40GB Windows Directory - How to cleanup?

It seems our Citrix XenApp server 6.0 with Windows 2008 R2 x64 is running out of space on a 60GB system drive. I have quite a few other servers with the same size root drive and do much heavier lifting than this server with plenty of space available still.
After checking 4+ other servers the entire windows directory is under 20GB total on all of them.
Using TreeSize I'm able to see that its my Windows folder alone is very close to 40GB. C:\Windows\Installers folder that has ramped up to 18GB itself!
I've used cleanmgr.exe but it doesn't find anything to cleanup! After some research I found a few articles about this but nothing conclusive that I want to try on a production server.
Obviously adding more disk space would be the quick/easy solution. Something is telling me I would run into the same problem later and be wasting more time/space. How would you go about shrinking the size of the windows directory?
Did a bit of looking for msizap.exe and it turns out that MS had decided not to include it in their installations anymore or via Windows Update. I was able to get it from elsewhere though. It ran, deleted 1 file, kicked a few errors (other sources
say the errors are fine and will still cleanup what it can).
Ran DISM command and it came back with nothing. (DISM.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /spsuperseded)
Still have a very large windows folder :(

C:\Windows\Installed is Windows Installer cache which is used to store important files for applications installed using Windows Installer technology. The size of this folder depends of the installed applications and that is why you do not have the same with
other servers. This folder should not be touched as doing that would require rebuilding the OS and reinstalling the applications as mentioned here: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2667628?wa=wsignin1.0
The folder size should not increase as long as you have not installed new applications. So, if you are running out space, I would recommend increasing the size of the C drive.

All versions of Photoshop get their fonts from your OS. Just install any missing font wherever Windows keeps fonts.

How get files that are in Windows directory from a job is running in AS400

Hi Experts,
Please help me with this, I have a background job that call FTP_CONNECT for connect to a FTP directory, when i run manually the program this works very good; but when is runing like job it isn't works; SAP is in AS400 and the FTP directory is in Windows, also i tried use the CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES for access to the directory but it isn't works like job.
The big question is How i can get files that are in the Windows directory from a job that is running in AS400.
Is anyone can help me? Thanks for your kindly support in advance.

It's impossible to access Windows directories running through job. To do this, the files must be transfered to Unix.
Not true. You can mount a Windows server folder location in the SAP AS400 directory landscape and access it from SAP programs in the foreground or the background. You can also hit a Windows client or server location with FTP as well.
For Darwin, if the Windows location belongs to your domain, have your Basis team map it to your SAP app server folder landscape so you can access it directly or as Este suggested, try the background destination SAPFTPA for the FTP approach.

SBS2011 Windows directory permissions messed up by AV

I have a SBS2011 in production and about a week ago our Anti-Virus detected about 5000 infected files. It said it successfully cleaned those files and removed the threat but since then there's been some problems.
When I would log in with my normal Network Administrator Role user account and try to execute any program I would get an error stating the "Digital Signature was invalid". I Logged in as the Built-in Administrator and ran SFC /scannow and
that appears to have resolved that problem.
However, when I browse into the Windows Directory I notice there are several hundred files in C:\Windows, C:Windows\System32, and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 that have a padlock Icon. When I examine the permissions on those files The Security Tab of the files Properties
says:
"No permissions have been assigned for this object.
Warning: this is a potential security risk because anyone who can access this object can take ownership of it. The object’s owner should assign permissions as soon as possible."
How can I reset the permissions on all of the .exe files within the C:\Windows directory back to what they should be?

With the LabVIEW application builder, I can choose to put a file, such as an
..ini file, into the windows directory.
Now, I need to read the file in my program, but I can't find a variable
available that returns the windows directory, so I'm just using a path
constant C:\Windows. But I know I can't continue using this, because the
windows directory for Windows NT, or 2000, will be C:\WinNT.

I want to know how to access windows directory in sun solaris 5.0,actually in the windows directory we are havig JPG images and we want to crreate a link to the database and our database is oracle 10 g, but i am unable to mount the win directory to the solaris.............
can anybody help me out to solve the problem..........

You can have the image directory shifted to database server itself. That would solve a lot of issues in first place.
If you are having trouble setting up the windows share on Solaris, get in touch with your system administrator.

in the make_dir.bat enter instructions to manipulate the directorios as MSDOS
ie
echo off
\windows\temp
md new
save this file
add a line in the part of you oracle code in wich you need to create this directory and do the following
host('\windows\make_dir.bat',no_screen);
in which windows is the name of the folder in wich you are going to store the file Make_dir.bat
and That's all

I have a scenario where in we have a enhancement to open a PDF file in portal with standard SAP HCM_LEARNING application. If file does not exist then I need to give the custom messages.To give the custom message we need to check that whether the URL of PDF file is valid or not. Currently I am using HTTP2_GET function module to validate the same.This FM returns the status code by which we can know whether this URL is accessible or not. This function module requires a RFC destination as a input parameter . I am using SAPHTTPA for the same.
This RFC Destination (TCP/IP) does not have credentials with it , so the return status code is always 401 (unauthorised ). I also tried to use other RFC destinations(of type G) that have credentials with it but this is not compatible with this FM.
Can you help me in regard to below queries:
Is there any other method that we can use to validate the URL ?
How we can use the session variables (as the user has already logged in so that it should not ask for credentials.) Is there any way to specify the Credentials in the RFC destination of type T?
Kindly share your inputs with me to fix the same.

J4W does NOT use the directory info that you configure in CUCM as a UC service, it relies on the domain info from the machine you're logging in as default, or the config from the .xml file.
If you cannot connect to the directory, make sure there's nothing blocking the communication, and that your configuration is correct.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox 3.6 that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
