47L6200 Audio Speakers/Amplifier Interruption and Frequent No Input Error

Hello All,
Bought the 47L6200 LED 3D a few weeks ago, loving it so far but I have two frustrating issues that I am unable to resolve.

Firmware : 0150
1) TV Speakers/Amplifier Audio Issue
- TV is connected to LG HB906TA Amplifier/3D Player via HDMI input 3
- On Toshiba TV I press Quick button and select Speakers: Amplifier instead of Speakers. Audio plays fine to Amplifier for a period of time (varies 5-20 minutes). After which for no apparent reason and nno changes made to settings or Amplifier the TV automatically switches from Amplifier back to playing on Speakers ONLY. For the next 2-3 minutes the Speakers option is greyed out, I cannot change from Speakers to Amplifier. After 2-3 minutes it let's me change the settings and the above repeats. Frustrating - I need a solution to this.
2) Input
- TV is connected to Motorola VIP2262 HD PVR via HDMI input 1
- With both TV and PVR turned off, I turn on both devices (doesn't matter order), 8 times of 10 TV says "No Signal".
- The only solution is to unplug HMDI cable and plug back in, works right away.
- This annoying as I have to do quite frequently and it takes about 30 seconds to indicate "No signal"
I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, all the same brand though. Tried all HDMI ports - no difference. Anyone every come across any of these two issues? I checked there's no firmware update available from Toshiba.

Did you recently buy this TV? I just bought this TV recently (it arrived today) and have been having issues with the HDMI ports. I've tried changing the HD source and even the HDMI cables but am still unable to view anything through HDMI. I am however able to use the remote to access the Menu and was also able to access ePortal and play music and videos from my USB drive. So I know that the TV works well ... its just the HDMI thats the issue.
And what good is an LED HDTV without HDMI??? I bought this TV from Paul's TV and am comtemplating returning it if it doesnt get fixed by tomorrow when I call Toshiba support.

Go to the Edit -> Preferences-> Playback
In The bottom section of the page click the drop down menu by Play Audio Using and select Windows Audio Session or something other than "Direct sound" or whatever it displays. Click Okay. This worked for me! I hope it works for you too!

Ok, if you are connecting the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) to the existing wireless network, then the DSL in the next room is most likely a combination DSL modem and wireless router. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
Although they may only be separated by a single wall, the building material used in that wall may be enough to prevent the AX from receving a "good" signal from the DSL router.
Since I don't know what computing equipment you have available, please check out this AirPort User Tip: AirPort - Optimal Base Station Placement to see if you can get some SNR measurements at the location of your AX. To do this properly, you will want to power-off the AX and only get these measurements for the DSL router.

The internal switch in the audio output port is stuck. Try inserting the earphone plug a few times. If no success, try jiggling a tooth pick inside in order to trip the switch.. If still no success, have the technicians at the Apple store genius bar do it for you.

5.1 audio no longer works on Netflix and HBO Go

I've noticed recently that 5.1 audio no longer works on Netflix and HBO Go. Those are the only apps I really use, so I can't speak for any others. My receiver lights up all of the speaker lights that it normally would for 5.1 audio, but it displays "Stereo" and I'm only getting stereo sound from my speakers for anything I play from those sources. The receiver works as it is supposed to for all of my other A/V devices. I tried restarting and restoring, but the problem remains. I can't think of anything else to do.

@sean0826 -- this is why you don't use Java menus. Even javascript menus are a bad idea; you need to have a secondary menu system ANYTIME you have a menu system that requires a plugin or scripting to be active. NOT EVERYONE browses with that stuff on.
The only thing you can do for now is FTP to your site and add in static menus (like we did in the "old days" at the bottom of the page; or rip out the Java Menus and install static or CSS versions.
BTW where are you rmenus supposed to be. I have opera, safari, ff, and a few others. they all look the same. So if that's true, it's the plugin that's the problem, not safari.
In Opera Pogo.com works. java loads, the game is there. It does have some drawing issues but not surprised.
In Safair Pogo works fine. Just played a game of chess.

Apple Pro Audio Speakers on Intel iMac

Hello everyone!
My new Intel iMac just got opened and is sitting on the desk, but I ran into one issue: The Apple Pro Audio speakers that came with the iMac G4 can not be hooked up. Is there an adaptor I can get, or will I have to make due with the internal speakers for a little bit ? (which by the way, sound really good)

If you're taking speaker recommendations, I love my JBL Creature II speakers. They also come in aluminum, black, and red.
They look a little funky, which is cool, and they sound great!

Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:

I have a nearly identical problem with my Ipad 3. Mine is the left channel. I've yet to find help, but have found a number of other posts on this and other forums discussing the issue. People have tried restore, reset etc. Also, cleaning the ports with compressed air or cotton swabs. It appears to be a software issue, but no one is sure.
Along with the original poster, I'd appreciate any help.

So I've run into an odd problem I haven't experienced before. I exported my docu film last night. I have my music audio on A1 and speech audio on A2 in the timeline. When reviewing it, the music audio plays back fine, but the speech audio is playing back slightly fast (resulting in a bit of a chipmunk effect) and it's crackling (possibly because of the speed-up). The video appears to be in sync with this weird speed-up.
I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro and the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Although this is happening on two different systems, here are my computer specs.
PC 1:

CPU: FX-8350 4 GHz

Memory: 16 GB DDR3
SSD: 256 GB Samsung 840 EVO (Primary)
HDD: 2 TB WD Red (Data)
GPU: 2x Radeon 6950 (CrossFireX mode)
PC 2:
ASUS G53S laptop
CPU: Core i7-2830QM 2 GHz
Memory: 6 GB DDR3
SSD: 120 GB Crucial M4 (Primary)
HDD: Seagate 500 GB (Data)
GPU: GeForce 460M
I did a bit of troubleshooting and thought that perhaps I nested sequences too many times. So, I did a few test renders from the ground up on each sequence where the nesting gets deeper. I got up to two nesting levels (where one sequence has a nested sequence which contains a nested sequence - Sequence-ception ) with all audio rendered normally.
However, the next nesting level resulted in the audio issue. So, I copied and pasted the timeline from the previous sequence to the current sequence, overwriting the nested timeline. Oddly enough, it still caused the problematic audio, which has me thinking that it's not related to nested sequences after all.
Keep in mind that playback inside Premiere works fine. I even created a new sequence from scratch into which to paste the timeline. Also, encoding using different codecs didn't make a difference. Of course, I also did the basic things and updated my video card drivers, restarted my computer, uninstalled/reinstalled Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, and tried encoding without GPU hardware acceleration.
Here are some 5-second DNxHD renders to get a grasp of what the results are.

I should probably mention that I configured symbolic links to remap the Users folder to my data drive, as that has been known to cause some problems with Windows, but I made sure to link all the assets in my project using the actual file paths rather than the symlinks. Also, I've been rendering other projects prior to the previous patch with this setup and didn't experience any issues.
Has this happened to anybody else as well? I did some searching for this issue but I'm apparently the only one. I'm just hoping this is some weird bug introduced in the last patch.

That may be so, but why even have that feature if one can't even take full advantage of it? I'll be asking Adobe that if I don't get many suggestions or input here.

I don't listen much to music, but mostly audio files (radio programmes etc.)
But there is still one big drawback with iTunes:
What I want to do is to be able to __delete__ an audio file (or song)
on my iPad/iPod/iPhone (the Mac Library is there via Home Sharing)
once and for all:
I don't want to have to go back to iTunes and delete them there.
I want to delete them on the device and forget about them!
Please Apple it's about time.
Any suggestions welcome!

Hi, I have this exact same problem. I haven't been using an iRig, just a cheap USB-jack cable. I managed to do this with the first cable I bought, but since it broke I've been unable to find a replacement that allows me to hear the drums while recording. DId you manage to get over this issue?
