4GB 2.8" Touch Screen MP3 MP4 Player FM Camera DV

I purchased above from HK via Ebay and it is still in transit. Also downloaded Spanishdict.ipa from Itunes thinking I will use application on player. Seller says what I purchased is not an Ipod and does not play itunes.
Is there software I'll need to play *.ipa application when it arrives? I have software to convert music files to *.mp3 or convert most any video for an MP4 player however screen is like really small and is not touch.
thanks

I found below and like you said, not looking good for playing Spanishdict.ipa on my purchase from HK.
IPA as in iPhone app and Jar as in Java App? I doubt that you can convert without the original source code and even then you need to get a programmer to "port" it. iPhone apps are done in Objective-C and Java apps in java right?
Its like saying "How do I convert this windows app to mac?"

  • Is there a tablet or touch screen with flash player

Is there any tablet  or portable touch screen with Windows 8 operating system that supports flash player?

    Hi,
Windows 8 is shipped in with pre-installed Flash Player for both the desktop and RT (tablets) editions. So all tablets and touch screen devices running on Windows 8 should be able to support Flash Player by default.

  • Creative mp3/mp4 player with video aut conex

Hello, first of all, sorry for my English... but I?m from Spain. I visited your creative website, and I see most of the mp3/4 players of for page. The new Zen with 2,5" screen is increible. I searching for a player with the following specifications:?- Audio and video player. - At least 2,5" screen. - Ampliable memory by any memory card format. - And the most important for me, a external audio/video conexion, for conect it with a TV. I see the specifications of the Zen vision W. And all I need is in it. But the Zen vision W is to big for me, I?m searching something more portable, like dimensions of new Zen.
With product, have all of these specifications? Thanks in advance.

    Hello Philipp
    Okay, that worked, thanx!! :)
And well, not having HTML5 video playback is not a big issue I think. I mean, till now I only encountered low(er) quality playback when HTML5 is used. At least, my 1080 HD vids on YouTube are low quality on high settings when played with HTML5 enabled.

  • Purchased iTunes song to mp3/mp4 non-ipod

I just purchased the theme to Star Trek for our daughter. She wants it on her mp3/mp4 player. It's not an iPod (too young for such an expensive item).
It's sitting on my Mac and I can't do a thing with it.
How do I get it onto her player so she can listen to it?
    Thanks!
    susan

iTunes downloads will only play on iPods or iTunes
phones due to the DRM (Digital Rights Management)
copy protection. However if you burn it to an audio
CD you can import it back as an MP3 track. You'll
lose some quality in the process but you'll be able
to use the track on other devices.
Thank you very much -- I Just went in and checked iTunes, and I'm not certain what to do -- do I export it or what?
Thanks -- this is the first time I'm trying to do this --

  • Can't load my ipod nano from itunes on a mac; that is, I can't drag and drop an mp3 file (of a speech) from iTunes to my iPod--though the iPod shows up on iTunes. My nano is the brand new touch screen.

I received the new iPod Nano with the touch screen for Christmas. I have a MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8. I have iTunes 10 on my system. I cannot drag and drop MP3 files from iTunes to my iPod--though it appears that iTunes recognizes my iPod--it shows up on the Devices menu on the left side of iTunes. My wife--a long-time Mac user--kidded me that I didn't know what I was doing, Then she tried to load my iPod and failed as well. Any suggestions?

Is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes?

  • Best MP3/4 player with a big screen???

    Hi,
I want to buy an MP3/4 player for my disabled son.  I need the largest screen possible to capture his attention (I've seen one that is 3", are there any larger than that?) and would love one with the option of external speakers or ear plugs. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I looked at this unit but the price is fairly high, and it does a lot of stuff that I don't need (like television, internet, media club).  I prefer to stay around the $100.  price range and use it for watching videos or video clips (my son's attention span is very, very short) plus put his music on the unit.  It would be used for him to be entertained on airplanes, long car trips and when it is necessary for him to sit quietly.
Is there anything like the Archos 5 but in a smaller price range?

  • Lcd touch screen music machine by java?

    hi,
newb here, first post, please forgive if its in the wrong place.
i have a really nice portable mp3 player by iriver, but was thinking about converting an old pc with about 60gb hd to drive a touch sensitive lcd screen version for my car.
i have a little programming experience in pascal and java, and was wondering a couple of things.
can a java run such a screen in a high level fashion?
one extra function i want in playing mp3 and ogg vorbis files is the ability to play in a gapless fashion. have any of you experience with this?
    a

The short answer is that this should be doable in Java. Certainly much more than in Pascal, since Java gets an enormous amount of actual industrial use.
The question is more generic Java than specific to the SJ Studio product, so you might find a broader audience over at
    http://java.sun.com/
I just typed "MP3" into search and came up with 53 results, for example:

  • How do I disable touch screen temporarlily in command promt?

I had been Starting a Command prompt, and here's what I have So far
    @echo off
    title YELLOW_BEAR
    mode 166,68
    :BEGIN
    color 6E
    echo ITS ME
    shutdown.exe /r /c "IT'S ME" /t 60
(disabling mouse, touch screen, ect. line would be here)
    goto GOLDEN_BEAR
    :GOLDEN_BEAR
    "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Videos\[FILENAME].mp4"
    TIMEOUT 20
    pause
    goto GOLDEN_BEAR
I have one teeny question- Is there Any way I can add on to this so it can also disable ALL user actions? (touching the screen, typing, mouse pad) BUT, for only temporary purposes so it can be enabled again when restarted? (note line #7, "shutdown.exe
    /r /c "IT'S ME" /t 30)
so it would be like this-
    user clicks on prompt
user sees ITS ME on command prompt window
user is notified windows will shutdown, with comment of IT'S ME
[FILENAME].mp4 (around 20 seconds, note "TIMEOUT 20") would play, user cannot pause because off
             all actions would be disabled
after 20 seconds, [FILENAME].mp4 would play again, in fact 2 more times ,total of three the user.
not being able to do anything], until  it restarts and the
touch screen would be working again
by the way, I run windows RT 8.1 on surface 1

Open it in iTunes and restore your device.

  • Directory structure support and sluggish touch screen

I bought a Zen X Fi2. My expectations were high since I already had a creative some years ago. (I was quite pleased with the performance and sound quality etc)
However I am a bit dissapointed with Zen XFi2- The touch screen is not very successful. The scroll function does not work at a satisfactory level and sometimes (when I want to scroll), it makes a "selection" rather than "scrolling".
Also it does not support browsing with directory structure. For those people (like me) who are quite used to drag and drop type of copying for mp3 files, it is really a pain to re arrange all the songs for ID3 tag information.
I believe these two issues are software issues and can be improved by new firmware upgrade.
I also want to take this opportunity to tell that the software (interface software) that comes with the device is totally crap- I have never seen a software that tries to control the user rather than the user controlling the software. An ideal interface software for such a device should be the one which allows user to choose the songs from any directory, drag and drop into the device.
I was going to return my Zen however after playing around for a few days, I somewhat get used to its sluggish touch screen behaviour and accepted ID3 tag browsing (which still gives me a lot of problem) so right now I am gonna keep it.
May be software developpers can work on touch screen improvement, adding the support for directory structure browsing (as well as ID3 tag browser) and work on interface software a bit more ?
    Thanks
    Best Regards

This is indeed interesting because when you say "I don't have the problems you mentioned" I believe you also refer to the sensitivity of the touch screen. This makes me ask the question if my item has some problems. Since I do not have any means of cross checking this (apparently there is no other Zen XFi2 around me) may be I should ask you this question: "When you want to browse among albums for example, you wipe your finger across the screen so the screen rolls down; can you have it fluently like in an IPOD touch?- or does it not recognize immediately and you have to do it again sometimes?"
As for the volume button- I do indeed agree. For devices like this one; having physical buttons for at least volume, mute, stop/pause is a "must"! Choosing, browsing or starting a song is not a big deal however muting, stopping or changing the volume may be needed instantly from time to time. It is very unpractical to browse for volume, find it and adjust it!
Also may I add that for such a nice device, there should be a remote control on the headphone/earphone cable and should employ at least stop/play/mute/volume/forward/reverse buttons. I mean think about it for a while- why would you want to take use this device- apparently not to watch movies at home! You take it with you and listen to music, while cycling, jogging, skiing, roller blading etc. It is so difficult taking out the device from your pocket, browsing for volume button and turning up and down the volume (while cycling for example!) or skipping to next song with one touch!
    Cheers

  • DRIVE TO TOUCH SCREEN - WINDOWS 8

    Hi.
I've installed the windows 8 on my  HP TouchSmart 520-1050 and the touch screen stoped your function. I didn't find its drive. What to do?! The HP will create a specific drive to this computer? Waiting for answer.
    Thanks!

    THIS is HP's position on Windows 8 support and any HP computer not supplied with Windows 8;
Not all Windows 8 features may be available on all PCs.
Your particular experience with Windows 8 will be determined by the capabilities of your PC.
HP is providing upgrade instructions and drivers will be available for most Windows 7 systems sold after 1st October 2011.
If you want to restore the original operating system after upgrading, you must create HP recovery media before you upgrade.
Please note that if you purchased your system prior to October 1, 2011, HP has not tested these PCs or developed Windows 8 upgrade instructions or drivers for them. Upgrading such systems may be difficult or impossible.

Secure Boot & other UEFI dependent features
    Limitations with touch screen capabilities
Windows 7 PCs with touch screens will not have full Windows 8 touch capabilities after upgrade.
HP PCs with touch input hardware designed for Windows 7 will provide a comparable experience for only two touch point applications after the upgrade to Windows 8. HP Windows PCs with touch input hardware will not support Windows 8 applications that require more than two simultaneous touch points.
Additionally, Windows 8 edge swipes may not be available due to the recessed bezel on HP touch systems shipped with Windows 7.
HP TouchSmart Magic Canvas and HP TouchSmart applications are not compatible with Windows 8 and must be uninstalled before upgrading. Note that content created using the TouchSmart applications such as Graphitti will not be available after upgrading.

  • N97 Touch Screen

I have an N97 and every day now the screen will stop responing to touch input. I think this is a hardware issue as i have always updated the firmware as soon as its released and I have the same problem no matter the firmware.
Resetting and turning off/on again doesnt solve it. Just have to lock the screen and rub my thumb over the entire screen and it seems to start working again.
Could part of the touch screen be getting stuck down?
Any body else have the same problem?
its my first nokia after having 10 years of sony ericsson's. can i get replacement touch screens anywhere?

  • Help to pick-out a new windows 8 touch screen laptop

I Don't need to most expensive or the cheapest. I guess I want the most bang for my buck. I am not up-to-date on my PCs so I need your help. Just reply with your thoughts and ideas. I've always had Hp but it has been 3 years since I have bought a new laptop. I have a few android tablets but no new laptop. The main one I use now is a 64 bit windows 7 with 2.2GHz duel core 17" screen and 4gb ram. It still works just fine but I'm thinking about a faster PC and want the touch screen like my tablets. No resistive touch screens if they even make them anymore.
    Looking for the following
    windows 8
    touch screen
    i7 or same in amd
    8 gb or more ram
    not sure about the rest
Please give me your opinion or advice. if you could buy anything at best buy, which ones and why? PS I game on the PS3 (soon on the PS4) but not on the PC and I don't like lag or buffering in any way.

hmmm, from what you are telling me, I would suggest this laptop:
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+15.6%22+Touch-Screen+Laptop+-+8GB+Memory+-+750GB+Hard+Drive+-+Bla...
I would suggest because I am an asus fan myself, I have always used them as my go to manufacturer with my motherboards on any custom built PC i put together. They are a very reputable name, and are very well made. It should meet all your needs, has 750 GBs of hard drive space (gives you enough room for all the HD pictures and videos!) as well as plenty of ram and an i7 Processor. The ONLY thing i see that might be slightly better is a couple of the sony vaios have solid state drives, and that is a nice plus. Faster boot times, faster read/write speeds. But as you said you didn't want something to make you spend more if it was not a big difference and while it would be a difference, I don't see it being THAT big of a difference for yourself. If you can find a local best buy that has that Asus, I would suggest going in to check it out if its on display. Get a feel for it and see if you like the keyboard. That is a big MUST on buying a laptop, making sure you like the keyboard!
I hope this helped! post any other questions if you like!
Even though I work for best buy, my posts and thoughts are that of my own and do NOT represent best buy in ANY WAY.

  • Touch screen touching itself automatically

    Help!!
I just bought Lenovo A520 Core i3 4GB 1TB Windows 8 Blu-Ray All In One Desktop PC. The touch screen begins to touch itself automatically. I returned it to the retailer but they could not replicate the problem so they returned it to me. However, it didn't take long before the problem recur. Now I have to disable the touchscreen in order to use the PC. I am in the process of discussing with the retailer but if anyone here can help me get it sorted that would be great!
Thank you in advance for your help!!!

I have a different machine, but last year I experienced touch screen issue. It turned out to be a external harddrive connect via the USB ports went defective.  Try unplugging all external connectors and restarting the system to test if something like that is happening.
    Good luck,

  • How do I enable my touch screen for my new laptop?

Just bought a New Hp Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Notebook n090sa and was wondering how i enabled the touch screen as i cant seem to find any information on this.
    Thanks in Advance

You shouldn't need to do anything, as the TouchScreen was enabled at the factory when Windows was installed.
