  • Freight with TAX for canada

    Hello SAP Gurus,
We have a new and urgent requirement from the business in canada. They are launching a new product and which is non-taxable. However, the freight is taxable. The tax comes from the external taxware system.
Please let me know how to configure this requirement. The thumb rule is whether the material is taxable or not the freight is always taxable.
    Thanks - Tais

    dear friend,
you would create a new condition type for your freight (which is taxable) and work with abaper on custom code to get relevant  data from incoming IDoc (as "tax comes from the external taxware system") and pass it to your new condition type.
    good luck!

  • Tax Report for Canada

    Hi everyone!!
Does anyone knows the tax report that should be used for Canada? We have advised the business to use the standard S_ALR_87012394 (Record of Use and Sales Tax - USA) as it provides de info by customer/vendor, tax code and jurisdiction code.
However, they have now come back to us saying that they will also need the system to display all the taxable items where a customer/vendor account has not been impacted. We have debugged the program and the system will only consider the customer/vendors' taxable items.
Has anyone come through this issue before?
Thank you very much in advance. Best regards

  • Configuration of Tax code under Tax Jurisdiction for Canada

    Hello All,
We need to create new tax code for Canada & use Jurisdiction code.
We have created a new jurisdiction code.
Now, at the time of creation of tax code, it is observed that some line is active whereas some line is deactive.
Question:- is there any setting wherein we can define a tax line item as to active or deactive for a given tax procedure?
    Thanking you in anticipitation
    Regards
    Santsoh

    Hi,
In FTXP, the tax line will be active only when you enter some rate in it, even 0 % rate.
However you can manually deactivate the tax line in FTXP.

  • Sales equlization Tax for Spain

We are implementing ECC 6.0 in our Spain location.  How do we set up VAT and Equalization Tax (also called Recargo de Equivalencia).  FI tax procedure TAXES contains MWAS (Output Tax) and MWAA (Clearing Tax).  Tax rates for full tax are VAT = 16% and Recargo Tax = 4%.
Should SD pricing procedure have two tax condition (MWST and another)?
Do we need to create condition master data (VK11) for new condition?
If anyone is familiar, please confirm set-up for Output tax for Spain.
    Thanks,
    MJ

Thank you for the link.  However, I have already reviewed this.
When I review TAXES Finance tax procedure, I see the Output Tax and the equilization tax (Recargo tax).
In SD pricing procedure, I have two tax conditions :  MWST (VAT) and ZREC (custom tax condition for Recargo tax).  I expected that by setting up MWST tax condition master data with the proper tax code, the SD pricing procedure would invoke the FI tax procedure, and have the MWST rate returned (16%) and the Recargo tax rate returned (4%).
Instead, I had to set up tax condition master data for MWST and ZREC with the proper rates.  The same customer master tax classification and material master tax classification is used for both MWST and ZREC.  So there is less maintenance for customer and material master data.
I have been able to apply the proper tax rates in the sales order.  However, I just wanted to verify that the configuration setup is correct.
    thanks,
    MJ

  • Form 941 - Employer Quaterly Federal Tax Return

    Posted by ldinh
on Apr 29 at 2:59 PM
When we run the Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return (form 941), the
income tax withheld figures are not added to line # 11 (total deposit
for quarter). Only the Social Security and Medicare amounts are listed
here. Can someone let me know what I'm missing?  I'm on 4.6C. Thanks in advance.

This is because you are not passing your taxes which you paid to the finance. The fix for this is to do manual adjustment. Go to utilities -> manual adjustment-> click on deposits , interests and penalities and adjust here. for eg
fed 0001- put the amt to be adjusted.
fed 0005 -put the amt to be adjusted
fed 0006-put the amt to be adjusted
after saving this runt he form againa nd see the result.
    Thanks

  • Maintenance of OB08 for multiple users

    Dear All,
We have Company codes in Canada, US, and India.
Accountant in Canada has to maintain say for document currency EURO exchange rate CAD vs Euro separately according to exchange rate of Canada federal govt. In US we have sub branch relating to Canada they also need to maintain exchange rate CAD Vs Euro according to US govt rate and in India, accounting for Canada books are maintained locally and the indian accountant wants to maintain exchange of CAD Vs Euro as per RBI.
In simple, same exchange rate CAD Vs EURO has three different values because of country specific and has to be entered in F-62 / OB08.  As the table is not company code specific how should we track and assign each exchange rate to company code specific.
    Pl. advice.
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi
Prepare three BDCs on OB08 for the specific currencies related to country with the authorisation for them fixing the currencies From to To. Don't give direct t-code access for them.
for ex: daily you have to upload the following in OB08
Exchange rate type, Valid from,  from currency, dir quote, to currency
    with regards

  • YTD Federal Tax base display issue in pay stub

    Dear Experts,
We have  a requirement to display the YTD value of federal tax base in pay stub. For this I have used the wage type /701 from TCRTY table.
I am printing that wage type in a window using wage type /701 directly from table TCRTY, while doing this I have used split indicators 9 and 8 in consider split  field and * in "dsplit" field. When doing this , system was printing /701 for both federal as well as state but as stated above my requirement is to just print the federal tax base. Hence in order to filter out the state tax base, I have attached a rule with wage type in PE51as stated below.
    If Component                                                                                Then Component
Rule    Table       Field     Off   C  T    C    Value 1                                   Table     Value
    T3       TCRTY    TAXLV         3   C   NE  'A
As per the rule listed above tax authority is not equal to A then system should skip that value but still system is printing the value of state tax authority which has a tax level "B".
Requesting you to please suggest if I am missing some thing here or there is some other way by which I can filter out the state tax base for wage type /701.
    Regards

    Hi,
If you want to print fedral base than you should make your rule this way.
Rule Table Field Off C T C Value 1 Table Value
    T3 TCRTY TAXLV 3 C EQ 'A
If this does not work then try using,
    T3 1 TAX TAXLV <space> 1 C EQ 'A <space> TCRTY BETRG.
Where space refers to cloumn that needs to be kept blank.
Also, place appropriate wage type for field mapping as identifier /701.
Actually you are filtering out federal base in your rule and displaying all /701 other than federal level.
    Thanks,
    Ameet
