404 Error message displayed on browser

Hi
I'm a newby at dreamweaver, but am slowly getting the hang of
it.
i've made a website and it tested fine and i have been able
to upload it ok to my ftp site, however it is not showing in the
domain and have encounted a:
404 error message - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its
name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
Is there something more that I need to do once the files are
in the FTP site?
Also if I have accidently uploaded a file to the FTP site and
no longer want it in there do i 'get' it using dreamweaver or do i
simply delete it in the FTP site?

the problem is probably that you didn't specify the correct
host
directory in your Remote site info when you defined the site.
go to your
site definition and look at the remote info. do you see
anything next to
"Host directory"? if not, then you probably need to put
something there.
your host directory is probably something like httpdocs or
public_html.
you should be able to get this information from your host,
but you can
also look at the remote files and see what folders are there,
and if
there is one with either of those names, that's probably your
host
directory.
to view remote files, just select Remote view from the
drop-down menu in
the Files panel, next to your site name. that is also where
you would
delete files you don't want on the server. "getting" files
just
downloads them from the server onto your computer.

The hotfix you said is for Microsoft SQL Server 2008. So it will not work on your scenario since you are using SQL Server 2008 R2.
Based on the limited information, we cannot give you the exact reason that cause this issue. In order to narrow down this issue, you can apply the latest Service Pack and Cumulative Update as GregGalloway said. Besides, you can troubleshoot this issue by
using the Windows Event logs and msmdsrv.log.
You can access Windows Event logs via "Administrative Tools" --> "Event Viewer". SSAS error messages will appear in the application log.
The msmdsrv.log file for the SSAS instance that can be found in \log folder of the instance. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Log)

Without any prompt from me, Firefox is continually redirecting itself and displaying a 404 Error message. What can I do to correct this?

Upon laptop start-up, with Firefox as my web browser, I generally visit news sites beginning with with CNN. Aside from updating Adobe Acrobat Reader to the X version, I have not added anything to my laptop (A Sony Vaio A/W series 64 bit operating with Windows 7) recently, but I am continuously being redirected via the 404 error message without clicking or while reading an article. Firefox has also been crashing daily despite efforts to keep the cache clean and a minimum of programs running during use. I use Norton 360 for antivirus protection and update daily and have not found any bugs to suggest adware or malware. I do have Chrome loaded as a secondary browser, but Firefox has been my browser of choice until recently. Help.

Hello WhiteDove2043, try to UNCHECK the '''Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page''', go from : Tools > Options > Advanced > General tab > Accessibility > Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page [ ]. Don't forget to click OK to save it.

SAP Fiori Purchase Order not getting any data & getting a 404 Error Message

I have downloaded Purchase Order SAPUI5 code from SAP Fiori server. import it into Eclipse then try to run that Apps/code(SAPUI5) from browser.
1) Not getting any Data.
2) It show 404 Error Message.
3) Its show wrong User Name as Login

Secondly,
You have mentioned as Purchase order, but here you have given snapshot of Purchase requisition app, and you are calling also purchase req app from the browser. Please clarify
If you have mistakenly written PO : If you are still not getting data for Approve Purc req, then check if your RFC connections are proper from Gateway to backend and backend to Gateway.
If RFC is working fine, check the Remote logon, it should be marked as Current user. If its not marked as current user, then it will show some other user.

Suddenly I cant connect to my firefox (get at Google 404 error message); I tried reinstalling firefox and the same thing happened; so how do reinstall firefox?

As you can see, this problem is evolving. Now, I can download Firefox (thanks to Amistree -- sorry, I know that spelling is wrong) but once I close Firefox, I cannot re-open it. I get that same Google 404 error message. So I need to keep downloading Firefox. I will say that, once downloaded, I do have all my tabs, ext. still in place. This is so weird!

Constant 404 error message - cannot install my product (premiere pro)

I've just purchase the single product - adobe premiere pro.
I have received the confirmation email, verified my address.
When i click on get started - I get a constant 404 error message. Sometimes the adobe.com/en flashes up for a few seconds, then the 404 comes back again.
Other way in
I login to adobe.com sucessfully.
I cannot see anywhere in account/profile/comms etc for me to download Premiere. It just tells me I have purchased it.
But after a while the same 404 error pops up.
I'm using Chrome/Yosemite
I am not running any malware/spyware removal progs.
Nor am I running sophos or other anti-virus software.
Hugely frustrating..

It's not necessary to change the Command N keystroke..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

Error message display for PO creation with reference to internal orders

Sir,
While creating PO with Tcode ME21N (item category I) with reference to ' Internal Order with Funds provided (Tcode KO12), system displaying error message when Budget is exceeded.
But when Funds provision is not mentioned (Funds value is initial in KO12) , error message is not being given by the system during Po creation with ME21N.
Where should I configure in img(Tcode SPRO) , so that system will throw error mesage while creating PO without Budget Provision (Funds not mentioned ) in Internal Orders.

The error message display as follows. (when the PO Price exceeds the Planned Funds kept for internal order)
This error comes during PO creation Process and PO can not be saved. This error message display is correct.

Diagnosis
In document item 001 Order 600643, budget for fiscal year 2009 was exceeded by 99,960,000.00 INR.
But my question is 'when funds have not at all been mentioned for the internal order' then system has to throw the same error as mentioned above. But it is not happening. System is allowing the PO to save which is not correct.

I have many queries built under a multiprovider. The problem is if i try to chane a query it is not allowing me to do it. Even for a query which i built it is not allowing. It is displaying an error message 'display of the query spec is not allowed'.

Have you check your authorizaiton trace with ST01?
You need authorization for this query in auth obj S_RS_COMP or S_RS_COMP1

Are you using a bookmark or does this also happen if you type the address of the main (home) page of the website?
Bookmarked pages can become invalid, so you may have to enter the main page and then navigate to the wanted page.
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

My homepage, cnn, loads but is then redireted to yahoo search and I get a 404 error message

I downloaded 4.0 at work and at home. home works fine. at work when I open Foxfire, cnn is my homepage. cnn loads, but is redirected to yahoo search. I don't know what it is searching for; I get a 404 error message. I also have a Yahoo menu button between Bookmarks and Tools. I have uninstalled 4.0 and reinstalled. I have reinstalled 3.? but it continues to happen. How can i get rid of this Yahoo problem? I really don't want to go back to Explorer and I refuse to go to Foxnews.

I'm glad I was able to help. I kind of wish mine hadn't worked because I ended up being one of the "lucky" individuals where my phone didn't restore from the backup and I lost all of my contacts, calendar appts, notes, etc. It took me an extra 2 hrs last night to rebuild the next month worth of appts and try to rebuild my contact list from my yahoo contacts. Oh well. I will be getting an android at my next upgrade. I'm tired of all of the BS that comes with owning an iPhone.

Process error message: Display on the same page

When I create a before header process and that has an error, the error message shows up on a page by itself with the OK button. This takes away the context of the error
Similar to how validations have the option of displaying inline on the same page, is there a way to have the process error message display on the same page?

hold a message and display that item in a region

Then display the item in a region.How can I display that hidden item in the region? So the region would just have this read-only text box in it? But then it wont be hidden? I guess I can conditionally display the region only if the error message is not null?
