.
Select File > Project Settings.
In the Conversion Settings dialog box, select Other Settings.
In the Other Settings tab, set the topic name pattern.
Topics are named according to the selected pattern. You can select one of the following or create a topic name pattern.
Default
Uses the topic title text as the topic filename.

But, still its doing the same. Can anybody help me .

I verified it at my end and found that at times the "other settings" are lost if only other setting are updated but this behavior is a bit random.
I have a workaround for this issue :-
1. please link the document first
2. Open the File->project setting dialog and click Edit button for Framaker setting (this wont cause any issue as you wont be using these settings)
3. In "conversion setting" please update any "other settings" and then click OK
4. Now on the other setting for word documents will get retained and after this it will always be retained for even the new projects.
5. then OK on project setting dialog and can verify it by reoprning these settings

Can't start apache after linking mod_wl_20.so in the https.conf

I get a segementation fault when trying to start apache after i have linked the apache plug-in.
Anyone ever run into this?
I fails whether the <IfModule> statement is there or not.

Installed IHS 2.0.47, copied mod_wl_20.so file to modules directory and made one entry in httpd.conf:

Error 404 after applying p9492821 to OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 on SUN Solaris

I have applied teh above patch to OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 on sun solaris as per the steps provided in the patch doc.
But after applying patch when i try to connect to presentation layer i am getting error
HTTP 404 Not Found

if i browse http://192.17.61.85:9704/ i am able to get the welcome page.

Are you able to reach presentation services and login if you go to http://192.17.61.85:9704/saw.dll ?
If so this may be a JEE application container issue or some type of rewriting of the URL going on.
Do you have a list of all the items that the patch modified?

Apahce 2.2 show 404 after installing webgate

All,
I installed a Apache 2.2 on a Linux 64 server. After installation, when I tried to access http://<host-name>:8080/ I saw a page which says "It Works!" which means my Apache 2.2 is working fine. Then I installed Apache WebGate (using the installer Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_2_4_linux64_APACHE22_WebGate). Now if I try to access http://<host-name>:8080/, I see the following error with "404 Not Found" as browser title;
<h1>Not Found</h1>
The requested URL / was not found on this server.
Can you please say me what is the reason for this error? If I comment the WebGate lines in httpd.conf file, Apache works fine.

Hi Rajesh,
In the WebGate (AccessGate) definition in the OAM Access System Console, do you have Deny On Not Protected set?
If it's not that, do you get the same results if you specify the full path of the default web server page in the browser url, eg s http://<host-name>:8080/index.html ?
