47 minute video seems to be capped by iPhone to 20 minutes?!
I have syncronised a video which was taken by another phone and converted to MPEG-4 format, with the following spec:
Sample rate - 32,000 Hz
Sample size - 16 bit
Bit rate - 32 kbps.
However, I have noticed that although the actual file is 47 minutes long and plays fine on the PC, when playing it through iPhone's 'photo' app, it claims to be only 20 minutes long and although it plays fine, it stops at bang on 20 minutes.. Which leads me to believe that there must be some sort of cap that has been put in place.
I have tried syncing it as a 'Film', which works fine, playing and displaying to the correct video length, however I really want it usable within the photo app, as that is where the rest of my videos are stored.
Can anyone shed some light as to why this is the case?
Sounds like you had some kind of software glitch which was fixed when you reset the phone.
If it happens again, I would recommend doing a restore.

What version of FCP X?
Did you render? what are the project specs? do you use many compound clips? how much ram, hard drive space, how is the hard drive connected?
It looks like your mac can't keep up. Maybe the bottleneck is the hard drive, or something else.
Try exporting a master file and see if the video is ok.
Also, keep Activity Monitor open and see how much memory pressure you've got. -
Just downloaded a music video to my iPad and the song plays but the video seems to be frozen, any suggestions?
Play music videos back in the video app to see the video.

Video podcasts won't sync to iPhone
Got a confusing problem here, with a MacBook Pro (up to date on all software) and a new iPhone 3GS.
I can download and play video podcasts within iTunes on my Mac. However, they will not sync from iTunes to my iPhone, even after I use the "Create iPhone version" command and it spends ten minutes converting them. iTunes gives the error that the video cannot be played on my iPhone, so it's not going to transfer it.
Here's the confusing part: if I use iTunes on the iPhone itself (not on the Mac), I can download and play those very same video podcasts successfully. Huh? How come they work fine on my iPhone when downloaded directly to it, but not when downloaded via my Mac?
Any suggestions? FYI, here is one of the videos in question:

(These same video podcasts will sync fine if I choose something like "sync only the 5 most recent episodes of the selected podcasts." The trouble is, I've just started watching a long video podcast and would like to watch it from the beginning rather than from the end.
Any advice... short of deleting all but the desired episodes and then slowly re-downloading them as needed? -
Video Screen dimming while filming using iPhone 6

So, after working with the guys at Apple, they were able to provide a solution. Now I have no problems using Home Sharing with my iPhone 6 Plus!!!
(I should add that I have the Linksys Advanced Dual-Band N Router (E2500))
The issue was fixed by giving one of the wi-fi channels a different name, thus splitting the channels into 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Then, I connected my iPhone to one channel (2.4 GHz) and my MacBook Pro to the other channel (5GHz). In this configuration, I have had no issues streaming my music and video.
It seems that the problem is some kind of interference between both devices when using the same channel (i.e., when both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channel share the same name). -
I have deleted all my videos songs and photos from my iphone 4 but when i connect to itunes it still shows 17gb free. how can I solve this issue without restore. Total storage of my iphone is 32 gb.
I don't see an issue, but if you mean why didn't you get most of your memory back you need to see what else is using storage. Go to Settings/General/Usage. Wait a bit for it to calculate storage allocation, then when it finishes you can see how much storage each app uses.

Hi, just need to know how to get my music, video, pictures and apps form my iPhone to my new laptop as the old computer, which I used before was stolen. I only have my phone left and if I try to conect it to my new laptop it's trying to delete everything.
I have also noticed all my settings won't stay set, example....I removed the check mark from "third party cookies", the when I close Firefox and reopen the check mark is back, also my tool bar has screwed up....can't reset, been having trouble the up grade.

Need some help in saving video message from viber to my Iphone 5S with new ios 8's program . I disabled the thing that would save photos and videos automatically then, there comes a video I want to save. After loading and watching it, I press the "save to gallery" thing but it doesn't save in gallery. I tried all, restarting my phone, rebooting then turning on the save automatically thing and when I watch it again, it still wouldn't save.
Probably a good question to ask Viber or look at their support site.

if this is so, then the only way to do so is to use Safari for windows. When you sync the iPhone to the computer it will sync safari bookmarks to the iPhone, if you if that option selected in iTunes.

If all you're wanting to do is take stills from your videos then the answer is yes, you can but you'll have to transfer your videos from your iPhone to your computer first (unless you can find an APP on the iTunes store to help you to do it on your iPhone).
There are a few ways to do it. The first is that you can use the button on your keyboard called "Prt Scr" or "Print Screen". This takes a shot of your screen which you can then "paste" into a program like paint, or photoshop or even Word to then save as a jpeg image. When using this option a good trick is to use "Alt" + "Prt Scr" to only capture the current window rather than your entire desktop.
The other way to obtain screenshots is to download and install a program designed to do this for you. A great site to find something free to help you out is www.tucows.com. Try this link: http://www.tucows.com/search.html?search_scope=win&search_terms=screenshot&searc h_type=all
Also, some DVD programs have this function in built in them so it's a good idea to explore what's already installed on your computer.

Im trying to donwload a 7min long video that i recorded on my IPhone 4 to your PC computer. Please helpIt depends on what Operating System you have but generally the same method.
Xp and Win 7 should be similar.
Plug in your iphone to Pc or latop. A pop up should appear but you can ignore this if you wish to do so. If not then the pop up should give you an option to "open device"
or
Double click "my computer". Under Local Disk C it should show "Portable Device". Double click it and it will show "internal storage". Again, double click this to be shown "DCIM". Open this to show "800AAAAA" and open that folder. You should now see all your pics and the video you took amongst the pictures.
Find the one you want, or better still do this:
Make a folder on your desktop, rename it "Iphone May 2011" and drag and drop everything from the above folder to your new one". I do this for each month and put the contents onto a disc. If my phone fails at all then I have a hard copy to put it all back !
