4GB iphone with some issues HELP

I have a jailbroken iphone 4gb. It is not unlocked. There is something wrong with it, sometimes the screen will say to take it to apple support. However the phone does power on and the screen and LCD work perfectly. The power button also doesn't work so I can't turn it off, but it comes on automatically after being charged.
Any ideas on how to fix it??? Im sure it can be fixed.

Restore your iPhone with iTunes to get rid of whatever garbage you have installed on your iPhone, which is not approved nor supported by Apple.
If this doesn't resolve it, contact AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. If Apple can determine that you have hacked your iPhone with jailbreak, your warranty will very likely be void.

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.

Unless you have backed up the items you don't. You can contact iTS Customer Service and tell them what has happened and they might give you a second download. You are only entitled to one download of the purchased content per the iTS terms of service.

New to Solaris administration - Need some help with some issues

Hello all,
I am a new to Solaris administration and need some assistance with a few things. I was going to make separate posts but decided it would be easy to keep track of in one. I really do not know much about the OS but I do have a little Linux background so that might help me out. I am going to number my problems to keep them sorted, so here we go.
The machine:
Sunfire V880
4x 73GB HDs
PCI dual fiber channel host adapter
Attached RAID array:
Sun StorEdge T3 Array with 9x 73GB HDs
Sun DDS4 Tape Drive in a Unipack
OS: Solaris 5.10
Updates: Updated everything except 2 patches (Updating is a real pain isn't it? At least it seems that way to me.)
1. So I might as well start with the update issues! These 2 updates will not install:
-PostgreSQL 8.2 source code, (137004-02)
Utility used to install the update failed with exit code {0}.
-Patch for mediaLib in solaris, (121620-03)
Install of update failed. Utility used to install the update is not able to save files. Utility used to install the update failed with exit code 4.
No idea why the PostgreSQL update is not working, but the medialib patch seems to not have enough hard drive space.
2. Where are all the drives? I don't know how to find the RAID box or the other 3 internal hard drives. When I installed the OS, I think I installed it on only one hard drive and that might be part of the reason why the medialibe update above says that I don't have enough space.
3. I probably need more space for the OS and updates, is there a way to "add" space onto the hard drive that currently is running the OS?
3. Once I see the other hard drives I wish to combine them to make a RAID 0 and RAID 5 array, how do I go about doing that?
4. How can I find/see the tape drive?
5. Does my swap space really need to be 64GB? I know the book I have read suggests it, but I only made it 5GB because it didn't seem to make sense to make it 64GB.

Exit code 0 means there were no errors. When you run showrev -p 137004-02, does your system show that the patch is installed? When you run format command, how many drives are listed? Identify your root drive (compare with output of df command you ran earlier) Please post here.2. Output of df-hk, looks like I ran out of room. Should I just go ahead and reinstall the OS?

I would try to be as clear as possible.
I usually receive emails with a certain subjetc and an address in them. So I'm trying to make a service to extract the e-mail address from the message I received and then automatically send to that address (the one I got) a new e-mail (wich is always with the same content). This should be automatically, I mean every time I receive an e-mail in a certain mail box.
I only managed to extract the email address, but i have to highlight the text where it is, so... is a bit useful.
I hope someone could help me.

Yes, the address I want to send the outgoing message is within the content of the email I received. So, yes, I don't want to reply to the address that the message comes from, instead I want to send the new message to the email within the message as I said. And just like you said, if this wasnt ike that, it would be pretty simple.
What I have managed to do for now is extract the email from the message, using this: http://www.macworld.com/article/1161326/extract_email_address.html
So I can paste the email from the message on a separate text with that service.
But this doesnt happen automatically and then I dont know how to paste the address I got from the text as the outgoing address in the new email.
To conclude, all the emails I receive are pretty much the same, just few information change, but I think that the address is always at the same place. I said "I think" because maybe it is a few lines up or down depending on what the customer bought.

ITunes-iPhone music syncing issue, HELP PLEASE!

Hi, after having some hardware issues with my iPhone 5, Apple replaced it with a new one.
I restored everything from my iCloud backup with no problem and it downloaded all of my iTunes Store songs on the phone without any issues and as I plugged my phone into my 2010 MacBook Pro to put some new songs to it from a CD I just bought, ALL of the songs that I have on my phone that I bought from the iTunes Store were duplicated as grey 'ready to sync' songs. But they were not syncing. So I deleted all music and videos from my phone (by the way, I always use the Manually manage songs and videos function in all my devices, never did auto-sync) thinking maybe if i drag everything from my computer it'll change, but it won't! Whenever I click on 'sync', the grey songs appear. And the grey songs are only the songs that were bought from the iTunes Store and the songs I used to have on the other iPhone, that are in the iCloud backup. I've tried almost eveything for the past 3 days and finally gave up and decided to ask for help. If anyone can help me i'll be extremely grateful, thanks.
My iPhone 5 is running on iOS 7.0.6 and 11.1.4 on iTunes

Im unable to assist you with the mac/mail side of the house. If you had outlook then I could assist. My thougts would be...With your phone plugged into iTunes, go to the second tab and confirm that you have contacts checked to sync between your computer/phone...if you don't then it will just transfer all your 0's and 1's to digi land. Contacts and calenders sync with your calender software, iTunes is just the conduit to get it there. I would also recommend that when you get your contacts back on your computer that you create a backup file in case this happens again, then you can just restore it. Hope this all helps.

Syncing iphone with Outlook, please help

I have been with Apple support on the phone, but so far they can't help me. my contacts sync to Outlook Express(old version from when I used to have dial up) but the calendar (Outlook 2003) doesn't sync either way..from pc to phone or phone to pc. Does anyone have a clue why it's not working for me? I think there is a conflict with having both Outlook Express and Outlook... but I don't know how to remove Outlook Express... it's not listed in the Add/Remove list. Could some really savvy techie help me? Thanks for listening!

hey walter25 thanks for the info... I ran through that link and of course Outlook Express cannot be deleted without a lot of hassle... I am not that tech savvy. But I really feel the iphone software is recognizing outlook express and not outlook... and that's why it synchs contacts to express and my calendars don't sync because express has no calendar... I bought a Samsung Tab S 8.4" in one of yours stores in Florida, but now after 6 months of using it I have some problems. The tablet can not be used below 30% of charge in its battery, because it start freezing and suddenly it restarts. What do you need to check out my tablet???

I don’t have a Samsung Tab S nor is my tablet new, but mine’s starting to have some battery life issues of its own. It’s to the point where I constantly have to have it charging in order to work, and it can be rather inconvenient. I’m sorry to hear your relatively new device is having problems of its own, especially as you are now outside the United States.
Typically, we’d ask you to bring in your tablet to your local Best Buy store to see if a software issue is what’s causing the problem you’re reporting. If not, we’d see what repair solutions you’d have available to us if it’s the battery itself. Seeing as you are outside of the country though, this isn’t a realistically feasible option. At this point, I’d suggest contacting Samsung directly to see if you may receive a battery underneath your manufacturer’s warranty.
Alternatively, you may have repair options underneath your Geek Squad Protection plan if one was purchased with your tablet. If so, please follow the instructions provided here for a potential international claim.

Msi gt70 with some issues and questions answer asap thanks

my first issue is my ssd it is just too small how do I increase it probably a step by step link to where I can purchase and learn how to install it second of all I really need my msi burn recovery so my f3 does not work anymore, I have my drivers cd but that doesn't have it, the next issue is softwares I use when the render the use my ssd and that makes them seriously slow the need more memory space I wish I could make them use the bigger harddrive at least for the main time till I get a new one, my soft keys work except eject and wireless off all others work

Well, first off, try and use some periods here and there. Or a list. Something to atleast break things up in a coherent manner.
So, you want a guide on how to install another SSD. That's a pretty complex matter, judging by what I can get out of your post, your technical prowess may not be where it needs to be in order to do that.
Also, without knowing what you currently have, other than it is a GT70, it really makes it difficult to tell you what to get.
As far as your software, I'm sorry, but there really isn't any way to help you since you seem to have not made the recovery disks like you were supposed to. I would contact MSI for more information on how to proceed at this point.
After we get the above sorted, we can work on your other questions.

Urgent Iphone with new laptop help needed!

ok so i did a fresh reinstall of leopard on my macbook without thinking about syncing my iphone.
now whenever i plug my iphone into my laptop it thinks its a camera and opens image capture and asks me what photos i want to download off it. It wont show up on the desktop or in itunes.
I have all the music, apps etc backed up on my machine. i do not however have backups of my contacts!
i have a backup of the iphone in itunes, but i cant get to a point of restoring the phone to the back up i have, as plugging it in does nothing.
there is a setting to erase all content and settings on the iphone, will this render it as if i had just bought it out of the shop, meaning i can resync with my 'new' laptop?

I managed to fix it myself in the end, with a slight work around. once i had reinstalled leopard, i noticed a utility called migration assistant. I used that to transfer my old user account off my time machine and restore all the settings etc. now my iphone syncs with my laptop again. hoorah!
Interestingly, i tried the migration assistant when installing leopard (the whole 'setting up your computer' process) but it refused to do anything. I would tell it what to restore from time machine, it would accept, and then sit there with an empty progress bar that did not move all night. And i mean all night!

The class WebClient will represent a simple web client. This class must provide the following functions:

2. obtain or get the response from a server

UK iPhone with timezone issues

Hi,
I have a UK iPhone and have just arrived in the US, unfortunately it's not picked p the local time and every time I change the timezone it magically jumps back to London.
I've had to go in and manually change the time however this means my world clocks are all wrong.
I have tried resetig the phone but can't think of what else, any ideas?

I have exactly the same issue. I keep changing london in both the settings date&time and also the mail, contacts, calendar. it works for a while and then sets itself back to Cupertino.
I thought this might be .me issue, but i have made sure the .me is set to GMT.
My mail is OK on the .me mail client on the web but a load of hours behind on my iphone.
Any suggestions or is this a 2.1 fix!

sweet, that fixed the error problem. Now i have to figure out
why my text won't load. The fun of learning!! I love running into
problems and spending an insane amount of time trying to trouble
shoot them, just to find the problem to be something so simple and

FGI0 - FGI5 Issues with Some Profit Center with Line Items

Hi Experts,
I am running with some issue, not sure if im missing something. I have created a report form thru FGI4 (with FAGLFLEXT), i have two line items which are related to expenses which are going to cost center and another line item which are related to revenue which is goint to PA segment. In expense line items i just added two characteristics one is chart of accounts and another one is account group for revenue items i have added chart of accounts, account group, profit center group and CO area. later i created a report thru this form and executed, i dont get any values for expense line items, where as for revenue i get the values, i dont why.
If i remove the profit center group in revenue line items, i get value for both expense and revenue. and i tried this option adding all profit center group for expense line items, then i get nothing for both exp and revenue.
The reason for having profit center group in line items, is to show reveneue from different profit centers.
I dont know what i am messing up, can anybody help me out please

Thanks for nice reply . As suggested I passed entry using Tcode 9KE0 and incorporated the Profit Center correction .The document also got posted as type A0 .
However when we are taking the report for the reference GL & Profit-Center using Tcode S_ALR_86000030 , there is no change in the figure . The figure remain same as appeared before posting of Document using Tcode 9KE0 .
Kindly guide us on the above please .
