42HL833B - How to change system time for Australia

I have a Toshiba 42HL833B that I brought back with me to Australia from the UK.
Everything works OK other than the system time still indicates UK time.
Australia does not come up as a Country option in setup so I have chosen "Other".
There does not appear to be anywhere where you can change the time.
Is it possible to change the time manually somehow?

I dont know if you have users manuals with you but you can download it from here .
Maybe you can find info how to do this.

    sriharshasanne,
    log in as your current system administrator and open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences. If the padlock in the lower-left corner is locked, click on it to unlock it. Click on the “+” button above the padlock to create a new user; set the “New Account” dropdown to “Administrator”. Provide the missing text box information, and press the Create User button. After the new administrative user has been created, exit System Preferences, log out, and log in as the new system adminstrator. Open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences again, select your old administrative user, select its Password tab, and uncheck its “Allow user to administer this computer” checkbox. Relock the padlock if desired, and exit System Preferences.

    In general, no.
    You could do it using JNI if you're running your JVM

    It seems a highly questionable thing to want to do.
    Why do you have a requirement for this?

  • How to change system time w/o affecting iCal

    When I travel to another time zone with my laptop I would like to be able to change the system time that appears in the menu bar to the local correct time.  However, I do NOT want this to cause any changes in my calendar times.  I use Calendar only for my home appointments so do not want those to change.  Is this possible?  Thanks!

    Hey bobio,
    Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to change your time on the computer but not the time on the Calendar. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
    You can change the computer time and follow this to view Calendar events in your normal time.
    Calendar: View all your events in a different time zone
    By default, Calendar events are displayed in your computer’s current time zone (set in Date & Time preferences).

    8.5 Accessing Oracle Database with SQL*Plus
    To issue SQL and PL/SQL statements to Oracle Database, you can use SQL*Plus. This tool enables you to perform the same database management operations, and query, insert, update, or delete data directly in the database.
    To start SQL*Plus, from the Start menu, select All Programs, then Oracle - HOMENAME, then Application Development, and then SQL Plus.
    Alternatively, at the command line, you can enter the following command at a Windows command prompt:
    C:\> sqlplus /nolog  SQL> CONNECT user_name  Enter password: password
    For example, to log on as SYSTEM using the password password, you enter:
    C:\> sqlplus /nolog  SQL> CONNECT SYSTEM  Enter password: password
    Then change the password. You could also log onto the root as SYS as SYSDBA and then change the SYSTEM password.

  • How to change LACPDU timer setting on Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver

    We’re installing our first Windows 2012 R2 server, and one of the network settings is different from what’s on a comparable Windows 2008 R2 server, and it's not what our network group would like to see connected to their switches.  Both servers have
    2 NICs teamed using the LACP protocol and are connected to 2 different switches for high availability.  In both cases I just teamed the NICs with whatever driver was on the server.
    On the 2008 R2 server (the one our network group likes), it’s an Intel driver, “Intel(R) Advanced Network Services Virtual Adapter”.  On the 2012 R2 server it’s a Microsoft driver, “Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver”.  The setting that
    our network group is concerned about is the LACPDU timer setting.  Apparently it can be either “fast” or “slow”.  What they see on the switches is that on the 2008 Intel driver NICs the setting is “slow” and on the 2012 Microsoft driver NICs the
    setting is “fast”.  The switches are expecting “slow”.
    I spent some time searching on Microsoft.com and other places, as well as poking around on the server, but I couldn’t find that setting or how to change it on the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver.  Does anyone know how I can change it?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    According to my knowledge, we can’t change the value of LACP timer.
    Here is a related question,
    How to change LACP timer-value on Windows server 2012 Network Teaming, from short to long?

    There is a requirement of bringing the Material Price in KKE1 while entering the Item Catogory M ( M for Material) from the Gross Price in the condition type (P001) that is entered in the Purchase order.Currently systems brings the material value from MAP(Moving average Price) in the Material Master data.

    Hi,
    You can activate Time-Dependent Publishing Service on your XML form and once the Lifetime of Documents is over then the document is not visible to users.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/c1/c87d3cf8ff3934e10000000a11405a/frameset.htm
    It is only invisible but not deleted!
    So to delete all expired XML Forms you should run Scheduler Tasks for Time-Dependent Publishing:
    <b>TimeBasePublishingUnpublish</b>
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/3a/bc37b5789dee4eaa8005bff84f14cf/frameset.htm
    You can also create your own Scheduler Task which deletes/archieves all expired XML Forms.

  • Time dead after changing system time

    Hi,
    I have read many posts on this but still can't find a perfect solution.
    1. tried using thread.sleep(1000) to cause a method to run every 1 sec.. but after reading online.. it seems to be a lousy design as it depends on the system cpu speed. sometimes it will stop for more than 1 sec.
    2. tried :
    private ScheduledExecutorService scheduler
    private ScheduledFuture task
    public classname(){
    scheduler = Executors.newSingleThreadScheduledExecutor();
    task = scheduler.scheduleAtFixedRate(methodToRun,1,1,TimeUnit.SECONDS)
    This works but if i changed the system time for multiple times, it will just stop my program...
    Did i use ScheduledExecutorService or thread right ?

    after reading online.. it seems to be a lousy design as it depends on the system cpu speed.God help us! Where on earth did you read that? It depends on the system clock, and it isn't guaranteed to retun in exactly the time specified.
    sometimes it will stop for more than 1 sec.That's what its specification says.
    This works but if i changed the system time for multiple times, it will just stop my program...No, it won't 'stop' your program, it will foul up the executor until it adjusts to the new time.
    There is nothing in standard Java that guarantees exact timing. If you need that you need a real-time version of Java. But probably you don't need that at all. Impossible to say without some context.
